Massive chaotic sprawl offering everything you might want from a post-soviet market other than livestock. There are old ladies selling piles of Russian salads, huge jars of pickles, dried fruits and nuts and weird berries. There are warrens of tiny stalls where you can buy chainsaws, light bulbs, rolling pins, winter coats or toys that look like they'll either burst into games or lead-poison you if you give them a second glance. Brilliant.
