The waiter, who welcomed me, was extremely polite and professional and also ensured I had a great dining experience. Taj hotels are known for their exceptional service and this restaurant is no exception. I ordered their extensive Non- veg tasting menu and it was beyond amazing. Each item was perfectly prepared and spiced to taste. The presentation was exquisite. It was obvious that they were genuinely passionate and wanted to offer you the best food. The portion size was significant however, I was able to get a taste of everything. I would like to thank Masala Klub for providing excellent food and service.

Had chosen this place for a dinner with family for a special occasion. Had great expectations since it was a 5 star hotel The good: 1. Located within Taj. There's valet parking 2. The quality of Paneer used The not so good: 1. The service - right from seating us, serving food, etc. Did not see the usual courtesy which we experience even in very small restaurants. The service was very slow as well, it took about 3 hours to finish a complete meal. 2. The food - once again, did not find it extra ordinary / out of this world. It was decent just like any other typical small restaurant. We ordered the tasting menu, and there was not even a single dish that left a lasting impression on us to crave for it in the future 3. The price - it was expensive, as expected from a 5 star restaurant. However, it's definitely not worth it for the kind of service and the kind of food we had. Have had and experienced similar stuff for about 1/10th the cost. The above rating and comments are only wrt what is really expected out of a 5 star restaurant, especially after paying that kind of money, but didn't meet the expectations.

Went in with a lot of high expectations and the ambience and the food was kind of up to the mark. A quiet little sanctuary of calmness and tranquility right in the middle of Bengaluru. A bit overpriced but it comes with the premium value of location and inhabitants both permanent and temporary in the hotel and it's close proximity to Vidhana Soudha. The only drawback was that there was a huge swathe of mosquitoes that didn't let us have our lunch in peace.

Ambience: Beautiful, pleasant and picturesque Food: Expensive yet delicious Hospitality: Waah Taj! Complimentary: Shell like fries and potato chips. They are yummy. We went there to celebrate Anniversary and they arranged a yummy chocolate cake for us! P.S: Don't miss to click pics at the grand piano ;)

After travelling the whole world and have tried North Indian food worldwide . Including the one and only North Indian Michelin Star restaurant in Singapore the Song of India . I have reached my verdict that Masala Klub @ Taj West end is the best North Indian restaurant in the world . Every time I come back to this restaurant the taste keeps getting better and better to perfection . Would like to give a big applause and thank you to Chef Paramjeet Singh who had prepared the food for us on the 8th of August 2020 With his heart & soul . Masala Klub definitely deserves michelin star rating Best Regards Keshav Singhania

It was a fantastic dining experience. Taj chain of hotels do raise the bar in hospitality. We were attended to our satisfaction and in fact had a great experience with Shailendra who served us our meal. The menu has lot of options both in veg and non veg. I would not rate the visit 5 star as I felt some of the dishes lacked perfection as you would expect from hotel like this. Some of the dishes were a bit more salty than desired and which could have been better.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful dining experience. The keema kebab was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, offering a burst of flavors with every bite. To top it off, the gulab jamun for dessert was a sweet treat that left me craving for more. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was attentive, making it a memorable evening. I highly recommend trying the keema kebab and gulab jamun when you dine at this restaurant.

I was looking for a fine dining restaurant. And it was perfect for me 😍. But the staff were quite busy that time so I had to wait for sometimes to let them send me to my table even tho I’ve made a reservation before, plus it took them sometimes to serve the meal. The food is superb. I had bread that I couldn’t remember the name. It was yellow. Almost like Paratha but it’s sweet. I wish to come back there again when I get a chance to visit Bangalore again

Got a chance to visit Taj Western End with friends and had dinner on Masala Klub, which is the most rated restaurant from TWE. The place was really awesome to celebrate some special occasion. This is one of the best place in Bangalore with its impeccable service and quality. We tried Doodhiya Murg Tikka and Shahi Masala Tikka as an appetizer with some mocktails. Then we moved the main course and ordered Murg Khatta Pyaz, Chicken Tariwala, Paraat Pulav and Cheese Naan. And at the end for some sweet teeth Gulukand Rasmalai and Kaju Kismish Ki Kheer. All were damn tasty and don't think about the quantity. It should be enough for you. Coming to the hospitality, as usual, no one can beat the hospitality and experience like Taj does. Overall we all were quite happy and satisfied with this place. Definitely will visit this place soon. And Thanks a lot, Taj & Masala Klub for your warm welcome.

The seating area and ambience is nice. However, the food in itself was mediocre at best - we opted for the seafood tasting menu - it took extremely long (45 minutes) to get our food and they messed up the counts so one person had to wait till everyone finished. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery, mutton was over seasoned, only thing I enjoyed was broccoli (ironically). The biriyani was so bland even my 3 yo will say it didn't have any flavors or spice. Dessert was alright. Overall, the place is extremely overrated and overpriced.

Masala Kulb at The Taj Westend continues its classy ambience, tasty food and overall a fine dining experience. The options of food, beverages and hospitality is definitely a class apart and leaves lasting memories with a perfect satisfaction. Keema naan, Patiala Gosht, lemongrass rasam,Bharwan malai gucchi,Galawati kebab are yummy and deliciously made. Definitely a must visit , especially for the overall ambience, food and service.

It was a set menu for 9 people, thought the food was going to be awesome. Unfortunately for the price the food was poor. I had promised my team a feast of nonveg, they ended up leaving a lot of food because it was not bad. I would not recommend bringing large teams or families to this place, food taste, portions and the price don't match. Big disappointment.🙁

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Masala Klub, and I must say it was an outstanding culinary experience. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was inviting, and the staff was incredibly attentive. What truly stood out, though, was the food. Every dish was a delightful masterpiece. The flavors were impeccable, and the presentation was artful.

The manager said she didn't have a reservation in my name without even checking twice. She eventually realized it was there but made us wait 30 min anyway. It was a busy Saturday so we didn't mind the wait but that was no way to treat a customer. Finally we got our table but the service was very slow. Food however, was good. I wish the hospitality was better.

I requested for a table booking on 26th November dinner.. It was confirmed.. Curiosity he asked me any particular occasion I said yes.. Said he will do the needfull cakes..... Bla bla... Unfortunately when we reached hotel masala club.. We were asked to wait.. Because there was no reservation.. My God.. Worst.. I would suggest please.. No.

Well the ambiance is certainly cool, 10 on 10 for that. However, the serivce wasnt upto the mark, I mean, its Taj, but it was not cool. They dont even have seats like high chair for toddlers whereas every fine dining restautant we visited there was always an option. On top of that one of the servant arranged a high chair he just grabbed it from somewhere and gave us. Later some other guy came and aksed us to give it back becuase it was of some guest. I mean how could they just give some guest's stuff to someone else. Finally coming to food and serivce both are ok, certainly not wow or so. Its just like any other fine dining restaurant in Bangalore. Shangri-la's Saffron certainly has better service than here and comparable food. But in fine dining along with food service matters. Final words certainly not value for money but yeah you can try for once if you are into fine dining. Hope this feedback will help Taj management to rectify some goof ups like giving someone's stuff to other customers or so. Very disappointed by the incident and service too.

This is the worst five star hotel ever, no hospitality, poor service and too much arrogance. We had booked a table for dinner, when we arrived they said there is no booking done and then one of the person came and showed us a table and told us to go and sit, we insisted for lawn table and then again they showed us the table and asked us to go and sit, then after we and sat there nobody even turned up for almost 15 minutes and then we ourselves went and called them and one person came and gave us menu card and went and we almost were seated for 40 minutes nobody came to take the order. Finally out of frustration we left the place and nobody even bothered to ask as to why we are leaving. This is one of the worst experiences we had in our entire life. Pathetic and arrogant people. This doesn't even qualify to be a 1 star hotel. They really spoilt our evening. I would suggest people to never visit this place.

My visit to Masala Klub was an absolute delight! The restaurant's commitment to serving authentic Indian cuisine was evident in every dish. The flavors were a perfect blend of spices, and the presentation was exquisite. What truly set Masala Klub apart was their exceptional selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I tried their signature mocktails, and each one was a refreshing and delicious complement to the meal. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, making it a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The attentive staff further enhanced the overall experience. I can't recommend Masala Klub enough for those seeking both delectable Indian cuisine and a delightful array of non-alcoholic drinks.

The texture was incredibly creamy, and the flavor was spot-on. It had just the right balance of sweetness, and the hints of cardamom were a perfect touch

  • 4/5 Ananya M. 2 years ago on Google
Food: The food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were great but the price we paid was too much for the overall experience (read on). Ambience: We went there on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was somewhat crowded. The tables were set pretty close together - not ideal, given the pandemic situation. The place has sprawling lawns and the property is beautiful - best enjoyed during the day. Other: (+) We reserved a table in advance and told them it's my father's birthday. They arranged for a complimentary cake and even had a pianist play happy birthday for my old man. Great gesture! (-) Our server for the evening wasn't wearing his mask properly, and didn't adjust it despite repeated requests. Instead he said his glasses were fogging up so he kept the mask down - which made us uncomfortable. Spectacles were being prioritised over our safety. Not something you expect at a Taj property.

It's a little too disappointing, frankly. The food was just ordinary except for the galouti kebab. Of course, it's a fine dining restaurant inside a 5 star hotel and it's indeed pricey. But we really didn't feel that the taste and quality of the food was special. The service also didn't match the reputation. It was just ordinary service which we could get at any regular restaurant. there was nobody to tend to us most of the time, not even anyone to serve water. It was a rather tepid service.

Hi I have visited this place, and their ambiance is extremely good and their garden is amazing .They have both outside and inside dining. The reservation process is very easy .The staff was friendly, and coming to food I have tried their special "murgh katta pyazz" and pulkas I really loved the taste of food .They also serves homemade traditional wine .I would recommend this place for sure.

As the name says this is the 5 star hotel of Taj.The interiors are really good and people over here are really friendly and guide you well.Their is a table close to pool to sit and dine. And we took the same place. The place is really good to take your family for dinner as it's one of the quietest place to sit and have food amidst chaotic Bengaluru. The pool and garden view here is really superb. Among non veg starters Sheekh Kabab was really good and also Cranberry mocktail is one of the best to taste here.We tasted Lucknavi Ghost Biryani, which had a good taste but not the best as I personally love Andhra style Biryani. So Ambience - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food -4/5

  • 2/5 Sidhant G. 2 years ago on Google
The food was tasty but for a fine dining restaurant with a tasting menu, it was really boring and no different from ordering a la carte. As for the ambience, the adjacent garden was nice but nothing spectacular about the seating or decor.

Masala Klub offers a delightful blend of traditional Indian flavors with a contemporary touch. The restaurant's elegant ambiance and attentive service complement the exquisite dishes perfectly. From aromatic curries to flavorful tandoori delights, each dish is crafted with finesse and authenticity. The diverse menu caters to various palates, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options showcasing the richness of Indian cuisine. While slightly on the higher end in terms of pricing, the culinary experience at Masala Klub makes it a worthwhile indulgence for lovers of Indian food.

  • 5/5 Prateek S. 1 year ago on Google
while we enjoyed only the vegetarian servings, definitely above average in taste. I'm sure the non-vegetarian items are a class apart as could see most patrons ordering them. the ambience only adds to it. however what compelled me to give them 5 stars is their hospitality and drive to make their patrons comfortable. And the reason they can pull it off is because they know how to hold their stars with them for decades- their staff, people like Mr Surendra. though my spouse was wanting for better taste as her food got cold by the time she came back, I've no complaints. only watch out - eat while it is hot! and book your table in advance.

We were staying at the property and went for lunch at the restaurant. 1. Way overpriced for the quantity and quality of the food served 2. Paneer tikka was not eatable as the paneer was not fresh 3. Other food items as shown in the pic were average and nothing more. 4. Not salt or pepper was provided 5. Service of the staff was below standard as the table was not cleaned properly, the waiter the food (not dishes but actual food) with his hands which is unhygienic, service was very slow, finger bowls were served on asking, no tissue or hand towel provided to wipe hands, credit card machine was not working, no mouth fresher served post meal with the bill. A lot more is expected from a restaurant of this level. Such kind of service can be provided by any restaurant in the nook and corner of Bangalore with much better food. Giving 2 stars only for ambience and not for food.

A million stars for the amazing forest-like ambience. My craving for a yummy mutton Biryani(Pirat pulav as they call it) and tandoori starters are well-taken care of by the courteous staff @ Masala Klub. A stroll around the place after the meal is a must! West End is a friend jewel of our garden city Bengaluru.

We went to this place on a weekend . They have Ala carte and a fixed menu . We opted for the fixed menu which has a welcome drink , couple of starters and main course and finally desserts. Located inside Taj West end , the food was not of Taj level . I expected it to be exceptional but the taste was almost at par with the other decent outlets in Bangalore . Service was a bit slow , but it was customisable . The best part was the desserts which had the right amount of sweetness . Overall , I felt it is a bit expensive even after taking into account the Taj brand value . I would suggest to look for other places which can offer better experience for less cost .

Four of us went for project dinner. Please make sure you reserve your table. There are 2 seating options - lawn and inside restaurant. For evenings, couples should choose lawn and family should go for inside restaurant. There is an option for both A-la carte and Set course menu. I would seriously suggest you to go for set course menu. We chose 2 veg set course menu and 2 non veg meat set menu. The food was amazing and was way better than ITC Dum Pukht set course where I have been quite a few times. Everyone thinks that 5 star restaurant will go light on flavors to appease foreign guests but here they didn't compromise on taste. It was better than anything I had in last few years which includes The Park, Hyatt, ITC etc.. cost per person would be 3-4k. Needless to say, valet parking available. Once again, please reserve your table before going. The service was excellent as well (Venu). This is definitely one of the must visit places for food in Bangalore.

You get the best in class service & ambience. Not so much on the food varierty in my opinion. Prices are exhorbitant (Offcourse its a star premises). Conclusion: If you have too much money in the pocket, If you don't care about money aspects, if someone else if offering you a dining experience, go here, not for the variety of food but just for the class.

Without asking for they added the soup and desserts for the second person from the tasting menu even though we had opted for one pax. Courteous staff and good ambience. Highly recommend for North Indian dishes even above Shangri-La (Saffron) and Leela (Jamavar).

Fabulous food from Qmin Masala Klub. out of the world appeizers and dal makhani. Tarkari Handi and Chole palak were also good. Kudos to Chef Deepankar! Service was fast and servers maintained all the Covid protocol of wearing masks, face shields, gloves. A pricey restaurant and with all the taxes applicable not really pocket friendly.

The most WORST SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED. I booked a table and upon reaching the venue, they said no table booked. I asked for a table in lawn and they just said go and sit. There was no hospitality shown... Not even a glimpse of hospitality. We waited for 20 mins and no one attended and I went and asked for a menu. They gave a menu after 10 mins. We waited again to give the order and none of them showed up again for almost 20 mins.. It was a total of 50 mins wait time and none bothered to even take the order. We just woke up and started coming and they were least bothered to even ask the customers even for once. I went up to service desk to give the complaint and feedback and its the same, the lady in the counter least bothered to even take the feedback or complaint. Never expected so arrogant, pathetic and worst service .. That too from a five star hotel.. Being in hospitality sector and with this fame, its the most cheap n worst service ever experienced. Almost all the table customers just gazed outside and waited for service.

A little disappointed with their service. Inspite of reserving a table well in advance, we were given a table in a bad location. Food was above average and the service, tardy.

Very nice food. Located within a 5 star hotel, so prices are on higher side. Great for fine dining. Nice and quiet ambience with great hospitality

The ambience of the place is good but the service is ok . We had gone for our anniversary dinner but we were quite disappointed with the service and the taste of the food ..we ordered a small drink and they charged for A large one and the server had horrible attitude and not apologetic at all about it.

What a lovely space to enjoy great food! This restaurant is inside the beautiful Taj Hotel. The garden is really beautiful. We were served by a very kind helpful waiter who had worked there for more than 30 years!

This hotel provided me with an excellent experience! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive from the moment I stepped in. The accommodation was spotless, pleasant, and elegantly designed. The amenities were excellent, and I especially appreciated the great meals. The location was also ideal, as it was close to activities and eateries. This hotel comes highly recommended by me. I can't wait to return!

The best part was the desserts which had the right amount of sweetness . Overall , I felt it is a bit expensive even after taking into account the Taj brand value . I would suggest to look for other places which can offer better experience for less cost .
