Giving this a 5 because I had the best fried Jumbo shrimp EVER! Yum. The decor is charming, perhaps a little dated. Covid changes e.g. a non active buffet are evident. The staff are very friendly and the food was super quick! Super good too. Prices were very fair.

I used to eat here and it was great. We stopped coming and went to Gastonia exclusively when they said they'd "never" reopen their salad bar after 5he pandemic; Gastonia did. We decided to give it another try years later when they reopened their salad bar. It had nearly everything Gastonia had, but our meals just didn't taste as good. The hushpuppies weren't as good and our broiled stuffed shrimp were overcooked, tough and the stuffing was horrible. My mother had fried catfish and expressed they weren't as good and some were undercooked. We will continue being loyal to the Gastonia location even if it's further away. The food and service is just better there.

My fried oysters were greasy and the breading did not taste good. I went with a group in the mail was free so I couldn't complain but I won't go there and pay for their food this is not the first time they have disappointed me don't waste your money.

For to go orders, make sure you check and taste your food before pulling off. I got a small calabash shrimp dinner to go yesterday. The shrimp was hot and freshly made, but the fries and hushpuppies tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours and were disgusting. They were not busy at all, so I don't understand why everything on the plate wasn't made fresh. Expected more for a $15 lunch, but then again, almost all food in Gaston County is disappointing. Not too surprised.

As a kid our family used to eat at this location quite often. In the past few years we have been going to the Linwood Rd location in Gastonia. We recently decided to go to the Belmont location and at 6PM on a Friday night there was hardly anyone in there. It used to stay packed on Friday and Saturday nights years ago. The taste of the food did not seem as good as the Linwood Rd location. We will stick with the Linwood Rd location or other Fish Camps in the area going forward.

It's an old throwback fish camp, with big piles of tasty fish. I recommend the combo platter and go with it peppered you will thank me. The staff is really friendly If you're looking for big piles of seafood this is your place.

I always enjoy eating here. Im not a big fish person. But i do love shellfish. They make fantastic jumbo shrimp. I get them salt and pepper. I like the deviled crabs as well. But i go here for their marinated beef tips. Oh my god, so good. They make wonderful steaks, too. Their hushpuppies are amongst best I've ever had. On this visit, they had the salad bar open. I really enjoy making a custom salad. The atmosphere is mom and pop sea shanty. Every where you look there's a sea themed item. The staff is courteous and pleasant. They want to serve and make your visit wonderful. Y'all should come try them. It won't break the bank. Plus, their menu is extensive

Rated 5-stars on the fish camp scale. This place is not fancy but they have a wide variety of seafood (mostly breaded and fried). The salad bar is included with most meals unless you are sharing a meal. The Deviled Crab is great.

Food is always Fresh. The salad bar is opened back up again. The service is excellent. Paige is our favorite waitress. She is fantastic and always keeps my husband tea full...that is a hard task. The cashiers are always friendly. The candy selection at check out gets us everytime. Mallo Cups are my favorite. The atmosphere is nice and plenty of tables and staff.

Poor quality of food. Salad bar has limited items with iceberg lettuce only. Hush puppies were greasy with no taste. Slaw had very little flavor. Will not go back. Kind of lost my appetite after a few bites.
