Not so great place considering the price they're charging. Places like goStops, Zostel are 100 times better with similar pricing. Hardly any hygiene standards were maintained with the whole room smelling badly all the time. No common area or similar facilities provided by other hostels are there. There are no signboards so you'll have trouble finding the place in the first place. Also they're running the place by two names. 'Chirpy Co living space' and 'The Hood co living space'! Yes, both are same places with different presence on internet which I don't know why they are doing. Possibly to fool people? Also they'll give locker but for its keys, you'll have to give them 500rs as deposit! To conclude it, it was a poor experience and I wouldn't be going there again unless I'm stuck and have no other choice.

Stayed for one night. Everything was clean, beds are comfortable and had reading lights which were super helpful. Maximum WiFi down speed I got was 100Mbps, good enough. Staff was polite. Attached bathroom didn't have shower head, would like to recommend owner to install. A cupboard was provided with ample space but had to pay separately for a lock. Didn't get chance to use other amenities. Overall good experience. Will visit again.

Good comfortable place to stay, and is relatively affordable. I stayed here for 10days. The price for 4 bed dorm room with attached bathroom can go from 575₹ to 675₹ depending on the demand. Can get breakfast for 80₹. Lunch and dinner for 100₹ each. The food is also decent enough home cooked food. The dorm room also has lockers. But if you need them, you have to pay 500₹ as security deposit which will be refunded when you checkout. There is attached powersupply nearby each bed. Individual fans and light available in each bed to be used in late hours.

I’m experiencing the Hostel stay for the 1st time, Just because of Google Review I booked my 3 days stay here, but trust me it was worth it. Reasonable price, good staffs, ambiance, good internet connection, open kitchen, laundry and open terrace. What else you can expect? I enjoyed my stay here and looking forward to stay there on my next trip.

One of the best hostels/backpackers in Bengaluru. The location is in a quiet and beautiful locality In Koramangala with the nightlife district shops and restaurants at just walking distance. Very clean and beautiful place to stay, customer service is good and the staff is very helpful. Dash, the manager, is a fantastic person. He’ll go above and beyond to help you out with anything. The beds, rooms and the place in general is very clean and house keeping done everyday. Meals are available that taste like home cooked food. Common areas can be used for work from home people and kitchen is available for the guests to cook. Kitchen is clean!! Terrace is available for some quiet time by yourself. I stayed here for a month and would continue living here if my workplace was close by. Overall, a very great experience.

What sets "the hood" apart from rest of the co-living places is the friendliness of staff and management. Their flexible approach of dealing with guests is admirable unlike other co-living firms who would just throw a "policy bomb" at you. Stayed here for almost 20 days and acquainted with a lot of intersting people (one of the perks of being in a co-living space). I along with few other subconsciously started referring to it as "home" and that happened coz it was home like and i never felt like a guest here, unless Sanjit bhaiya slowly approaches you asking "Bhaiya khaana ho gaya?" Followed with"aur payment ?" :D. In all good spirits he is nicest person and pretty much manages every facility here. All in all stay here and experience the peaceful neighbourhood and a close by bustling party hub of Bangalore.

My first time staying at a hostel-like accommodation, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The rooms were clean and well-furnished with comfy beds, cozy comforters, and even towels provided. They also had an RO purifier, which was a great perk. I loved the fact that they offered food and laundry services, making life so much easier. And the hangout areas were perfect for socializing and relaxing. One tip I'd give is to opt for rooms with attached bathrooms for added convenience. Overall, I had a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

It's a good thing my regular go-to Zostel was booked out on the dates I wanted because it gave me the opportunity to discover this gem. I stayed here for 3 days recently and I think it is a well-equipped establishment that caters to men. By no means basic as far as backpacker hostels or coliving spaces go, The Hood has cozy bunk beds, clean toilets and rooms, helpful service staff and a fairly straightforward booking process all at a price that is affordable. You get a locker for a nominal deposit of INR 500, which is promptly returned to you when you check out, provided you didn't lose a few thousand brain cells at one of the bars located just a couple of hundred meters away and drop your locker key down a drain. It has a washing machine and iron situated right next to the kitchen area, where you're free to cook what you need if you so choose. They also provide food, but I hadn't had the chance to taste it because I was too busy catching up with all my old food haunts. They don't have a board outside and a dunzo package did get a little lost in that layout, but all in all, it's fairly easy to locate otherwise. I did not get a chance to interact with any of the people around me much, but from what I gather, the crowd is a fun bunch. Hope you like it, too!

Perfect place to stay around Koramangala and if you're in Bengaluru for a short or long stay, hood is the best option with a homely feel and awesome staff. Each staff do their job at best. You can preorder food and can choose to make your own food in the open kitchen. The location is also serene. So my overall experience is pretty good here.

I stayed there for one day and night at shared room they call it "dorm" and the place is amazing Food is also good Even you can cook yourself. Or you can tell them to prepare food It is at walking distance from bus They are taking care of cleanliness There are two common areas for sitting and watching tv Staff is supporting, polite and Helping Nature It gives feel of hostel where you can make friends. And that's it.

Rooms are neat and clean, but if you have privacy concerns book a private hotel room or something, service was okay, and the location is not too far and its a nice place with a nice atmosphere

Me and my 6 friends had a nice stay here! We stayed for one night. Unfortunately all of us were split. We were hoping we could stay together in one or two units, but we were asked to stay separately maybe because it was fully booked and others came before us. We didn’t like this :( Also, the beds in the ground floor upper level were vibrating all the time. We assume it is because of bad grounding. But one of my friends couldn’t sleep and he did complain but the person who attended didn’t really care. Overall for the price they charge its gooooood.

We took 3 beds in a 4 bed dormentary.The room was neither small nor big it was compact and perfect.It also had a attached bathroom which was very clean.They also have kitchen in ground floor with utensils and fridge which can be used by guests.There is no car parking inside the building if you bring the car it has to be parked on the road.Inside 3 bikes can be parked and outside 1-2 bikes can be parked.This place is perfect for bachelors and it costed us only 1500 per day for 3 persons

My first stay at a hostel, couldn’t have been better. Best location in town. Most humble and friendly staff. Hygienic and peaceful ambience.

This PG is located at the hear of Koramangala. Good hospitality and sevice. One bad thing which I noticed is they are having dormitory with six beds in a small room. This can be avoided. Having 4 beds in all the room is acceptable. We can cook ourself. If you are washing clothes, you have to pay 150. This is also not good. This policy should be changed. If anyone washes more than one time a week, then they can charge it. Because the rent amount is high if we compare with other PG's.

rad little hostel in the residential area of koramangala. can be a little hard to find but call their number and they’ll help you out. in full transparency i didn’t stay any nights here. i was going to but ended up renting an apartment for the month nearby. that said i got a tour of the place and the hostel manager Dash was SUPER helpful. he explained the neighborhood to me and gave me a full tour. seems like a cool spot and for a good price! thanks to Dash for the recs 🙏

Excellent stay at the heart of HSR layout. I had to arrange for a stay for some of my family members who arrived for a function. I was apprehensive of the fact that it has a word Hostel in the name. However I was proven wrong. The people who stayed were happy and suggested they will book when they need accommodation near by. What we loved 1. Hygiene - The rooms and the bathroom were kept spic and span. Toiletries and a personal kit was provided for each individual. Even the buckets and mugs looked new and not dirty unlike in many places. Curtains, bedsheets, towels and comforters were clean and smelled fresh. 2. Staff behaviour - Extremely polite and obliging staff who are available over a call 24x7 for anything. They ask for your convenience to come and do the routine cleaning. Special mention to Laxman who even gave me a site visit before we actually checked in. 3. Calm atmosphere - no disturbances in the locality or in the building despite being just 100m away from the main road. 4. Amenities - iron box, washing machine, kitchen utensils, smart tv, water purifier, 5g internet and a dedicated office space everything is available for a comfortable stay. The beds and pillows are premium and support a good night's sleep. Cons 1. Room sizes are compact but does the job for 2 people to sleep comfortably.

It's a decent place to stay if you use it for a night stay and have other things to do during the day. Washrooms are not attached, they're common. You will have to purchase your lock for lockers. Cons: No curtains on the dorms unlike other stays.

Clumsy rooms can be somewhat spacious for what paid. Though its like pg but eatable are highly priced.. Overall ok for temp stay.

I stayed here in a private room for 10 days and the experience was blissful. It felt like second home. The private room has all the amenities that you might need to stay peacefully. As promised by the management, cleaning of the room happens everyday. The lady that did the cleaning during my stay was very polite and cleaned the room properly leaving no corners. Design of the private rooms is beautiful. I had a fun time working from there. The WiFi speed is pretty much enough for any kind of work. The common space is also lively. The best thing about the common space is that it also has a small bookshelf with few but popular books. The common area also hosts beautiful sitting place where you can comfortably work. A shared kitchen is provided for the guests to cook with almost all the amenities required. It has a microwave, a gas stove, common condiments and spices, electric kettle and generally used cooking utensils. The place itself is situated in a very good location. It is part of a highly sophisticated, green and popular area, Koramangala. There is a small park in front of the place called Peace Park. Shared washing machine is provided in premises but it is chargeable. Food is also prepared by staff but is again chargeable. Staff is very helping and polite. They listen to every query and try to get it fixed in their best possible ways. I had a slightly broken shower which they got fixed immediately. It is safe for every kind of guests. During my stay I have seen single guys, girls, couples and even families enjoying their stay. Overall, a very good experience. This will be my go to place anytime I visit Bangalore. But let me tell you one thing that this place is almost booked. So, do your bookings well in advance.

I have been staying here since last six months. To be honest, I didn't felt like I'm staying away from home. This's one of the best hostels I have stayed so far. Staffs are extremely helpful especially Dash, Sujith and Raja. Other thing I loved about this hostel was the accessibility. This hostel is located in the centre of happening places in Koramangala. Totally it's worth paying every penny. Kudos to the whole team :)

Good place to stay for a day or many. They were so kind enough to check me in at early morning 5 AM and use the common rooms/wash rooms. Clean place with good Wi-Fi. The location is near to good restaurants and Nexus Mall. I stayed for a day but I for sure will stay if I need to visit Bangalore in Future.

I had visited the place, thinking it would be ordinary space to past some nights but I was wrong. This place is not less than home, the people you'll met arround are so friendly and caring, always ready to help others. Planning to visit again soon:)

I had a nice experience staying in "the hood" . I would strongly recommend this if you are having a low budget & you are a bag packer . But if you have a good budget then go to a private room of some other hotel .

My experience: At night if you're in a Dorm, people do not sleep till 3-4, it's really difficult to sleep when people randomly talk and turn lights on! Pros: Chef asks if we need any meal, overall clean property. WiFi works fine usually. Cons: No sleep timings, uncomfortable at night. Dorm beds move if any of the person (upper bed or lower) is changing position while sleeping.

Good place, great value for money. I stayed at The Hood during my visit to banglore. They allowed me to use common areas way before my check in time. Very friendly and understanding staff. The place is in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. Well connected to public transport. High speed internet access allows you to work from the place, dedicated and ample areas available for remote working.

My favourite place to stay till now in Bangalore. The vibe of private rooms is very nice. Location is so peaceful. Gentry seems to be nice , most of them are working professionals and you feel comfortable.

While the price up front may seem quite daunting, it is certainly worth every penny. The staff were exceptional, catering to our every need, especially Dash, who was able to secure us bookings of our choice of rooms with no problems at all. The room was unbelievable. The views out the window were worth the price alone. The experience that should not be missed. Will visit again.

The owner/ care taker bhaiya was so friendly and helpful. He was polite with me and helped me to accommodate. There is a self doing kitchen and spacious living room to enjoy your time and work I really recommend this place to everyone
