Never disappoints. Very conveniently located near the tourist attractions. Staff are attentive and tables are cleaned proactively. Bakery foods taste nice and the coffees are strong and tasty.

oh yum, long drive from the city to bendigo, they right in the corner of the street, plenty of parking, look pretty chill. maybe it’s monday so a little bit quiet. so many sweet , such as donut, cake, cookie, and other savoury thing like pie, sandwiches etc. try the sandwich are pretty great, perfect portion, good for lunch, also a place to chill and relax. like it

Dropped by this place today to have a nice meat pie. Service was good , the steak and potato pie was a real let down , 70 % potato.. where is the chunky steak for God sake!! Paid $8 for a handful.of potatoes. Get your act together, pie was dry and tasteless. The custard tart on the other hand $5 was what I expected. Prices are a little on the high side. I'm still hungry

Fabulous, love this place. Atmosphere is great, staff are on point and the baked goods of the highest quality. I recommend the Bushman's pasty! And the French Vanilla Slice. And the coffee. Call in. You won't be sorry.

It's a great local bakery. We enjoyed their hot chocolate, flat white coffee, biscuits, and eclairs.

Went here on Friday for our day trip to Bendigo. We went in at 12pm and it was starting to get busy with people queuing inside but the wait wasn’t too long. I ordered the Vanilla Slice and Potato and Steak pie for $11. Both were delicious, there was plenty of seats inside and outside. Lots of savory and sweet options. There are a few Beechworth Bakeries in Victoria so definitely visit one if your nearby

Nice open area for a stop off. Pies were nice but the coffee was badly made. Water glasses were also not cleaned, still with past mouth marks and coffee down the side

Had a lovely lunch with dessert. The beesting was very nice. Ned Kelly pie was great. Snickerdoodle also tasty. Generous with the free tomato sauce. Was a tad disappointed that the bottomless coffee was packs of instant coffee. I thought it would be the percolated coffee. Bit sad about that as I got excited with a voucher picked up from Bendigo for a free coffee. Plenty of parking on a weekend late lunch. Fantastic customer service.

Stopped in here a couple of weeks back for a coffee. Found the store to be conviently located. Good parking. The service was friendly and didn't have to wait too long. Plenty different products to choose from. The coffee was very good as well as the hot chocolate, we ordered. Well worth a stop.

Pies and pasties and sausage rolls were nice not really spectacular but I would buy them again. Sadly the jelly slice was like rubber not enjoyable, coffee was nice.

First time here and many people recommending it coming through Bendigo. Lives up to the name I must say. Had a Beechworth steak pie and a cheese, bacon and egg toastie. The egg and cheese in the toastie was perfect, bacon could have been spread out further but still was very good. Pie was good, had some nice textures to it. Also, very friendly service and CLEAN interior.

Good place to have a breakfast or lunch. There are so many option that you can order. I ordered one mushsteak pie and beesting. The pie is really good. I wanted order beechworth pie but it already sold out.. (I visited on Sun around 12:30pm) However, mushsteak was very delicious too! Beesting was okay.. but not recommend. The custard cream tasty was like processed food taste.

I Usally love a good pie from Beechworth bakery, I’ve been to many like in Healesville, Ballarat and Bright Service is Usally very attentive and quick However Bendigo was a bit different, when I got served the man had no smile or greeting, just “hi what can I get you” I ordered a Cuben focaccia which I thought is a quick thing to order and prepare but holy moly From ordering it to receiving it took 24 minutes, if it was a fancy restaurant I’d understand as full meals take a while but this is a pre prepared sandwhich. When I received the focaccia the taste was good but it seemed like the person that prepped it had Parkinson’s? The tomatos were about an inch on one side and on the other side it went down to paper thin, if you can’t cut a tomato straight I would say get a mandolin slicer. The salami and all other fillings were tasty and bread had a good crunch. Overall not the best experience for a simple lunch food, for the inconvenience of having to wait so long they gave us a custard donut which mind you was delicious and was nice of the bakery which they didn’t need to do. I can recommended to train your staff in time management and how to prep for rushes as when watching only two staff members seemed to know what they were doing. When we went up asking where the food was the baker lady we dealt with was very nice so props to her. P.S their slogan is “worth the drive” definitely not the Bendigo one though.

I have always loved this place for a quick bite, but now I have the chance to sit and relax with a lovely coffee and very pleasant company whilst my car is being repaired, you force me to eat from a cardboard plate??? What the actual??? I ask for a plate and was told we only have the cardboard trays. How special to be treated like a 12 year old. I did however appreciate the ceramic saucer under my coffee mug??? Strange that you feel this is OK. If I wanted to eat out of cardboard I would have gone to Maccas. Bring back the plates people. We are all grown ups here and would rather you wash the same dish a thousand times than throw away all that cardboard!!!! Good coffee though. Thanks.

Went here for a quick lunch. Was very surprised at the huge variety. Pricing was very reasonable and the quality of the food was absolutely amazing. Huge range of desserts and bakery goods, fresh pies and sausage rolls, healthy wraps, rolls with meat and salad and also coffee and drinks. Huge amount of seating so you won't have any problem finding somewhere to sit down with your family either indoor or outdoor.

Plenty of favourites on offer here. It was raining the proverbial cats and dogs here in Bendigo and we decided on something quick for lunch. Queues for service were pretty long but moving at this very popular bakery. The staff were friendly and professional. They also had good attention to detail when it came to taking the orders. I had a Cornish pastie which was just excellent. Another purchase, to share, was the advertised ‘famous’ Beesting. I am unsure if the one we were given was as it should be, but we couldn’t cut it in half as the top was very thick and hard like toffee. The pastry (?) was also very chewy. I don’t think I’d have another based on this one. That said, I/we would return to try other products though. You can eat inside or out at this bakery. Thanks to the team.

Walked passed during Sunset last night and thought I’d drop in for Breaky. Friendly service and great food. Lots of nice looking cake options Highly recommended for somewhere to drop in for Breaky or Lunch, or to grab a tasty treat to take on your trip.
