Visited on a Sunday in Jan 2024 . It is located in the ground floor of the Forum Rex walk . The main entrance is actually from the Rest House Road . We were seated immediately on the outside as we had got in before 1 pm . Benjamin was in charge of our table and gave us excellent recommendations for our mild spice palette . Tried two different drinks - the one with the pomegranate and mandarin and the other with the watermelon, both of which were nice without being frozen in ice 🧊. The starters were very good , the small plates Lotus stem fried was an excellent munchy! We sampled the Burmese stir fry along with the dry noodles and turmeric laced fried rice . Service was very good and not rushed ( even for a Sunday afternoon, though as we were ending the meal one could see a few minor delays ) . My first time eating at a Burma Burma- the last time at the Indiranagar outlets was to sample only the teas ! . I look forward to enjoying their outlet in the Mall of Asia which is closer home ! . Overall excellent Sunday afternoon experience .

Burma Burma is one of my favorite restaurants in Bengaluru. I recently visited their new outlet in Forum Rex Walk, Brigade Road with an expectation to try out some of my favorite dishes, but to my surprise, this new outlet just amazed me in every possible way. Starting from the enchanting ambiance with soothing color combinations, wall paintings, Burmese decor items, indoor plants, etc - every nook and corner of this restaurant is picture friendly. When it comes to Burmese cuisine, it may look so simple, but every dish comes with a burst of flavors. This new outlet has so many new additions to their menu and the team behind Burma Burma has carefully curated those dishes. My fictitious culinary journey to Burma started with a bowl of 'Mohinga Noodle soup'. The veg version of their National dish was simply amazing. Pey Pey's Guava Salad had an interesting take on the guava +chilli combination. The flavors are so unique and you will crave more, soon after the first bite. Another interesting and favorite dish from the menu was Semolina and hemp-seed crusted 'Crunchy Shiitake fingers' served with a creamy cashew and smoked Bandel cheese dip. Edamame and Broad bean hummus served with Balachaung stuffed peppers and naan (similar to pita bread) added a rich mouthfeel. For the main course, I had the classic 'Khow Suey'  which is easily one of the best you get in the city. It comes with various accompaniments and this herb-infused coconut milk with noodles and vegetables is a complete meal by itself. I love White tea with Burmese food and it was a visual treat for us when they brewed this special tea. I enjoyed their Wild Berry Bubble tea and to enjoy the tapioca pearls in Bubble tea, one has to use a slightly bigger straw. They surprised us by giving us straw made of rice. For desserts, the Street style Burmese Falooda reminded me of the Thai dessert, 'Tub Tim Krob' and this one had balanced flavors. My favorite dessert, 'Pineapple Energee' with different versions of pineapple in one dessert, and the fav part which tasted like Pineapple upside down cake with a scoop of Pineapple ice cream and brown butter crumble was simply a heavenly affair. I am sure, I will try this again soon at Burma Burma.

I’m truly impressed with such a wide vegetarian menu. Not sure if i ever seen one that versatile. My recommendations in pics below. Mind they don’t have a European plugs (i needed to charge my laptop), they don’t do meat. But definitely worth exploring.

Burma Burma - top rated vegetarian restaurant in the town. After so many failed attempts. Finally, We visited their newly opened brigade road branch. We ordered their Iconic samosa soup with mixed feelings but the outcome was mind-blowing. It looks simple but tasted delicious. starters - chaap skewers with sweet chilli dip was average. For main course - We ordered red chilli fried rice paired with Tofu & lotus stem curry bowl. It was flavour blast in our mouth. I would recommend to try the above combo. The Burma signature “Khow suey” was super filling but felt so heavy with coconut milk. The ambience of the place was next level with outdoor seating so vibrant. Special mention to the service. It was top notch ! We had one fine dining experience.

Excellent place for pure vegetarian Burmese food. Superb ambience. Table reservations are not available but there is definitely a wait time owing to its huge popularity. We had Crisp Fried Lotus Stems, Banana Flower Croquettes with Kokum Crème, Water Chestnuts Tofu and Lotus Stems Stir Fry and Uncle Maung’s Chilli garlic Noodles. A bit on the expensive side plus they have a 10% Service Charge.

India’s only specialty Burmese restaurant got a fancy makeover, not only in terms of ambiance but also the menu. The exquisite interiors pay tribute to Burmese culture and has a premium touch. Coming to the food, I bet you would be blown away with the depth of innovation done by the team, both in terms of concoction of ingredients and the presentation as well. Even after visiting the 1st outlet multiple times, this visit felt like we are having a complete different cuisine altogether. It’s ironical that this flavourful cuisine is unexplored, but I am glad to discover this one which hits the bulls eye in all possible forms. A must must try !!!!

Great place to try Asian cuisine as a whole. Their approach towards making Indian fusion food is to be appreciated. Tried Samosa soup along with KhowSuey and those were a delight. Only was bit disappointed with the dessert. Recommended!!!

Can't begin to rave about this place, and was pleasantly surprised to find something of this standard in Bengaluru! The atmosphere, the attention to detail and the well thought out menu was incredible. It was my first time trying Burma food (as a whole and in India no less) and might I say that I would come back in a heartbeat for the dessert which was spectacular (the Pineapple ice cream went well with the cake, and the chocolate ice cream with the olive oil drizzle was just phenomenal) Mains wise, not a huge fan but definitely worth a try. Loved the mango salad which was surprisingly refreshing and reminded me of Thai mango papaya salad. This place is a must go if you're around the artsy Church Street :)

Had been to this restaurant for a team outing. A pure veg restaurant with Ala Carte menu. They also have fixed menu one can choose from. Starting soup, the starters, nibbles, main course and desert was too good. In the fixed Silver menu you get a choice in desert and starter. Overall food was very good. The outing was a pleasant experience pepped up by the ambience which gives a soothing calmness. The samosa soup and the coconut milk desert is my favourite

Been to this restaurant multiple times. Excellent vegetarian food that vegetarian and even non-vegetarians will love. Very creative menu. The price is very high but still worth it. We tried many different items as we went a large group. Every item is tasty. The fried lotus stems starter is awesome. The bun starter is also very good The ambiance is excellent. Definitely worth talking Indians and even foreigners to this unusual good vegetarian restaurant. Highly recommend a visit

A much bigger, better Burma Burma than its Indiranagar predecessor. Ambience is very nice, and seating arrangements are very comfortable. Staff are highly courteous, and the desserts are to kill for. It is a must visit place with family and friends!!!!

Opened in May.. it did not disappoint me in terms of its interior or its platter.. Loved the bright, colourful and open ambience of this chain. The" Feel Good" term is what I want to use here. Seating arrangements were varied and one can choose what suits one best. The MENu can get one spoilt for choices.. each item has its own two liners.. or the staff is there to help you out.. The tea for a drink is also very refreshing.. and the bubble tea too.. Ohh. Since it is a vegetarian restaurant.. everything is made such.. Orders come in very fast.. and the portions are quite sufficient to fill one up.. but since it is not heavy in the tummy.. one can relish the left over portion in the dish again. Staff are friendly courteous and pleasant. Washroom though common is kept neat and clean Valet parking is available. PS:- Anup it was lovely seeing you here🙂

This place needs no introduction. It has been one of my favourites and recently I went to their newly opened outlet in the Rex mall. Firstly, the ambiance is absolutely stunning. Lovely corners and attention to detail can be seen etched in every inch of the place. Soon it was completely packed and there were a lot of families enjoying themselves. That being said, its a fabulous spot for couples as well. Coming to the drinks, we tried a few of their mocktails and also boba tea. I would recommend scarlet and smoked guava. If you want to try boba tea but milk doesnt suit the system, then go for the wild berry variant. Refreshing and just apt for the summers. In food, everything was good and appetizing, however, special mentions for pey pey guava salad, crunchy shittake fingers and charred broccoli with smoked cheese. Khao suey did the job in mains. Desserts were saffron and samosa cheesecake and street style Burmese falooda. Both the desserts looked fabulous. The mango sorbet that came with the cheesecake was just out of this world. I could devour several portions of that alone. Lastly, special shoutout to the amazing service. The staff was polite, attentive and quick despite being filled to capacity. Do take out some time and pay a well deserved visit. Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Burma Burma, a newly established restaurant located off Brigade Road. What sets this place apart is its focus on vegetarian cuisine accompanied by an extensive selection of beverages. One standout drink I tried was the wild berry bubble tea, which was truly delightful. For our appetizers, we opted for the salad sampler, which consisted of three distinct varieties. Each salad possessed its own unique flavor profile, and I must say, all three were truly delicious. The textures and combinations of ingredients were on point, making for a satisfying start to the meal. Moving on to the main course, we indulged in the pan-fried dumplings. They were perfectly cooked, with a delightful crunch at the bottom and a flavorful dressing that elevated the dish. Additionally, we ordered the tohu mash with parata. Although the portion size appeared small initially, it turned out to be surprisingly filling and packed with tasty goodness. The flavors in this dish were simply delightful. Overall, the dining experience at Burma Burma was exceptional. The meal, priced at approximately 1K per person, was worth every penny. The flavors were rich, the presentation was appealing, and the variety of options for vegetarians was impressive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying vegetarian meal in Brigade Road.

Burma Burma is one of my favorite restaurants in Bengaluru. They have recently opened a new branch in Forum Rexwalk. I visited the restaurant with a group of friends for lunch and had a fabulous experience with their food. To start my meal, I ordered the Crunchy Shittake Fingers, which were delightfully crispy and had an absolutely delicious taste, especially when paired with the dip. Trust me, their Pey Pey's Guava Salad is to die for. The freshness of the guava, combined with a hint of spiciness, left a lasting impression on my taste buds. Don't miss out on trying this salad when you visit. The bubble teas here are top-notch. I tried a couple of flavors and the wild berry one stood out the most. Moving on to the main course, I was highly impressed by their Khousuey. The dish boasted fresh ingredients, but the real star was the coconut milk curry. It added a rich and creamy flavor that elevated the dish to new heights. For dessert, I indulged in their Burmese Street Style Falooda, which happens to be my favorite. Make sure to visit this amazing restaurant and treat yourself to the culinary delights they have to offer.

They don't take bookings so landed up at 12 pm on sunday to skip the line. Entered 12.20 and in a flash the restaurant filled up. Warm soft colours , very nice ambiance and interiors ... Ordered - chocolate , mango raspberry bubble tea - soft chewey boba , Kumquat white tea kombucha , kumquat mojito Steamed buns - browned onion and chilli, brocolli and asparagus , lotus stem crisps , bbq jackfruit , banana flower croquettes Mains - tofu , water chestnut , lotus stem stir fry , burmese fried rice , china town noodles Desserts - black forest , avocado & honey , coconut panacotta. If there was a disappointment - that panacotta summed everything ... The dip with the croquettes was amazing . The stir fry had a sweet and spicy sauce that was surprisingly pairing well with both the noodles and rice ... Portion size of mains is quite adequate for 2+ eaters If you go post 1pm , prepare to wait , else skip the line and be there at 1230. Will def come back for more ...

Every food item we ordered here was great. Found a new love for vegetarian cuisine. The place is really great, the ambience was lovely. For starters we had Lotus Seed chips which was surprisingly really good and spring rolls. Then we had fried rice and noodles with a curry recommended by their staff and everything we ate this evening was a treat to our taste buds. For dessert we had rangoon baked milk with crushed rose petals. The presentation of serving the dessert was amazing and taste was just lovely. I am definitely visiting this gem of a restaurant again.

Step into a world of authentic Burmese flavors and enchanting ambiance at Burma Burma's second branch, Burma Burma Tea Room, Forum Rex walk! As a lover of their first location, I was thrilled to explore their new space and indulge in their tantalizing dishes once again. The wild be berry bubble tea was a burst of fruity freshness with chewy boba, while the Spiced apricot offered a unique blend of flavors that left my taste buds craving for more. The starters were a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The grilled jackfruit salad showcased the perfect balance of smoky and refreshing flavors, while the crunchy shitake fingers offered a satisfying texture and a delightful taste. The soba noodles with tea leaf pesto brought together the earthiness of tea leaves and the vibrant flavors of the pesto, creating a harmonious symphony of taste. The edamame and broad beans pesto was a yummylicious surprise, with its creamy texture and vibrant green color. The Taro and moringa soup was a true culinary masterpiece. The velvety smoothness of the taro combined with the subtle earthy notes of moringa created a soup that was both comforting and invigorating. The star of the main course was undoubtedly the smoked chilli rice bowl. The smoky aroma and the fiery kick of the chilli infused the dish with an irresistible flavor. Every mouthful was a delightful blend of spices and textures, leaving me completely satisfied. Saving the best for last, the desserts stole the show! The Rangoon baked milk dessert was a heavenly indulgence. Its rich, creamy texture and the subtle sweetness were simply divine. The street style Burmese falooda was a playful combination of vibrant colors and flavors, a true delight for the senses. The dishes were crafted with precision and love, reflecting the true essence of Burmese cuisine.

This is their second restaurant in Bangalore and I must say the best one beating indiranagar. Sufficient parking in the mall, and quite a huge sit out option makes it more the choice to go to. Their interiors are a breeze and love the old traditional style mixed with modern interiors. We had reserved the table so on arriving got a table immediately. For the main part on food, We tried the following and found all of them to be excellent : 1. Pomegranate & Mandarin Spritzer 2. Burmese blossom - my favourite 3. Samuza Hincho - for the soup 4. Raw mango salad 5. Steamed bun - Crunchy tofu 6. Wa potato 7. Red chilly fried rice - Outstanding 8. Avocado and honey ice cream 9. Durian ice cream - most people don’t have a taste for it. Love the place it’s a must try from my side

This is more of Asian cuisine of Thai and Singapore style. It's good but it's a bit pricey when compared. Service is good. Ambiance is also really nice and good place for people who wanna try something of the Thai style

Finally checked this restaurant of our wishlist! This newly opened branch takes reservations until 12.30pm for lunch on the weekends and on every weekday for lunch and dinner. They also have valet parking, their main entrance is on rest house road. The ambience is very chic and pleasant for a sit down meal. Had half portions of samosa soup and mohinga soup to start with both of which were quite flavorful without being overpowering. The salad platter was a must order item as I feel that is the best way to taste multiple salads at once. The raw mango salad was our personal favourite. For mains we ordered the chilli garlic Street noodles which had fresh veggies and greens in a fairly spicy sauce(5/10 on spice). The condiments for the noodles, served in a muffin tray, can be used to enhance the texture, flavour as required. Ended the meal with Caramelised chocolate & cheese dessert which was the perfect end I felt with it also not being heavy on the palate or tummy! Great service by the staff too.

Best Vegetarian Pan Asian food I have eaten till date. Even better than any restaurant in a 5 Star hotels. The Soups were too different and exclusive as compared to normal chinese soup. Best thing is that it is pure vegetarian and has a great variety.

OMG!!!!! What a Samosa Soup ♥️ Every item that we ordered has its own uniqueness. Great ambience. Most of the time you will get waiting time around for 30mins minimum so be prepared. Valet Parking is there.

Great place to try out east asian food. Loved Khaw suey here, lotus stem crisps were excellent too. Burmese fried rice wasn’t anything special, but the steamed buns with some kind of mock meat was good. There’s only one wash room between men and women, which can get crowded. Ambience is good, can sit for hours, the slow service aids that too.

Its a bit expensive but the taste is good. We overall had an amazing experience. The 4 chutney-sauce-or whatever that they give initially goes well with alot of stuff.
