It's a 2 star hotel in a nice location. If you like walking it's excellent. The river trail across the street either goes into town or away from town depending on which way you go. Our room was a little small but comfortable. The beds and bedding were good, everything clean. Staff were nice. Free breakfast in the morning. The gym is kind of tiny and I don't like the cardio equipment, both treadmill belts are loose. The dumbells and bench were good. The exercise room was too hot and stuffy, according to the American College of Sports Medicine it should not be above 68 degrees. This place gets the job done. If you want something nicer try the Element next door.

Rooms were very clean, friendly check in. Avoid staying in rooms facing the highway. Coffee in room along with small fridge. Small pool, ordinary breakfast, Toiletry were the giant size pumps, no traditional normal individual shampoo and conditioners. Good water pressure, shower drained very slow, clogged. Nice size parking spots.

Short business trip to Bend, so needed somewhere central and comfortable to stay while there. The Marriott hotels have usually been my first choice and this one didn't disappoint. Nice rooms, great service, location was tucked away, and not over priced. I enjoyed a nice breakfast while getting some work done in the common area.

Very nice woman working at front counter upon check in. This hotel has been drastically updated in lobby and hallways. Rooms are similar to before with new paint, showers and carpet. Close to downtown. Across from pioneer park . Short walk to the river and downtown bend. Quiet for sleeping. Good continental breakfast. Great atmosphere. Would stay again.

They will lock you out of your room before youre checked out if you have a late checkout time. Very douchey. Dont recommend this place unless you want to be in your pjs in the hallway having to beg staff to let you back in your room that you paid for.

Location was almost perfect. Lil North of downtown. So you have to walk.a bit to get to things south.... honestly downtown is enough... but there is still more fun and drinks south.

I had a very nice stay. Only problem was sometimes there was no one at the front desk when I needed something, but I understand that they often are only one person needing to be in multiple places at the same time. Still, at 3am when I was locked out of the hotel because my card wouldn't unlock the door and there was no one at the front desk to hear me laying on the buzzer... That was the low point of my stay. The rest was all good. Very helpful staff who pointed me towards the best sunrise in Bend, sunsets, tacos, BBQ, beer selection and a few other recommendations I asked for. The rooms were the nicest I have ever stayed in.

Very nice staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Serve yourself breakfast. A beautiful park across the street to stretch your legs. Very easy access back onto highway.

One of the worst hotel experiences I've had in a long time. Hair folded into the bath towel when I opened one I had not touched since checking in. Asked the front desk to hold my bag so could I explore after check out but before heading to the airport. They acted like I was out of my mind and were so rude about this very normal hotel ask. Even more rude when I went back to get it and said "oh THIS bag" with such disgust, very annoyed I made them look up from their phone they would clearly rather be playing with than helping customers. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.

The rooms were really nice, and really well decorated! Especially the bathrooms. They also have good breakfast options. As well as a little corner market that you can but snacks, meals, and beverages from. The corner market is a little pricy though.

Great stay overall. Room was clean, everyone was very friendly, breakfast was excellent. Location was very convenient right off the highway with downtown just a few blocks away. Highly recommend!

Was wrongfully charged $20, when I called to sort it out I got charged an additional $40, so $60 total. Rep told me it’s not that much money why am I worried. It took about 8 phone calls & 3 weeks to get the charges reversed. Such a headache - the disrespect & length of the ordeal left a terrible taste in my mouth.

We never go wrong staying at a Marriott property. The beds are always comfy and as a loyal customer we get some extra perks. Marriott is the place to stay.

Both Kendra and Claudia were awesome staff members. The rooms were clean and it was easy to connect to the T.V. with Netflix. We just stopped on the way through Oregon and it was in a convenient location.

Excellent location for our visit. Quite a lovely hotel. Don't need service, but the front desk was very nice. And a Tesla destination charger for the complete win.

The fridge in our room was not very usable, did not have a shelf.. The breakfast was not bad No designated pet area or bags. If there was we were not given that information. Great location We would stay there again

Place is modern, new, fresh & clean. Sweet, smiling, warm & welcoming personality at front desk. Quiet rooms, good water pressure in shower, good coffee in lobby, standard grab n go breakfast but not bad. I miss the days of "make your own waffles" at Fairfield inns.

Five stars does not adequately recognize such a nice property and excellent staff. (Lifetime Platinum Elite -- I spend a lot of nights in hotels.) This Marriott property is proof that even during a pandemic, a hotel can still provide excellent service and take care of guests. Management here is not blaming Covid for a lack of amenities or service. Housekeeping is still "on request", but it is available when so many hotels keep charging the same rate but have eliminated housekeeping services. Really nice check in. Breanna was great! Although flying solo at the front desk -- and busy -- she took care of everyone as efficiently as possible. Nice property! Since Fairfield is one of the older Marriott brands, many of the properties are tired and in need of a remodel. Fairfield Bend Downtown made that investment three years ago and it shows; a bright, clean parking lot and building with lots of nice touches for a mid-range hotel. Electric bikes available, a 24/7 gym, really nice pool and spa area, business center, etc. The ice machine was missing on the first floor but hopefully that is temporary. Rooms are nice. Mine was arranged in a way that usually disruptive light from the hallway was not an issue. Wow! An uninterrupted sleep. I used the laundry facilities and was surprised they did not accept coins. I love technology but the laundry machine credit card readers were a little balky. I had to try a number of times to make them connect and operate. Minor issue -- especially when the hotel offers complimentary laundry supplies. A very thoughtful idea! Breakfast was pretty standard, pre-made items. But the mini quiche and omelets are a nice change considering the limited offerings at some hotels.
