The Campfire Hotel is an excellent example of how to renovate an older complex and make it unique, modern, and exciting! Congratulations to the designers and contractors that really brought this place to life. The wilderness and camping theme is executed well and I loved the well thought out decorations, lights, and layout. The location is close to downtown near some great sites, but being that building is nestled in tall pine trees it feels like a small village away from the hustle and bustle. This place has a really great vibe that would work for an older couple looking to relax all the way to the youth looking to get wild at a pool party. I really enjoyed the bar overlooking the pool, the quirky drink menu, the DJ, the poolside conversation, the community fire pits (with live music), and the convenient food truck! I was also impressed that the parking lot was easy to access for my large Ford 350. I could go on and on but you’ll have to experience it yourself. Many of these elements made me feel like I was vacation! Thanks for creating an excellent experience Campfire Hotel and staff!

I would highly recommend this hotel for a 2-3 night stay. We stayed in a king room and I was happily surprised at how big they actually are. There was an area to sit and eat but also a second large table you could work on a laptop easily at. The rooms are very well appointed, just small things that go a long way like the large coat hooks and the caddy outside the bathroom. The bed was also very comfortable which lets be honest is key. Hot breakfast on-site is was a huge plus, the steak and egg sandwich was outstanding. It’s also very close to downtown and there is a Safeway across the street and a 7/11 a block over. We will absolutely be back!

Great spot! I think they did a great job taking an older building and renovating it into something unique and special. It was great for a two night stay. I appreciate the management understands older buildings have their quirks and provide things like ear plugs. There are also nice amenities for purchase in the rooms and more sustainable products like pump soap and lotion instead of multiple plastic bottles. We got to experience a lot of what Bend has to offer and also got to sit by the pool in the sunshine one afternoon to relax. We appreciate the smart TVs so we could relax in our room at night as well. It was about a 15-20min walk from the downtown/west side where a lot of the cute restaurant/shops are. We also did a 10min walk to Planet Fitness while we were there, so we appreciated the central location. Would definitely stay again if we visit Bend in the future, and we will recommend to others!

Stayed at the Campfire Hotel for the first time while traveling through Bend. Good location on the east side of Hwy 97. First off, the exterior decor is pretty cool. Check in was super easy. Very competent and friendly front desk. Got to our room. The decor was great and the room was clean and fresh. Little sitting area with fire pit right outside. Only down side, the fire pit was out of propane. The beds were cozy and we slept well. The place was nice and quiet. We used the pool, which was slightly heated to a perfect temperature. Great pool area. All around a good hotel, covering a couple buildings separated by a street. I would stay again. Just a couple little things that kept it from a five star rating overall. The body soap in the shower was empty, the empty propane for the fire pit, the exterior hallways and parking areas needed trash pickup and cleaning. Nothing major, but it does detract from a five star experience.

Cozy camp vibes galore! They did a great job renovating the campfire and I appreciate the clean and comfortable bed. My favorite part of the hotel is the exterior. The orange lights around the property lit it wonderfully at night along with the blazing campfire. The hot tub and pool are heated in the winter which is wonderful. The canteen and lobby area are a great lounge area. This was a great cozy camp vibe with fun things to do and definitely worth the value!

Such a great spot! Juice Easy in the main building has incredible juice, avocado mousse and the most flavorful sandwiches; Bobby and Sophia who run it are so talented and friendly! The mini fridge is stocked with different types of wine and beer, which is fun to have around for a nightcap. It was our pup’s first vacation with us and it was a hit with her as well. The room was very clean and comfortable. We picked up a Campfire Hotel candle on the way out to remember our stay. We definitely plan on visiting again, and are so grateful to all of the staff for hosting us.

Stayed at the Campfire for three nights for a work trip. It was the perfect mix of comfortable hotel and kitschy motel (in the greatest way). The bed was very comfortable, the parking was easy, the price was wonderful, the atmosphere was so much fun, and the room was quiet. I will definitely be staying here again. Next time I will bring my family and stay in a suite. Can't wait.

Comfortable room & very nice staff! The pool & hot tub were very warm and enjoyable. Having the fire pit was very relaxing after a busy day and having live music was an added plus. Being able to take my dog and see how he was welcomed was wonderful! Great place and it will be where I will stay if the need rises again.

We stayed at the sister property in Hood River before coming here, and we were so excited to check it out! The decor and theme are spot on. Everything gives camp vibes, from the orange lights to the bonfire to the camp chairs in the rooms. We stayed during the week and they were pretty fully booked. We loved the hot tub and heated pool! We didn’t get a chance to check out the bar. The bed was comfy enough! The only issue we had was being on the first floor, we heard everything happening above us, and we had some neighbors that were pretty loud both nights and when they were closing their door, it sounded like they were trying to come into our room.

What a fun place to stay! We have found our new hotel when traveling through Bend! The decor is absolutely perfect in every little detail. The mattress was comfy. The towels were thick. The coffee was delicious and good quality. Good job!!

Travelling through Oregon from Baker City to Pacific City, Bend was a perfect overnight spot. As I pulled in to the parking lot, and saw all the beautiful orange lights strung about tall trees (emulating the color of campfire ;) I said to my buddy "THIS IS SO MAGICAL". I went into the office and was met by such a nice person who enthusiastically greeted me and another guest, then guided us to where everything was; the bar, pool, etc. I loved the ambiance of absolutely everything. I enjoyed seeing a courtyard FULL of happy swimmers and tons of people around the campfire...on an idle Thursday. WOW. The rooms were spacious and had their own cute little kitschy style. I'm looking forward to another visit soon.

We visited in October of 2023. The location was convenient as it was a short walk to downtown. The staff was nice, the room was simple and clean - the real heart of this place was the fire pit where we warmed up in the evening while having drinks and meeting new people. The pool, hot tub, lights in the trees, etc. all added charm to this place. We would definitely stay again.

We loved Campfire Hotel! We stayed 2 nights and used the heated pool and campfire. Turns out on Saturday night they also had karaoke at the bar which was fun to walk home to after a night in town! We didn't see many others walking to downtown but we did the 10 min walk twice at night and felt safe. The design was refreshing and very camper friendly!

So cute- pretty design, nice sized rooms, really thoughtful touches and GREAT PRICE. There was a mandolin in our room that we tried to play an REM song on before bed😂 Great snacks and beverages available for guests which was a lifesaver as we are touring musicians and we’re starving when we checked in after midnight. Beautiful little spot.

We decided to stay a here for an overnight for concert in bend and we loved the fact that is pet friendly! It’s a this Greta boutique kinda hotel with a verily nice pool area with salt water and hot tub both were clean and the kids loved it! Has a nice sitting area and fit pit The hotel has a frat vibe to it and is very welcoming The staff was excellent! We had loud neighbors above us but the staff made every effort to make it right! We will definitely be back! However I will suggest to stay on-a second floor room if possible bc it’s an older place and the floors aren’t sound proof.

This place is very “Bend.” It actually reminds me of the Loge but further downtown. We liked all the decor and vibes and our pup loved the complimentary doggy bag of supplies. One thing we didn’t expect was the karaoke party getting back from dinner on a Saturday night? It was bumping. The bar is so cool, too. A nice place to hit before you turn in. One thing you should know is that parking is limited and the hotel is kind of noisy. Definitely an experience destination.
