Just got back from taking my 6 y.o. son fishing. We caught a few small blue channel catfish and some other fish as well. There were ducks swimming around us the whole time and didn't seem to mind us drowning worms. It was a great day of bonding with my son, and it's not too far from the house. We will definitely be coming back again to do some more fishing.

The Riverwalk is a great place to relax, read a book and watch the birds...loved it. There is a basketball court, plenty of parking space, nice trails along the river, places to eat nearby and great spots to take pictures or just sit down and enjoy nature.

Favorite park in Belton. My dogs love it. The ducks are hilarious- they aren't afraid or humans. Please feed them peas instead of bread! Overall it's a great walking trail with beautiful scenery.

One of Texas' beautiful creeks and small town parks. Great limestone rocks and trees with which to find a seat on the water or in the shade. I personally like the spot near The Gin with a view of the downtown; great spots nearby to get a snack, drink, or ice cream.

I love feeding the Ducks, Geese, & Pigeons! Always fun! Never feed bread! Always feed Blueberries, Strawberries, Broccoli, Wild Bird Seed, Sweet Corn, Peas! It's more nutritional and it keeps them happy! They always appreciate it! They will swarm if you have food! (If you don't They leave you alone) but done be afraid, they're just gonna eat! 🥰💕

Best place for dog training, skating, basketball etc! Easy access to the fun man-made (small) rapids for kayaking/tubing in warmer weather and great walking trails!! Has 2 playgrounds directly adjacent, 2 basketball courts, 2 bathrooms, a gazebo with seating etc.!

Love going to this park in the early morning. The sun is just raising and lots of people exercising with their fur babies. The park does have some ducks that want to be feed. The park is very clean and the ground keeping crew is always working on keeping it beautiful. The trail along the creek is a great place to relax and unwind to start or end the day. You can take some unbelievable pictures as if you were some where else but not in Belton. It's a must on your list to go in Belton.

Excellent park. Newer to the area, I haven't lived in a place that's had quality, kept parks. Trees are good for shade, dog park is solid and plenty of fields and parking! I've gone for kickball practices for a work competition (sounds lame, but it's been pretty neat). Today I believe all the fields with stands in the front were full of league stuff (kids and the like), but our field in the back was open. I think another one was, too. I don't think we reserved the field. What we used was scrappy and awesome. I think you being your own bases if you want them. Kids loved the playground. Lot's of doggies and their people, even on a hot day. Nice place, indeed.

We absolutely love this park! We usually go swimming here but there is so much to do. There is a splash park, basketball court, fishing and plenty of sidewalks up and down the river to walk. The kids absolutely love it. It’s completely free, just bring your swimsuit and cooler ❤️

Love this place, plenty of room to walk or run and it leads all the way to the splash pad and park for kids. It's along the river and there's ducks. There's places to go for a dip if you're so inclined (not sure if you're allowed but I did!) Plenty of places to sit, covered areas too, a basketball court and restrooms that are decent.
