Incredible, made-from-scratch eats. Everything from the coffee to the cakes to the eggs were put together with the love of a mother. Didn’t have room to give the Hummingbird cake a try, good chance of my eyes rolling back in my head followed by a solid blackout so I couldn’t take the risk. Id recommend bringing a strong family member and a stretcher along because the portions are quite hearty. I pert near left in a body bag, but that won’t stop me from coming back! Also, great story about how the owner fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning and operating a popular cafe. Love to see and live the American Dream while it’s in action!

Great family breakfast spot. We hD take out today and we were blown away by the potion sizes! Lots of food for the price. Food was hot and fresh and cooked to order. We will definitely make a return stop when we visit Bemidji again! There's free street parking and a free lot across the street. Get there early kn the wknd. The draw the crowd!

Our first time in Bemidji and this was the first place we stopped in to eat and we were so happy to have come here. The place is charming and has a very homey vibe to it. The service was awesome and food was delicious, very few times do I see my husband enjoy the food as much as he did here. The bathrooms are some of the nicest and clean bathrooms I've been in. Overall highly recommended stopping in for breakfast and/or lunch.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. We came in with a large group for brunch and our server didn't miss a beat, it's hard to serve a party of 10 as efficiently as a party of two but they killed it.

Extremely overrated restaurant. They tout “home cooking” and that is completely false. I’ve been in the business for over 30 years and I know when foods are delivered from national wholesale distributors like Sysco or US Foods. These companies sell products pre-packaged (ready-made egg batter, etc)—items that are chock full of preservatives and high in cholesterol and fats. Unfortunately, these food distribution giants also contribute to the mountains of harmful pollution that enter our environment in the form of plastic waste. Don’t be fooled, it’s not home cooking. Maybe years ago when the restaurant first opened that vision was alive and well with the original owner. But not anymore. Instead you’re treated as though you must dine in and then get out as fast as possible. Also, the atmosphere has something to be desired. If you want to go to a place with bland/mediocre food, lots of preachy religious decorations on the walls, and older patrons (their main demographic/crowd) wearing NRA emblems and looking at you like you’re an alien, then this is the place for you. I left two stars only because my server was nice (even though she suggested that I pay for my meal before I was done eating, since her shift was ending).

We hired MN Nice to cater our wedding (we did a breakfast buffet), and they were FANTASTIC! The day of, I only saw or talked to them when they asked the wedding party if they wanted seconds and they went and made us another plate - they setup, cooked, served, and cleaned up and we barley noticed them. They just showed up and did their job, and they did it well. I couldn’t expect more from a caterer. Super professional and friendly, we had complements from guests on how they did and the food was delicious!! I highly recommend MN Nice to cater any event, especially weddings!!!

Waitress was so friendly that's part of their whole experience. I had the eggs Benedict and the portion was huge and tasty. Coffee was strong and fresh! They had a printout on the story of the cafe at our table and it's a great spot@

Even on a busy Sunday, they found an open table. Nothing but excellent service and great food after.

Danielle and her team did an absolutely amazing job catering our wedding at the Bluebelle! We would highly recommend her and her team! The food they prepared was amazing, they kept guests with food restrictions in mind, and she even offered a taste testing months before the wedding! Everyone was raving at how good the food was!

10/10 coffee was good. I have a Denver omelette and it was amazing. Just the right amount of food.

Plenty of food, very tasty. I had the 3-meat skillet. The apple caramel pancakes were wonderful too. Loved the decor, especially the murals. We arrived shortly before noon on a weekday, and had maybe a 15 minute wait to be seated. Service seemed a bit slow, but the waitress said it had been a very busy morning. A great choice for breakfast in Bemidji.

Somewhat long wait till you get your order... primarily because the place is so popular. On the weekdays we were lucky to get seated right away. On the weekends 45 minutes wait. Food is really good home style cooking. First time ever we got pancakes with bacon in it...not with it, but inside the pancake. Splashed with brown sugar...to die for.

We highly recommend Danielle and her staff at MN Nice. She was organized and on top of things leading up to our wedding, taking all of the stress off of us. On the day of, we did not have to worry or think once about the dinner, as Danielle and her staff handled absolutely everything with precision. The food was hot and the guests loved it. We would use them again for any additional events we may have in the future.

We arrived to Bemidji for the weekend and looking for a local spot to eat. Luckily for us we arrived a about an hour before they closed, the restaurant was pretty packed and we waited about 10 min to be seated. The staff was very friendly and service was really good. I order the roast beef and walleye dinner, my wife got an omelet and breakfast potatoes. Let me tell ya that was the best roast beef I've had, I work in the restaurant business and tend to have high expectations and this place exceeded my expectations and had to pay a compliment with the waitress on how good everything was. If you're visiting Bemidji I highly recommend stopping by that is if you make it before 2pm closing time.

The food here is amazing!!! I had the Wild Rice omelet...with Red potatoes and toast. My son had the Lumber Jack..eggs cooked any way, choice of hash browns, red potatoes or casserole..quit a few options for bread......Everything looks so good on the menu it was so hard to decide.. try everything is what I can say... Super yum 😋

Highly recommend!!! Amanda, my server was excellent. She was speedy, attentive and made some good suggestions. I had the Ruben and it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had.

The country fried steak was amazing, the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The staff was super friendly and had a great atmosphere. The desserts look great but I was too stuffed to give it a shot.
