If you are patriotic then you will definitely love this place. Lots of names are inscribed in the wall alongside the national flag of different regiments. It's situated just inside the fountain park and a good place to spend time with family. It's a great area and I loved it.

This place is a memorial of the martyred soldiers. It has the tallest hoisted Indian flag pole in Bengaluru. As the name says the missiles, tanks and other equipments developed by DRDO and used by Indian Military are at display in open area here. It also has a park and a musical fountain show. This place is right opposite of J N Planetarium.

First of all Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park, Veerbhoomi and Indian Military museum is one and same.. We went here on saturday 23 April 23. Ticket is Rs. 10 PP if we visit prior to 5 pm and post 5 Pm tickets increases to Rs. 30 PP. Place is okay.. Misile, tankers, ship miniature with runway and two aircrafts you get to see here... There is Musical fountain show after 6.30, we didnt wait that long for watching the same.. Overall average experience.

This is a must see place if you are a patriot! The emotions the place stirs up cannot be expressed in words. Smack dab in the middle of the city, this is the perfect place to honor fallen members of the Indian forces from the post independence era. The museum is outdoors, and there are lots of exhibits, including the monument honoring soldiers. The whole place is covered with trees. Surprisingly, there is no entrance fee. It's all free. The place is immaculately maintained. And really instills a sense of patriotism and gratitude for all those who have sacrificed everything for our lives and liberty.

It is an honor to visit the glorious history of our country's valor and unsung (Non-Living) heroes. Nice park and they don't have any charge to visit the park. But the military vehicle and equipment can be maintained more. Kids will enjoy the place for sure. You can see different kind of tank, Helicopters, Fighter Jet, Missiles, war ship and they are making a stone walls where our real heroes who were martyred during their duty was written.

It's an Amazing Place in terms of it's garden design, trees, setup, and artifacts. Unfortunately it's not being maintained well because of beurocracy and the high maintenance effort. This place exists today because of ONE retired Army Veteran ! So when u visit do your part - don't throw rubbish and appreciate the 'heart' that has been put into making this a reality. As of April 2021 the musuem is under construction. Official entrance is from Ali Askar Rd and not from the JN Musical Fountain entrance. I think there is a small parking lot outside the gate. I don't know which era and from where they picked up this locomotive (steam train), an engineering marvel of a lost era. The statue of the soldier isn't that of an Indian it appears. Need to read more about the history of a war before our Independence 1914-18.

The entrance on Raj Bhavan road opposite the Planetarium did not have place for car parking and the attendant at the gate took Rs.10 per person. Entrance on Ali Askar road has ample parking space and entry was free. Big place to walk around with lots of greenery. One side is the musical fountain, other side is the military musuem. Life size models of tanks, plane, helicopter, missiles. Huge Indian flag. Monument to the martyrs. Must see the part which is underground which has some interesting military exhibits. Signboards and explanation plaques would make the models and exhibits easier to understand.

Great place to visit if u like war tanks rockets. I have visited this place 2 times in 1.6 years in Bangalore . A must visit palace as you will never see such tanks and rocket up so close . It's a war memorial and it has a huge India flag hosted. Free entry for everyone . And the park is good and to walk around but there are street dogs I mean 7 plus and those are scary as they bark and you never know might bite. So stay safe inside . The park is green but not well maintained as you expect it to be. It's not crowded and is almost a foot fall of 50-100 maybe little.more . Kids enjoy it . There is no food facility inside but one can take food in . The entry to park is from both sides front and back and there is a children park for kids to enjoy basic swings. People do come for photo shoots and yes these vintage beast are epic to touch and feel and just get the vibe of how much it has gone by years for the nation. I hope they maintain it well like other museum do atleast charge but make this place to be a must visit . This place is opposite to Nehru plantorium and from Vidhan saudha it's 15-20 mins walk. One shall visit this place if you like tanks rockets . This place is also called as Indra musical fountaij show as the right most side ofo park is for that only but I doubt if it has that going ok still or not.

Most important to note. This park is free to enter and do not need to pay any fees. There is another part of the park which houses the musical fountain where your need to pay a fee to enter. That part is managed by bbmp and this park is handled by our defense folks.Pls tell this upfront to someone who asks you to pay the fees. Also note that there is another entrance gate via the behind road named Ali asker road. One can park there too for free. Beautiful place where you can see the retired military vehicles and models of our missiles. Most importantly we see the possibly tallest Indian flag flying at 350 ft mast height with a flag size of 10ft by 30 ft (as told to us by a defence personnel there)

Fantastic place nested right across the road from the planetarium. Has plenty of old military equipment from the Russian era. The park is most beautiful in the mornings. The names of martyred soldiers from the different regiments in different wars from the WW1 to the recent conflicts with Pakistan is quite touching and is a reminder of the lives lost for the sake of the nationโ€™s honor and integrity.

A perfect place for Patriots to hangout . It has Martyr walls on which the names of soldiers (who sacrificed their lives right from 1947 war to 1999 Kargil war) are engraved. Apart from that so many things are showcased here . It has got the models of ICBM AGNI -V, AAD missile, Prithvi SAM, and BrahMos missile. It has also got a MIG-27, an MBT Arjun MK-2, a vintage MBT Vijayanta Mark I, an APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier), DRDO's Sarvatra ( truck mounted bridging system), models of INS Vikramaditya and many IN ships. And in between all these, there is a tricolor which really adorns this place up. Every year on 26th July, Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated here to commemorate the martyrs. All in all this place will engulf you with patriotic vibes, must visit .But this place is under construction which seems to be stopped for a while

I visited this place with a 8 year old kid only because the Jawahar Lal Nehru Planetarium was closed. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience of this place. It was very well maintained ,even the staff were friendly and ready to tell us more about this place. There are some real military equipment but most of them are just models. But, it for sure has the potential to be an intriguing place for kids with respect to patriotism, science and technology. They also supposedly have a musical water show everyday( other than Monday and second Tuesday of the month) from 7:00 P.M. onwards. One of the major cons of this place is that they do not accept UPI so you are forced to carry cash. It costs about 10 rupees for a ticket with kids being exceptions. Also, there aren't any places for a quick bite inside the campus. Overall, a near perfect place for a calm weekend visit.
