It's being remodeled, the front desk person said my room was finished. My room wasn't clean, and I'm not sure if the sheets had been changed. We left in the rain on a motorcycle. Just because you put some new furniture on a new floor shouldn't be considered a remodel. It was so dirty, it smelled dirty, and there was evidence of water damage that accounted for the musty smell. The dirt and animal smell was coming from behind the nightstand. I should have left before I went into the room. There's a vacant run-down hotel next to it. The front outside and the lobby are run down and by no means reflect the hotels advertised description.

Flew in late for a work trip and after driving 2 and half hours from Fargo I tried to check in for my reservation around 12-1 am and no one answered the phone or the door or front desk we stood outside for 20 mins and had to go to the best western and already had paid for a night here had to go to another hotel because they never answered.! In response to the hotel I understand check is at 3pm. My flight was delayed from morning until evening which is why I flew in late to Fargo and had to drive to Bemidj. Check in was at 3pm on 1/22/23 I got there that around 1am and no one was at the front nor was there a sign saying you’d had left or anything. I literally heard the phone ringing and ringing as me and my coworkers were standing there in the front cold as ever due to it being 9 degrees outside. We were there for work and were staying at your hotel which we had already reserved and paid.

This was a rough experience. I checked in and then checked out after a bad experience. The hotel is being repaired and there ae open doors standing open to dark rooms. I checked in after dark and the walked across a dark parking lot and went to my room, walking past open doors to dark rooms full of equipment. My room had a chirping smoke detector so I called down to front desk. The phone didn't work. I grabbed my bags and went down to the front desk and they sent someone up to check the alarm....he said "oh that's where the chirping is coming from---I heard that earlier". About the phone...they said hotels are going away from them anyway. After that I went back up to the room and the tv didn't work either. I checked out and went to another hotel. They would not refund me.....I asked to speak to the manager and he said he wasn't available and I wouldn't be able to understand him anyway, because he isn't from around here (what???!!). OY VEY! Take women, it doesn't feel safe.

Horrible. Reserved a room over Thanksgiving. Rude front desk staff. NOISY. Walls paper thin. Could hear everything and every person walking down the hall. Our bathroom had holes in the walls and what looked like mold. Save your money. Pay a little more and stay anywhere else. If I could give less than one star I would

A one star is too high of a rating. Booked room months in advance through booking company. Called the hotel 3 weeks prior to reservation to confirm. Was told everything was great. Got to the hotel on designated day. Check in is after 3pm...arrived at 6:30pm. Told my room was not available come back in 30 min. I did come back in 30 min to hear, it was not ready and would not be ready since it had a bunch of broken stuff in it. Was offered a room with one bed instead of the two I paid for. Asked for a refund, was told to get it from the booking agent. Hotel hung up on booking agent and then refused to refund me...since they don't give refunds. Unprofessional, terrible customer service. The hotel should have called the booking agent to cancel my reservation when they realized they couldn't accommodate me. Horrible experience. Response from the owner 51 minutes ago I am so sorry to hear about the issues that you experienced, especially with the rooms and staff courtesy during your recent stay with us. Please know that guest satisfaction is our utmost priority and we take what you have shared very seriously. Your review has been shared with management so that appropriate measures can be taken to improve on the issues you mentioned. Thank you for sharing your rating, Tuesday! Thank you for responding to my review. Does "taking appropriate measures to improve the issues I mentioned" mean I will receive a refund?, since I didn't actually get to stay with you?

It looks neglected when you drive up. They need landscaping and a better entrance. It is hard to get to and you have to circumvent a closed mall. The dumpsters are full of furniture so they have just replaced furniture. Room was adequate, having everything we needed. It needed a deeper clean but I see details. Breakfast was fair but typical. Pool area is closed and needs alot before reopening. Thus rooms are cheap!!

Driving up to the hotel was a disappointment. The landscaping was neglected and the grass was not mowed. The hotel looks tired. But that was the end of the disappointment. Stepping inside we noticed how clean it was and we were greeted and served by friendly, helpful and happy people. Our room was so clean and passed my "check the bathroom corners for dirt or hair test" with flying colors. I can't comment on the free breakfast because we sleep late and missed it. We had a very pleasant stay, thank you!

Hotel had a foul odor immediately and especially when I’d leave my room. I noticed right away most of the doors are damaged or broken in some way. Room was fairly clean however the ice bucket had what looked like month old melted ice with chunks of mold in it. I noticed fresh stains on the comforter leaving me to believe the last customer/ customers had used it and it has not been changed. Air conditioning was quite dated and I didn’t feel confident letting it run in fear the filter hadn’t been changed and the air quality which was already poor would be worse. The pool area was out of order and very dirty and musty. The staff in which who lives in the hotel was kind and friendly. Overall it’s a dump I personally wouldn’t recommend to stay here nor do I pan on coming back.

Will never stay here again. It was disgusting. The pool looked like milk, hot tub was closed. The landscaping was awful. The walls were paper thin. The outside doors didn't lock. People partied till well past 1 am and nothing was done about it. We were afraid to touch things in the hotel. Window was open when we walked in and the screen was cut. Toilet was leaking and the fridge. Our group all got charged different prices for the same type of room.

When you step inside the staff person behind the desk greets you right away. Quality Inn has great service and very friendly staff. Room is beautiful with comfy beds. Pet's are allowed. Breakfast is served. Checking in was easy and checking out was quick. We enjoyed our time there. We will return.

We had no problems with this hotel other than the waffle batter was watery. But they had a great breakfast. Our room was handicapped as my hubby has low vision. We also brought our dog and I was pleased that our room had no carpet. No carpet in hallways either. Decent pool and hot tub. The bed felt really hard but both of us slept surprisingly well. The back door was closer for us, and we were told our key card would get us in. But the door never locked securely so it wasn't needed. Not sure how I felt about that. But will stay there again.

Not a good hotel. Smells terrible when you walk in. Place is just generally run down and outdated. Could tell that the room was not cleaned well. Mold forming in corners of ceiling and yellow stained sheets. Place just needs some updating

Fairly clean rooms, microwave and coffee maker, strong showers. Bare floors but pet friendly. Continental breakfast with egg’s scrambled ,sausage, juices, cereal and waffles. Pool and hot tub

From the beginning it was awful. Pee left in our toilet , toilet seat peeling, floor was bubbling causing a tripping hazard, they gave us a different room, went to use the pool and going down the stairs there was wall paper all over the stairs and cutter with the blade open on the stairs for someone to step on, pool and hot tub where not full or usable. Ask for a refund cause we had our grandson who wanted to swim and told me he had to ask manager. Paint and texture all over the room doors. Remodel and items all over in hallways. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Wish I was able to post pictures. This post doesn't say it all. I am a general manager of a hotel an I would be embarrassed if this was one that I managed.

Just wanted to leave a review as I'd seen some negative ones about this hotel and was a little worried that I'd wasted points staying here. I've stayed at several (budget) hotels in the last year and this was as nice as any I've been to. It's not the fanciest or newest place in town but the room was clean, had all the amenities advertised. Room had a nice laminate floor which was nice with a dog ($15/night fee) and way less chance there'll be bugs. Had a clean microwave and a decent sized fridge with a small freezer. Bed was comfortable and AC worked on 90⁰ day. With a large bathroom. Had as good of a complimentary breakfast as could be expected (keeping in mind the price point). The pool, hottub and exercise rooms were all a little dated but clean and in service. They're redoing the rooms right now, I'm sure they'll get to these. And there was a decent grilling area outside, BYO charcoal. They had no problem with me cooking dinner out there with my electric frying pan. Location is just on the edge of town so very quiet. Maybe not what you are looking for if you want restaurants or the beach in walking distance but you can get a decent sleep. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions on things to see and do. Maybe 10 years ago, I would have nitpicked about some worn paint or a dated gym but I've seen some really below-par hotels lately. I would definitely stay there again.

The outside looks run down. I checked into my room and there was water on the floor from a defrosted room refrigerator. You'd think that would be checked before allowing someone to stay in the room. The room was ok, a little dated but it was decent otherwise. The continental breakfast was small but it was ok. The one thing that got me was the spoiled milk that I had to have the person on duty change. Those two things happening to me makes it impossible to recommend this particular Quality Inn as a place to stay.

Scheduled a reservation off the choice app using my points as I am a diamond member. I worked 17.5 hrs and was on my way to the hotel. They called me when I was 20 minutes out saying that no one works there after 11pm at night and the doors were going to be locked. Told me I had to call choice and transfer or cancel my reservation. After talking with choice and being transferred on the phone they were not able to help me out tonight. Apparently the general manager is going to call me tomorrow and see if I can get a refund for my points. I'm literally about fed up with choice with the care I have been receiving as of late. I stay at their locations at least 15-20 times per month and so does my fellow coworkers. They are also fed up. I would not recommend this location to anyone that's looking for a place to crash for the night. Thankfully Cedar Lakes Casino had rooms for the night and was also cheaper than quality. Their rooms are also way nicer than the sleep inn and quality that I recently stayed in. Hope this review helps!

Pool and spa wasn't open during my stay which was disappointing but the quality of the room was a pleasant surprise. Updated and had a the amenities I could possibly need. Breakfast was busy at 630, not enough coffee or food available for number of guests but staff was apologetic and did the best they could. Rates were unbelievably reasonable. Lots of trash in parking lot so it looked sorta dumpy but overall I would stay here again.
