The
hotel
was
clean
and
the
décor
was
nice.
Our
hotel
room
was
clean
and
well
stocked
my
issue
with
this
hotel
was
access
issues
with
my
service
dog
and
being
charged
a
pet
cleaning
fee
even
though
I
shouldn't
have
been.
They
allow
pets
which
is
fine,
but
the
first
issue
we
had
was
when
we
went
downstairs
for
breakfast.
The
waitress
said
pets
weren't
allowed
in
the
dining
area.
When
I
said
my
dog
wasn't
a
pet,
she's
a
service
animal
the
waitress
went
and
got
her
manager
who
repeated
dogs
weren't
allowed
because
they
were
a
tripping
hazard?
My
service
dog
is
trained
to
tuck
under
tables
out
of
the
way.
She
doesn't
walk
around
trying
to
interact
with
other
patrons
or
staff
members
at
the
restaurant,
her
focus
is
on
me
and
being
out
of
the
way.
I
told
them
they
were
being
recriminatory
towards
a
disabled
person
and
they
had
to
allow
me
to
sit
at
a
restaurant
per
ADA
law.
They
finally
agreed
but
only
if
we
sat
at
the
very
corner
of
the
restaurant
and
proceeded
to
rush
us
through
the
meal.
It's
already
a
lot
having
a
disability
but
being
denied
service
due
to
me
needing
my
medical
equipment
(I.E.
the
dog)
was
disgusting.
I
understand
a
lot
of
people
like
to
say
their
pet
is
a
service
dog
when
it
clearly
has
had
no
training,
is
a
disruption
to
the
public
and
a
nuisance.
But
if
you
see
a
dog
in
service
gear
acting
appropriately
and
focused
on
their
handler
please
don't
assume
their
a
fake.
The
cherry
on
top
was
being
charged
a
pet
cleaning
fee
which
per
ADA
"Can
hotels
charge
a
cleaning
fee
for
guests
who
have
service
animals?
A:
No.
Hotels
are
not
permitted
to
charge
guests
for
cleaning
the
hair
or
dander
shed
by
a
service
animal.
However,
if
a
guest’s
service
animal
causes
damages
to
a
guest
room,
a
hotel
is
permitted
to
charge
the
same
fee
for
damages
as
charged
to
other
guests."
Might
I
suggest
reading
the
laws
before
treating
disabled
people
like
this.
Very
disappointed
and
will
not
be
returning.
