Fantastic!!! If I could drop a mic, I would! Now that we are older, we no longer camp and have long-since sold our rooftop tent and RV. The kids now want to do their own thing or have other responsibilities which keep them from coming with us so, we’ve started travelling, whenever we can, on our own. This trip we decided to stay at hotels and motels of our choosing. We’ve been saving up for this for a while. As members of the Marriott hotel chain, we had several night’s stay available to us. So, coming to Bend, we decided to put those points to good use. Enter The Element in Bend. We’ve stayed at Element hotels before and they have all been near excellent! The Element in Bend is Excellent. Everything, from staff, to service, to cleanliness, to helpfulness, to amenities, this hotel ticked all my and especially my wife’s boxes. Front desk staff (Sol, we are specifically talking about you) were very down-to earth, super nice and friendly and knowledgeable of their craft and city. Kitchen staff, from those setting up to those cleaning up and in between; especially the short-order chef whose name escapes me - I’m so sorry - is an amazingly caring person who creates menus that match the activity levels of the area and customers and treats customers as if they were her own family. So caring of people’s well-being, nutritional needs and happiness. She knows customers by name!!!!You have to go and have her breakfasts every day. Chat with her and you’ll see I’m not making things up. Speaking of breakfast, this Element has limited short order options made freshly for you as you wait, as well as other popular options like hot and cold cereals, breads and bagels, fresh fruits and yoghurts, fresh juices and a variety of milks (cow, oat, soy). Lots of choices. When we were there, she made seasoned egg-white puffs with turkey sausage links, or French toast with either fresh strawberries or blueberries and whipped cream. You could have more than one of each but it is so delicious and filling that you probably won’t need more than that. The room was very clean a and well thought out. It boasted a full size fridge, small stove and oven and microwave. There were dishes, pots and utensils. The bed was king-size and very, very clean and comfortable, like lie and immediately melt comfortable. The blankets were heavy and warm. Two other blankets were available for use in the closet. The closet itself holds an iron and ironing board, hangers and two drawers as well as a programmable safe. The shower was clean and modern with a rain-type shower head and a wand. Something that I’ve seen in other Elements (Edmonton/Calgary) is a bidet and wish they had this option here but not necessary. This is the first bathroom in ANY hotel I’ve been in where the water from the shower didn’t end up outside the shower. It is a newer hotel and it is noticeable. Still, it is also a very busy hotel since they house tourists, firefighters helping out with the forest fires, as well as many construction workers in to capitalize on the booming construction industry that is Bend. This hotel has a decent gymnasium and pool with hot tub. They also rent single-speed bikes which seem heavily used as their tires are a bit flat-topped but are belt driven to make them quiet, clean and trouble-free. Since the hotel is near the downtown area, they are a nice way to travel and look around on nice days. Lastly, they offer outdoor and indoor sitting areas which are comfortable and relatively quiet. The outdoor seating offers the choice of comfortable outdoor mini sofas around a gas-lit hearth or tables and chairs under umbrellas and heaters. I don’t have photos but will try to borrow my wife’s to add to this review. Do yourself a favour and stay here. You’ll enjoy the slower pace and clean amenities.

Finally, we stayed here. There are 4 EV chargers. The location near DT bend and a park across and next to Fairfield inn. We didn't experience any noise from rail train nearby. The breakfast is not many choices, but it was great. We did have to wait a bit for hot breakfast because they made it per order. Service when we checked in was great ( 2 young guys), but not so much when we checked out. The young lady seems new and does not have long experience as a front desk. The pool was great, huge and hot tub. They heat the pool room so you didn't freeze when you came out. Request a higher level but got our room for impairment person and it was on 1st level with high ceiling. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing that bother us is the toilet flush so loud. It's a vacuum system like in the airplane. Overall, we love our stay.

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! I can not say enough great things about this hotel! First and foremost was the service! Everyone we talked to working there was super friendly and helpful. They treated our 2 daughters so fantastic and were so upbeat and friendly to them. The breakfast in the morning was a great selection and the pancake bar was fantastic! The double queen room was clean and spacious. The hotel itself was clean and modern! Close to downtown with a small park across the street. Pool and hot tub were clean and well taken care of. We will definitely be back and recommend to anyone visiting Bend! Great job and keep up the good work!

This is a very new property. I like the lobby design. It's bright, spacious and very inviting. The courtyard is also very functional. The studio room looked brand new and well equipped. The hotel is located close to the downtown center where there are many great restaurants. The complementary breakfast offered on the spot chef cooking. Finally the staff were friendly and helpful. In all, my wife and I had a great stay.

Great hotel!!! We have stayed there multiple times since our son moved to Bend. Clean, modern and well priced. Easy free parking. The manager-Eric Stone- takes great care of the place. One morning, my wife was disappointed that there were no bananas. Next thing we see Eric coming in with fresh, ripe bananas! He had run out to the grocery store and picked up bananas! They have a fun happy hour M-Th with draft beer, wine, and cheese and crackers in the lobby. The courtyard in the center is a nice place to hang out. It’s a great location— 5-10 minute walk into the heart of downtown. Tons of restaurants there !

This Hotel is literally one of the BEST Hotels I have stayed in the last two years. From arrival to departure. The Staff was welcoming, friendly and warm. KUDOS to SAM, EMMA & MIAMI!! The Dynamic TRIO! I work in the service industry and these three GREAT Element Staff Members were amazing. The Element is very lucky to have them as part of their crew. Thank You -Jet (Ronald) Hyland

Great hotel, a must stop. We would have stayed longer but we were driving through. The front office staff is very courteous and really helpful! I accidentally left a sweatshirt hoodie and a ball cap in the room We stopped on the way home and the housekeeping manager had it nicely wrapped in plastic so thankful and so kind!! We will definitely stay here again when we're driving up to Yakima!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Element Bend! The room was spotless and the breakfast was everything! They had a chef that made breakfast tacos (they were fantastic), the staff was kind and amazing! This will definitely be our go to stop from now on.

Pros: The room is very nice. The staff are friendly. Cons: 1. We weren’t told that there was a $55 pet fee. They had us sign a waiver, which lists the fee somewhere inside, but didn’t tell us about the fee. We had just finished traveling all day, and didn’t see the section with the fee in that waiver. We really should have been told…. Waking up to a surprise fee doesn’t feel good. 2. Reviewers are raving about the breakfast. As far as hotels go, it is definitely good, but it’s still a hotel breakfast so just keep that in mind.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Rooms and bed were very comfortable. They have a little frig to keep drinks and leftovers. For being next to the bypass freeway, it was very quiet. We had a nice, healthy breakfast in the morning. It looks like they have loaner bikes, but we didn't get to try them. Overall a nice stay in a good location. It's a 12 minute walk to the north edge of downtown.

Loved this hotel. My room was amazing it had a kitchen and lots of space and please don't get me started on the shower. It's a cool chic hotel, bikes to rent for free and great location. Definitely can't wait to return.

Highly recommend this hotel to travelers. This was such a great experience. The room was like a small apartment and we didn't have a suite. Very spacious. Very clean. Super accommodating. And breakfast I. The morning! Great staff!

For some background context- I’ve been coming here for 5 years…. I show up at 8pm to check in and Nate, the guy working the front desk showed no empathy on this situation. He said “we oversold on rooms just like an airline company” So- you’re telling me that i paid for this room in advance (hypothetically) if i never showed up they would have charged my card AND sell my hotel room to someone else making double profit??! This is OBSURD i have never heard of something like this especially from a luxury hotel. To top it off another hotel guest who also paid in advance came in and they sold his room too!!!! After a 12 hour work day driving from Portland i stood in the hotel lobby waiting forty minutes waiting for Nate to book me a hotel room. He offered switching me to “My Place” and i stayed there once for work and did not feel comfortable, the hotel was not up to date the rooms echoed and people were slamming the doors all throughout the night. I choose Marriott hotels for obvious reasons and when a fair hotel switch wasn’t offered i was frustrated. After forty minutes standing in the lobby waiting, Nate did not confirm what hotel i was staying - i drove out of pure exhaustion and went to the wrong hotel. By this time it’s 9:30 im beyond tired at this point and stayed there. The lady at this hotel saw i was physically in distress and offered me a water and snack something that i expected Element to do but didn’t. She mentioned that she was surprised that Element would sell my room and that “they should be held by higher standards” because it’s a very nice hotel. She confirmed that this situation was not normal and the treatment was unjust. I am very upset with this hotel and hope this doesn’t happen to you..
