I really liked this place. The hostel is centrally located, about 200 meters from the Asi ghat. helpful staff make this a great choice. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm room. There were no bunk beds, and the room was large enough so that each guest had plenty of personal space. In-room lockers with locks included give you a place to securely store your bags. If you are solo traveler or group traveler Must visit place...5 Star...

Great hostel! One of the best places I have stayed in India and the cheapest as well, paid just 100 rupees for a dorm room per night! Super clean for Indian standards ;D Bathrooms are very clean as well. There is a kitchen available for cooking and drinking water available all the time. Rooms are nice, there are fans and huge lockers, big enough for a backpack. There are several common areas available for guests. They are really cozy, colorful, the interior design is made very thoughtfully. The roof terrace is very lovely as well. The stuff is very friendly and helpful.

Don't waste time, there is no such place now. It's closed years back.

Great Hostel. The toilets are slightly under provided - 2 cubicles & 1 shower between 2 rooms (14 beds). The rooftop has limited seating even though it has plenty of unused space. Can easily fit 2-4 more sets of seatings such as the one already on place. Despite all this, for some reason, the experience was good. That too I stayed during Holi when the hostel was full to the brim. I guess, the fact that you find similar minded people who could give you decent company, you can adjust a bit. A good place overall.

Food at hotels are costly and not worth. Too less number of good hotels here. It's better to eat dishes which are common in this region rather than eating South Indian foods prepared here by localites. They're not bad,but better to taste dishes that belongs to this region than those you've already tasted. The most common breakfast available here is Poori with Baji(Subji(Hindi)/Vegetable). It's really good. A lot of Vada and other small dishes. Other than meal,a lot of food to taste for foodies. Tea with ginger flavour will be served in a mudpot. Will be served in paper cups if requested.

Nice clean rooms, beds and shared bathrooms. They let guests use the kitchen, which is a big plus. Very courteous, friendly and accommodating staff. They even have power backup. Four stars because they should really make the entrance more visible.

Wouldn't go back again. Arrived and the staff took far too long to find our booking and check us in. We waited around and eventually was shown to our room. We came back around 7 and still no sheets or blankets were on the bed. After asking 4 times at 11pm a sheet was put on our bed, at midnight after complaining again (the staff laughed at this and didn't understand that we wanted a blanket so we could go to sleep) we eventually got a blanket. Around 1/2 in the morning I was woke by a member of staff climbing on my bunk bed to make the bed beside me. After 30 hours traveling this was the last thing I wanted. The manager was nice to be fair. However the rest of the staff were horrible, really unhelpful and rude.
