Breakfast bowl and berry smoothie were delicious. It’s a bit loud and busy but if you don’t mind that the food is great! (Service is still quick)

This is a great place for breakfast /lunch as well as their fabulous coffee. We decided on the Malaysian Laksa (maybe a temporary special?) and the Middle Eastern Roti and I can tell you that we found them to be delicious,well presented and reasonably priced. Their coffee is fabulous and the service is very welcoming despite the fact that staff shortages/illnesses have slowed service a little. Great place, highly recommended.

Amazing customer service There was a confusion with my order and I had a longer wait time (didn’t mind this at all) and the staff refunded my order and gave me the coffees for free. This was not needed at all!! Tried to give them the money back and they refused! Amazing service during a difficult time. Plus the coffees always taste amazing ❤️

I guess we all have our favourite place where we get our coffee, especially that important one, first thing in the morning. The place I go is the Old Green Bean Cafe, 179 Lyttleton Terrace, Bendigo. The coffee is aromatic, full flavoured and smooth, a nice heart starter to kick off the day. I have found the team are friendly, professional and prompt. The meals here are delicious and healthy too. You can eat in the café, which has a welcoming atmosphere, or take away. Well worth a visit.

Excellent Cafe! 10/10. The coffee was so good and the food as well. I usually go for two coffees, but I ended up having three 😱. If you’re in Bendigo and after brunch, this venue is a perfect choice. It would be a good idea to write the calories on the menu.

Absolutely amazing and well balanced food. Your renditions of ordinary food become so much more exciting to devour. Exceptional service even though it was a busy afternoon. Absolute pleasure to have dined here and will definitely come back in the near future. Thank you for a great experience.

Very disappointing. We love going there but today might be the last time for a while. It used to be our go to but I’m off them after today. The weekend is the busiest time of week yet the place still turns away service just so the staff can finish on time. I often work until 1pm Saturdays and am looking for a cafe to go to for lunch afterwards. (I’m not the only person in Bendigo who this affects) On the website it says closes at 2pm….. we rock in at 1:15 (mid day) to grab a table and a quick feed/ coffee and we get turned away saying they don’t take anyone in after 1:10pm. This is an absolute joke. Today they turned away 3 others in front of us and then my partner and myself. That’s 5 more people they could’ve taken. It’s peak lunch time and they are turning people away. (Even when the place is super quiet and have tons of tables available). Terrible way to run a business! I was fuming today. We then went to another cafe and they welcomed us in, said they shut at 2pm as-well but happy to take our order straight away. We were in an out within 30 minutes. Fed, had coffee and great service. Polar opposite to what we experience ALL THE TIME at old green bean. If you shut at 1pm then change your website and don’t advertise you shut at 2.

Food looked good, looking forward to trying more that they offer. Service was excellent, very attentive staff and friendly. Atmosphere was very new age, very Melbourne. I'd go back for the coffee and food but don't expect anything over the top, in my opinion it's nothing special just a good place to grab a feed and a coffee.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Yummy coffee. The little area out the front with blankets and milk crates is cool and great for kids if they’re not the type to run off as soon as you turn your back because it’s close to the road.

I always look forward to eating here whenever I come to Bendigo. The food is absolutely delicious - especially in relation to vegetarian and vegan options. The staff are lovely and friendly and your meal and/or coffee is delivered to your table quickly. I absolutely love this place!

Very high quality breakfast. Looks much nicer there in person. The venue should add more photos to show how nice it is.

Classic country cafe that does brunch right!

Fantastic food and coffee in a beautiful setting with shady trees outside and parking. Staff are amazing; warm and friendly.

Perfect service at every level. Farmers breaky was just awesome, and a great spinach-based reinterpretation on the old dish that I had here previously. Coffee was great... could have had 5 of them. The mushroom toastie is one of the best toasties out... I could/would eat one every day.

Best cold brew coffee I've had (outside of Melbourne😂), and the food was absolutely fantastic as well! Super friendly staff and a wonderful community vibe. The build your own breakfast was awesome and very good value, I'll be telling anyone I know who is heading to Bendigo to stop in and have a coffee and feed!

Great and interesting food. We found the worst aspect of the whole experience was deciding what to order - too many mouth-watering choices! Great coffee, refreshing juices.

Nice vibes in the place. Good and tasty food too. Let down on my chai. I ordered extra hot but got lukewarm and my food wasnt as hot. Loved it though
