Awesome place. Cool and quirky hotel. Rooms are spectacular. Beautiful town and the hotel is a must. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, maybe a little expensive. I can't recommend this place enough. Would definitely go back.

Always a huge pleasure to return to this outstanding restaurant. For me, and indeed my whole family, this is the very top restaurant in Benahavis.

Stylish but cosy hotel with a lovely courtyard restaurant. Come here for Moroccan boutique charm and great service. If you normally stay in corporate Hiltons, you will be disappointed...but I consider that a good thing 😉

This was the best place we stayed at on our trip through Spain. The staff were so helpful and made us both feel very welcomed! Our first night there we dined in the restaurant, the food was incredible and the service was amazing.

Everything was so good. The service was first rate, the staff were really attentive. The food was excellent our group ate most of the dishes on the menu and they were delicious. You have to pay a visit.

Just dropped in here to see if we could have drinks as it was pretty empty. We have been coming to Benahavis for many years and hadn’t eaten here and thought we would have some drinks to see if it’s worth returning to with the family. We were greeted with a warm smile and waited for a few minutes. We asked if we could have some drinks outside to be told no, and then a needles addon that they are one of the best restaurants in the region and won’t do drinks as they have an image they would like to keep, they are not a bar. Very strange and needless. Won’t ever go in there again and family or friends who frequent Benahavis will be advised to do the same. It’s a shame that those needless comments were made. Very very strange and horrendous behaviour.

This place is magical in every sense of the word! It is beautifully themed, clean and has a really nice vibe to it. The service and hospitality of Margo and the chef were amazing, we’ve hardly ever felt this welcome! The rooms and the hotel look stunning and the price is good for what you are getting. The chef makes the best food in town and writes a new menu every single day for his guests with the best local products. You should absolutely try the cava with passionfruit essence, it is absolutely delicious! We also got a free upgrade of our room which was beautiful, completely in theme, clean and spacious. Margo informed us about this when we were checking in, which was incredibly nice of her! Margo we will keep our fingers crossed for you ;)

It is a gentle walk back in time as soon as you step through the front door. The staff and owners are so incredibly welcoming it's like you have come home. The rooms are lovingly designed and very comfortable. The food caters for all palettes and is delicious... the chef is a true magician. The atmosphere is soothing magical and exotic all in one. It is easy to find and really worthwhile. All the staff and the owners are so friendly and helpful. I spend a wonderful relaxing 2 days and will definitely recommend Amanhavis on to my family and friends

Unusual, quirky, but I liked it. Handy to bars and restaurants around the corner. The people at reception couldn't have been more helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Benahavis is about an hour's drive from Málaga airport so taxi fare is expensive, but ask at Reception.

Lovely little hotel, with only 9 rooms it is a real boutique hotel. Despite the rooms being a little worn and dated, they are comfortable and provide what you need for a short - or medium length stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and it's well worth booking the breakfast. There are choices for every taste, from cereal and yoghurts to cold cuts, bacon to salmon, and everything in between. The restaurant is one of the best in town - we had the best paella I've ever tasted here - though come 7 pm there is plenty of choice in the surrounding area. Love it and will definitely come here again, should the occasion come our way.

My husband and I spent several days at the Hotel and Restaurant Amanhavis, and were delighted with our choice. We reserved the Catholic Kings Royal Quarters room (deluxe category). The bed was king size, very comfortable, and the linens were high quality. The room was quiet at night, and dark, so we slept well. We took all our breakfasts in the hotel, and two dinners. The restaurant is outstanding, and we highly recommend it. The town of Benahavis is charming, with many great hikes at your doorstep. The hosts are wonderful. In sum: this is a fabulous hotel, and an equally fabulous restaurant. We plan to return!

Stayed here for one night. Lovely hotel, hostess was very hospitable with a friendly smile. We had already arranged our dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant, but will definitely eat here next time we are in Spain. Thank you.

Found about this place from an online blog as an alternative to staying in Marbella. It was spot on! We arrived there late and decided to eat at their restaurant. Every single fish was amazing. The owners are very kind and attentive. We had the kids sleep in a room and we slept on another. Every room has a theme, our was Spices and the kids Philosopher. They made sure kids were close to us and offered us options. Definitely recommended this hotel.

Beautiful moorish style architecture and a hidden gem. We were not staying at this lovely hotel but had a pleasure of having a fantastic three course dinner. We were warmly received and were very well looked after throughout the evening. Fresh and great combination of ingredients with great end result. Kids were happy and they accommodated special meal request for our 8 year old. Thank you so much for the evening and the experience that we will remember for long time.

One of the most romantic hotels in the world. I absolutely loved the themed rooms and the garden fairytale atmosphere of the courtyard. Food was fantastic and it was so amazing to get to know the owners - they even added a special surprise touch to our personalized menus and welcome wall! They were so helpful in assisting us with our day trip itineraries and recommending incredible things for us to see and do. Clean, gorgeous, friendly, you don’t want to miss it!!!

Since many years we are eating at restaurant Amanhavis every time we are in Benahavis. For us it is the best food in town. Owner and staff are super friendly and the chef since many years is in a class of his own. We do not understand any of the negative reviews at all. Highly recommended and we will be back again before we leave.

Our room was like cave. It's dated but could be spectacular. Would make an unbelievable boutique hotel due to it's quirky set up but a trick missed unfortunately. 9 rooms 4 sunbeds. Doesn't add up

One of the best restaurants I ever been too for the first time in a long time I felt that food is not good only because the products are of excellent quality, but also because someone can really cook. The dishes were as wonderful as the service Which made my time incredibly pleasant. A place worth recommending.
