Solid 3.5 Star stay. I rounded up to be generous. The bad: Breakfast looks a lot better on the website and in the images provided by the location. It wasn't bad, but it was all prepackaged. Pretty limited in my opinion. I didn't see the outdoor area with the fire open during our stay. Might have just not been when we were there. It would have been nice to hang out by the fire pit displayed in the property provided images. The parking fee, which in their defense I was aware of, is a little ridiculous. $10 isn't much but there isn't anywhere in Bend that I think justifies a parking fee of any kind. The price seems to be high ($340/night). Double what I've paid in Portland and Seattle. Maybe due to the holiday. Does not seem to be an outlier among Bend properties though. I guess supply v demand. The AC in the room is an older style, and quite loud. Kind of weird given the rest of the hotel seems very modern. If you like firm pillows bring your own! Hotel apparently only has the softest of pillows. The good: The hotel was very clean, the room large, and the beds comfortable. Plenty of areas to lounge around the property. Staff was very nice too. The location is also pretty good. The property is near a few restaurants, breweries, bars, etc that are all within a few minutes walk. We found it was a good base for John Day and Crater Lake.

The room was ok, but adding 10 bucks for parking, when you can't get there without a car is garbage!! I will use other hotels in the area that don't try adding fees to the simplest things like parking!! More importantly I am a disabled person with a blue disabled placard that I used to park, yet I was still charged for parking. Never have I ever been charged for handicapped parking!! I'm not even sure that it's legal to charge for those parking places.

We stayed just before Christmas. The bar is good, it's centrally located for local shopping and touristy stuff. Traffic isn't bad and it's a 2 block walk from a grocery store in case your pregnant wife says she wants something super obscure at 10pm at night. Only thing that was a disappointment was our room didn't have a tub so she could get a nice deep tub soak which she was looking forward to. Not sure whose fault it is, but unlimited hot shower was a decent compensation... would have been nice to have a deep soaking tub though...

Very nice hotel within east walking distance of a number of brew pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was surprisingly good. The room was a nice size and the bed pretty comfortable. The obsidian flows and High Desert Museum are within convenient driving distance. We’d definitely stay here the next time we’re in Bend.

Phenomenal experience. Stayed with a friend in a double Queen room and it was large and beautiful. Great sitting areas in the room and the bathroom was large and well designed. Coffee all day in the lobby was tasty and nice complimentary breakfast. Large lobby with kind staff. Self parking is $10 a night. Would recommend especially for such a reasonable price. 10/10

This place in a great spot for the concert venue. The place is clean and the free breakfast is awesome. Clean rooms and tons of charging areas in the rooms. The show is nice and the bed was medium firm. Great stay.

New property convenient to most everything in Bend. Spotless and comfortable rooms, great breakfast and excellent service. Will definitely stay here again when in Bend.

Great location. We pretty much parked our car at check in and drove it the last day. Walking distance to Downtown and old mill district. Restaurant and food trucks across the street and next door. There’s even a supermarket within walking distance. Rooms are clean and have sofa bed, walk in closet, microwave and refrigerator. Parking is $10 day. There’s even Tesla chargers in back of the hotel. Swimming pool is an indoor one but the river is closeby. Such a great hotel.

"Perfectly located for exploring Bend, Sisters, Crater Lake, and beyond, SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Bend Oregon is a gem. Impeccable service, spacious rooms, and modern amenities, walking distance to good restaurants / bars, it will make for a delightful stay. Highly recommended for an unforgettable Central Oregon adventure!"

Two of our bikes got stolen here because of this hotel's choices. The genius of SpringHill Suites decided to position their bike racks in the least lit area in the back parking lot. Their second brilliant decision was to have zero exterior cameras to even get a description of who stole the bikes. Like what type of commercial building has zero exterior camera especially at the back of the building. And just to be clear these bikes weren't sitting outside for multiple days just waiting to be stolen, they were double locked to the bike rack for less the 16 hours. Unbelievable how many poor decisions this hotel made.

This review is more a rant than anything. The hotel was real nice and the room was great, however, we booked a King room and was told they oversold the king rooms and because we booked through a third party, we were lucky to still be on the property.... my advice... if you are planning on staying here during a busy event, (Jelly Roll concert for us) then book on the Marriott website otherwise you will get screwed...

Newer facility in a great location to walk and enjoy some food and drink. Rooms are modern and oversized. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast is just ok. I was surprised that there was a $10/night parking charge. Feel like that was unnecessary and just another way to get a few more dollars out of you.

Loved the vibe and location! Our room was spotless with a cozy feel. The staff was great in providing recommendations. Location was perfect with a food truck court within walking distance and a grocery store just up the road. Wish we had more time to spend at this location, but it was just a quick stop on a long family road trip.

The room was very nice, comfortable, with a pleasing design. I only had two issues with my stay. 1. All the power outlets near the bed were non functioning. 2. The breakfast option was meh - the oatmeal being the best choice. Other than those two, my stay was great.

The rooms were wonderful and the place was beautiful. My only issue was because my boyfriend and I booked through a 3rd party our room type was not guaranteed. The 3rd party did not tell us this and the hotel did not tell this until we went and asked why we weren't in the room we paid for. We paid over $300 and we were down graded from what we paid for. The only reason we picked this hotel was for the king sized room. If we wanted a queen we could have stayed somewhere else for a lot cheaper. Everything else was fine but just beware if you are booking through a 3rd party.

Pre arranged room. Spoke with Shift Manager about assistance animal. Arrived late early morning. Manager On Duty refused said assistance animal. Very rude. I don’t recommend.

Stunning rooms! Wonderful service and a fantastic bar I would highly recommend staying here! You’re so close to everything and walking distance to some great shopping, food, and drinks!

Clean hotel, nice location but $10 a day to park is BS! We never saw the charge until we checked in. There are spaces everywhere, and that with half of the lot ripped up while they install charging stations. Double check this bogus parking charge before you stay.

Absolute perfection when it comes to the rooms layout and setup. Comfortable bed. Blackout curtains. The bathroom doors a self soft close sliding barn door style which is real cool in my opinion.. only negative I'd give is the bathroom floor looks like it hasn't been properly mopped/wiped down very well. I used to clean rooms so I look for these kinds of things other than that top notch 👍💯

They have a bar to watch sports but the servers were insanely rude and yells at its patrons for being to loud. They actually requested us to clean tables(NOT OUR OWN) and put chairs back that we didn't move. Not kid friendly at all. They threatened the kids and told them they couldn't go to each other rooms. For a business and place to stay for families I would not recommend at all. Absolutely the worst Marriott I have stayed at.

Best Marriott hotel location in Bend if you are looking for a basic room. When traveling alone this is my go to spot. Not a ton of room type options. Breakfast is good enough. Staff is great. Charging $10 for parking is my only real complaint. I’d rather pay $10 extra in my room rate than know I’m paying for parking, which is something they started in 2020.

This facility is great, has pool, fitness, Breakfast, etc. Great location near old mill district and the river. All great except the receptionist... maybe she was having an off day, but she was more unhelpful than the usual Marriott feel. But not enough to keep me from.coming back. Great overall experience.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a great area with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Our one complaint is that our first room had a vent through which we could hear people in another room very loudly. Their conversation was so loud it sounded like they were in the room with us. We complained at the front desk and they said this is a normal problem. For the price you have to pay for a room here it seems like they should fix this problem. Thankfully we were helped by Char who was very kind and she managed to find us another room that didn't have this problem. I'd be afraid to stay here again though because with that noise level I would have a really hard time sleeping. Also, the included breakfast was nice, but it would be good if they had a few more options for people who can't eat gluten or dairy. I fixed myself some oatmeal and managed to find oat milk by the coffee station but there weren't any other options that I could eat.

Mattresses are mushy and pillows are marshmallows. Live band plays less than 100 feet from windows late into the night. Complaints were met with “nothing we can do about it” response. “Hot Breakfast” is processed food kept “hot” in plastic (think 7-Eleven). “Waffles” are saturated in sugar and in plastic. Nothing fresh to eat. Bar not open even though it is advertised to be open everyday. Housekeeping service is upon request and then ignored.

Great location. The building is very nice and the lobby is cozy. The beds are extremely firm and left my back aching. The staff complained about guests in front of us while making fun of them. The breakfast is advertised to be available until 9:30am. We arrived at breakfast at 8:45 and was left with soggy eggs, 2 pieces of sausage floating in a bath of oil, no waffles, no oatmeal, no bread products. The only things left were yogurt and cereal. When we asked the staff member attending to the breakfast area if more food would ve coming out, we got a blank stair and a simple "no" before she returned to scrolling on her phone. Another guest asked about getting a piece of fruit and the attendant said "no, you should have been down here earlier. We have what we have unless it runs out earlier". Definitely below typical Mariott standards.
