A very good breakfast place in Jayanagar. Very clean and very well maintained. The taste is also very good and the quality is well maintained. They don't overuse oil/ghee/butter in their dishes so the breakfast doesn't feel too heavy. The prices are also very reasonable (rs 30 for Masala dosa). We tried masala dosa(very good), Idli wada( good, they don't serve sambhar), chow chow bath(good) and filter coffee(very good).

Very good joint for south Indian idly, dosa and south Indian dishes. It's a bit crowded but it's all worthy the wait. The cost on your pocket is very minimal and the best part is the place is very hygienic. What ever happens from serving to cleaning everything happens in front of your eyes.

Heard a lot about this place and read that this is one of the best places for dosa in Bengaluru. So travelled nearabout 15 KMs and visited this place few months back and yes this place really does justice to its popularity. I liked the masala dosa a lot. Fluffy yet crispy, which l love in any dosa. But I missed sambar with dosa, as they serve dosa only with chutney. But dosa was so good that, it was going well with chutney as well. Even coffee was good here. If distance had not been constraint then I would have loved to come here regularly. And lastly the restaurant itself looks quite good and I also loved atmosphere here at Taaza Thindi.

Simply amazed by the energy levels and vibes at this place. I have been here couple of times for breakfast. They have a simple menu with limited items - idli, vada, kesari bath, dosa etc. There is usually a queue for the order and the payment. One might have to wait a bit more for getting the food items as well. Food is simplistic and delicious. They do not have sambar and just serve the one type of chutney One can find parking at nearby streets. Would recommend visiting this place early in the morning to avoid the crowd and wait times

Clean and hygienic. Great quality food. Very economical. A must visit place. You cannot be expecting to sit and dine over like other conventional hotels (over table and chairs). You can collect parcel in your own tiffin boxes. Mode of payment is only cash.

Masala Dosa ***** (Rs. 35) Idli ***** (Rs. 15) Vada ***** (Rs. 15) Kesarbhath ***** (Rs. 15) Kharabhath ***** (Rs. 15) Coffee ***** (Rs. 10) Wonderfully managed, beautiful and mouth watering dishes, very simple menu with only 10 items at unimaginable price. They have maintained the hygiene very well given the crowd they have all the time.

One of the best Dosa I've had and super cheap and tasty. Food here is delicious and of really good quality and is very reasonably priced. Tea and Coffee also tasted great. But there is a lot of rush and you might have to wait in a line to get your food but it's 100% worth it.

Best south Indian breakfast places to visit in Bangalore. Amazing soft idli, vada and must try masala dosa with ghee. Filter coffee at the end is a extra pinch of amazing feeling. Truly a bangalore native restaurant; running successfully for years. Place is always rushy, and huge lines. Only problem is the sitting area when it’s crowdy. But otherwise it’s greatly managed. I tried all the dishes in menu at below 100 INR. And the food is worth than any 5star restaurant breakfast. Must visit place in Bangalore for breakfast.

This is a nice eat out. The quality of snacks they serve, the process they follow and the overall hygiene makes one highly satisfied with this outlet. They serve only South Indian snacks and getting a place to sit and eat during peak hours could be challenging. However despite the peak hours footfall, be assured of their quick service and uncompromising quality. Very very reasonably priced..A must visit place when you are in this part of the city.

Just the right price and quantity. It satisfies your craving for nice hot breakfast and does not fill you up all the way that you are regretting getting a heavy breakfast. Not too buttery or oily. Have been here twice and absolutely love it.

Liked the taste of their dosa, idli, vada and filter coffee. No sambhar only chutney, that's their speciality. Dosas are thick and you get unlimited chutney for free. Weekends are super rush but the crowd is fast moving so you can get it fast. No tables so you have to find an empty space which is on sharing basis. It's like stand and eat placee. First place i experienced which is Only cash - no UPI no credit or debit card. No car parking so find some street parking nearby on your risk.

Delicious food. Loved the idli so much, Vada and dosa were quite amazing too. There’s always a bit of a line but it moves fast and is worth it. The chutney was also quite amazing. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

One of the authentic breakfast spots of Bangalore. Sweet and simple is the best way to describe. No litres of ghee or no over hype. Everything is here is at right proportion. Price is one of the best part. You can eat full stomach with 100rs in your pocket. Tough to find parking space for two wheelers and four wheelers both as it's located in prime area. Having no seating area is another drawback.

Early morning if you are hungry and near by this place should go. First we ate idli with vada. Even first bite we got now from month melting idli that why this place is so famous both were 11 rupee each. Dosa was very tender and they included one spoon with pure ghee on top of dosa(price 25/-) . Each Baht(15/-)also so delicious and they used frend "Meetha Neem". North indian guys you should visited here once. You guys will love it.

Vegetarian Food Review: Ignore my really bad pictures because I literally wanted to lick my fingers. If and when you find yourself in #Bangalore or #Bengaluru just go to @taazathindi for the most delicious no frills, clean, hot, soul satisfying limited menu South Indian food. My heart and soul both feels satisfied and unsatisfied at the same time because I wish I could have eaten more. Believe me we walked away wishing we had space for one more bite. 4 of us ate here for $6 TOTAL. I am still in disbelief. 16 plates of food/coffee amongst all of us and we asked 4 times…. $6 (rs. 450) anyways. I could go on. I am happy. Simply happy. Why can’t we make hot healthy food affordable in US? Why is Cultural food so whitewashed? Sob. FYI nothing was spicy. I can’t do spicy stuff anymore. It was just yum. Do let me know what you think. And yes you can take your box to them and they will fill it with food.

Best south Indian breakfast places to visit in Bangalore. Amazing soft idli, vada and must try masala dosa with ghee. Truly a bangalore native restaurant; running successfully for years. Prices are so cheap. I got 2 masala dosa,4 idly,2 vada and 2 plate Kesari bath in INR 180. You will not get Sambhar there but there is separate counter for extra chutney. Place is always rushy, and huge lines. Only problem is the sitting area when it's crowdy. But otherwise it's greatly managed. The food is worth than any 5star restaurant breakfast. Must visit place in Bangalore for breakfast.

A nice place to have a filling breakfast. It's maintained very well with a lot of hygiene. The menu has good number of options covering many staple south indian dishes. Be it the crispy vada, idli chutney, perfect masala dosa or the too good kesaribath that melts down deliciously in your mouth! you'll be in for a treat as all of them taste so well, that too at a really affordable price. Even though many places try to recreate it's taste, there's nothing like the original one! Would surely recommend it.

I had gone here after having a lot of good reviews from friends. But I think my friends just over hyped this place or I made up a lot of expectations in my mind. Its "just another" eatery of bengaluru that serves vegetarian food. I tried the filter coffee and masala dosa. Nothing very great about the place, the taste is average and the price is also average as per bengaluru standards. This place opens after 4:30pm in the evening till 7:30pm. For morning hours, it opens at 7am and then closes at 12noon. So plan accordingly. One unique thing about this place is a TV that mentions some really amazing health facts related to food.

When it comes to taste and hygiene this place is my go-to. Too crowded, but they serve you quickly. I love their Khara Bhat and Kesri Bhat, one of the best in town. They serve everything with green coconut chutney which has a great texture. No sambhar though. They only accept cash, no card/UPI which is weird considering every place in Bangalore accepts UPI. The place is quite cheap too ₹100 is more than enough for a person as of 2023.

Pretty decent outlet with all three services for the day. Self service and their food quality, hygiene, price are appreciable. Delectable stuff. Kharabath gets 100 marks. Parking available as the roads are wide. Highly recommended.

Love this place for the crispy dosas and kesari they served. The food is decently priced. But the best part was their policy to bring your own utensils for parcel, thus ensuring zero wastage. The place is neat. A bit crowded on weekdays. On weekends, the wait time is more, but definitely worth the wait

It's a popular South Indian fast food joint in Bangalore. We enjoyed their Dosa & Vada with Chutney, which are some of their signature dishes. Known for their hygienic environment, reasonable prices, and top quality food items.

One of the popular eatery in this area, finally got a chance to visit here. It wasn't much crowded due to the current situation. Temperature is checked as you enter and there is foot pedal hand sanitizer once you enter. There's only one cash counter and might lead to a small queue. There's token system for some of the items if there's order pile up. Separate section for each item, thereby reducing crowd at one place. Food is tasty and priced very economically. A must visit in this area. You can try all the items here in one visit without punching hole in your pocket and have a satisfied tummy 😋 Only negative thing is no digital payment option.

One of the most popular traditional eateries in Bangalore. They have a very limited menu of idly, dosa, vada and milk. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is very good. They have an open kitchen and a world class dish washer, so nothing to worry about hygiene. A must visit place in Bangalore.

Poor management, there’s no first come first serve basis concept here, over selling without having a given item. Taste was good but to go through the people and to get the food it’s not worth it. I would recommend this only once so that you can taste how the food is.

It's pretty crowded. Food is served as quickly and as efficiently as possible. The space(inside and out) is very clean. The Dosa is crisp, and despite the grease doesn't feel like it's going to clog your arteries. The vadas are crisp even after drowning in chutney, and even my sambar loyal self was impressed While the coffee is slightly sweetened, it's strong and does the job. But those of you like sweet coffee will need to get extra sugar. A must try if you're in this neck of the woods. For the food and the experience.

The food is amazing, great taste, quality, hygiene is top notch. The prices are very reasonable. This is an Iconic place in Bangalore. Superb food taste and quality and the prices are very affordable even though they serve a very good food. The place is very hygienic and we can see everything infront of us from serving the food to cleaning the dishes they are super hygiene. Very good experience and worth the money. The only bad thing is that we should wait much time to get our food as crowd is heavy but even though after waiting it's worth eating in this place.

One of the best breakfast spaces in Bangalore, limited menu , cost efficient and self service space . Coffee | Masala Dosa | Idly

  • 4/5 Ruksana J. 3 months ago on Google • 10 reviews New
Food Portions are a bit small but are usually enough. As such, dosas are oily. And extra ghee is also added to dosas. It would be nice of them to control the quantity of oil. At this point people just opt for a ghee-less option. Chutney is perfect. No sambar. Coffee is also good, I didn't taste the tea. System What stands out is that this place is very well organised. Apart from the queue for billing, there is also a queue for dosas. Almost everyone eats the dosa but because of this queue system, nobody has any dispute of who should be served next. There is some place to sit but when it's crowded (weekends are super crowded), you have to stand outside like any other South Indian hotel without seats. Another thing that speaks for itself is the hygiene of the food served. BYOB for parcel. Price For the quantity served, and the area, the price seems okay.

Its one of my favorite joint to visit for evening snacks. They offer a limited menu like idli, vada, masala dosa, sada dosa, khara bath, sheera, tea, coffee at a cheap price. Masala dosa and coffee is very tasty here, rest items in menu average. Sitting arrangements are limited. Weekends are very very busy. They do provide parcel if we get our lunch box but on weekends no parcels of dosa items would be given. In short, it's quick snack or breakfast joint.

Amazing crispy dosa, soft idli and crispy vada. Its a heaven for the foodies to have breakfast in Namma Bengaluru. Cost wise also its pretty cheap, with no compromise on the quality. Only issue during the Covid times is that no social distancing could be followed because of small space and more crowd.

One of the unique eateries in Bangalore. Amazing veg food and a must visit. Prices are extremely affordable. None of the items on the menu exceed 15 rupees ( you read that right). Quick and efficient service without any compromise on quality or taste. Specials are masala dose which is extremely popular here.

Taaza Thindi gets bigger We were heading towards Kathriguppe & suddenly we saw a Taaza Thindi outlet there. Since we are fans of the place, we decided to drop in on the weekend. My, what a place, it’s much bigger & spacious than the first one. Guests bask in the extended open air seating area & make conversation over idlis & dosas. Oh my, that’s enough to get us excited. We began our evening with a plate of idlis, which are so soft & white, unlike most places where they appear dull & lack the softness. This has been matched by nicely textured chutney. Crisp vadas too are worth a try. We looked around & saw people taking refills of chutney. As all this is on, it is time to enjoy the masala dosas, which turned out to be thick & yet crisp. I’m told that a thick tava makes 15 dosas in six minutes. The kesari bhat isn’t dripping with ghee, it’s like a dollop & tastes like home. Even the khara bhat has subtle spice levels. Taaza Thindi has invested in creating a very clean environment for eating. What’s so nice about the staff is that they offer a tour of all the background work that goes into the cooking. Highly automated processes have lent high levels of precision & cleanliness. Multipurpose grinders and a variety of mixing machines ensure that the food is clean, well cooked & has optimum texture. The first floor has the storage area, where stuff is transported downstairs through a private lift. How cool can it get, and alongside that is a rather active production area. Though Thaaza Thindi serves limited items, they are prepared with care and served within a limited time period. Kavitha Srinivasa

Very nice food with hygiene. Like masala dosa following a cup of coffee. Price wise also justified not much.

Nice place for a morning breakfast. This place takes me back to my college days memories. Although the menu is limited, the focus is on quality rather than quantity. It's cheap, it's healthy, it's tasty. What more does one need? A fair warning: one can expect a fair bit of crowd here but the food is worth the wait.

This place was buzzing with people when I went there. No proper place to sit. The menu itself is very limited which is a good thing I feel. The idli vada was amazing, but the dosa was not near ctr benne masala dosa. Chowchow bath was good. Reach there on a weekend morning to enjoy a good and sumptuous breakfast.

This is one of the best in banglore, will definitely meet your expectations, heard a lot about this and vidyarthi bhavan but I felt this one better comparing both, location taste everything is so cool only thing is try not to go on weekends coz there will be huge rush on weekends, price is also too low even when you compare to other normal hotels that's the best thing about this one....

you will have a different experience by going to Taaza Thindi. Well organised structure, neatness of the resturant and taste will make you amazed. Menu is restricted to couple of items (10 items). Its a must visit pace if you are in and around JayaNagar.
