Loved the experience though it is expensive but still worth it! The team took good care of us and i would love to be back! We ordered the crisp lotus root, the mock meat and chestnut along with an aubergine starter Salad was Yum Mamuang Goong (raw mango with prawn) The wok tossed stir fried vegetables in white garlic sauce were a hit and the vegetable fried rice fragrant and delicious! The garlic sauce also complimented the phad thai noodles Thai green curry with sticky jasmine rice completed the meal Bangdwa and Kartik made the experience even better ! Kudos team

We stopped by this restaurant for feeding my daughter only as simple food. We sat outdoors, it was nice and peaceful at that time. I ordered hakka noodles with chicken, it was very simple, common dish, the taste was very nice and properly cooked. Staff was friendly, too. I would like to try other food next time, by the way everything is costly since a five star hotel.

Great place for some pan Asian food if you’re in the area. Ordered off of the set menu and it was way more food than we could eat. They just kept coming and coming with all sorts of dishes. Loved the sushi and the dim sum. Great mains too!

Amazing food and impeccable staff. Sat outside and could hear the water fountains in the park on the side. Decided to go for the set lunch (dumplings) and was impressed with the preparations. The food was presented well and tasted out of this world. I didn't want to eat the seafood dumplings and they were very accommodating and changed with some vegetarian and chicken options.

Zen, a Pan Asian cuisine restaurant present inside the Leela palace hotel. It serves great pan Asian food. Che cheung fung being my favourite ones. Their ambience is great for a good evening catch up with options both indoors and outdoors. However if you go as a larger group seating for indoors together become a challenge. Their service stands up to the mark and you must visit when they have food festivals to try something very unique.

A Set Menu with very very average food, definitely not for Indian or even Asian palate. Food definitely did not taste worth a 5 star Japanese or Asian styled food. The service also lacked.... Even in the set menu, noone cared to serve the rice & curries again. Overall all the items from the Set Menu had everything missing, maybe they had their day off today but definitely would not be visiting this place again. Over all Bill of 65k for 9 is preety expensive for a very average food.

Had a top notch dining experience at this beautiful restaurant. The outdoor seating is a perfect date setup and the mellow music makes it better. I happened to try the special Saturday Thai menu by chef Piched Paoleng. The Thai affar was exquisite and one of the best I have had in Bengaluru. Among my favourite were the hed thod kratium (crispy fired mushroom dish), zusee phak(mock meat in red Thai curry paste), khau king gai (Thai style chicken) and the dessert Mon kathi which was a blend of various elements having vivid textures and flavours. The mock meat dish must not be missed. The staff is courteous and very well trained. Overall had a pleasant experience here and would definitely visit again.

The food is as good as it gets at a 5 star. The Sushi and the dumplings are great. The place is inside the Leela palace hotel, at theor garden which makes for a great seating. It's very privately located. They have an extensive menu buy mainly asian. They also serve drinks and alcohol. The place is very expensive

Loved this place. Had to go back a second time because the food was sooo good. They had 2 live singers who really made the atmosphere amazing. Going back here anytime I’m in Bangalore!

A pleasant outdoor terrace in the lush gardens of the Leela Palace. The dim sum menu is generous, tasty and you can add a free flow of wine if you wish.

Good food, ambience and service are the 3 elements which constitutes a rating for any restaurant given multiple choices that are available in the city. Though the food and ambience of the restaurant are good, the staff at zen are not courteous at all. My husband booked a table at zen a week in advance for my birthday dinner. We were promised candlelight dinner, good view and a cake as a part of the celebration. To our horror, this was nothing special. They did not reserve the table for us as has promised. Candle light was available on all tables so no addition. We had to wait for 30 mins to get the table. The staff was not apologetic at all for ruining my birthday not courteous enough to even wish me after spoiling my experience. Forget about the cake- there was nothing. I have been to multiple 5 star properties for meals or for that matter have been to multiple restaurants, however I have so far never experienced such service or staff who do not know how to treat their guests. You ruined our special evening and lost a customer for sure. Please learn to be courteous first, all other things and accolades will follow.

Food was good, but the same dishes at the Spectra, Leela Gurgaon are way better. Don't get me wrong, nothing terribly wrong with them, but it didn't taste like fine dining material, that we have come to expect from Leela. The chicken chilly was average at best. Sushi; some pieces had crunchy outer layer :(, not sure that is what they were going for really.. Thai green curry had too much sweetness in it... All in all food was average for a Leela restaurant, but ambience was awesome and service was great too..

Great food and great service. We had a quiet dinner to celebrate our anniversary! The spice level in our food was customized very well! It was as spicy and tangy as I had expected! Will definitely recommend it to other people and come back whenever we can.

Overall not satisfied. Service was stale. You are sitting on chair and get shaken whenever employees are moving. There is no smile on the face and looks like the attitude - β€œ finish and go please” Food was ok though I enjoyed chicken green curry and sticky rice only. Other items are ok in taste. Overall , not again !!!

Food is average. You get a Thai, Japanese and Chinese menu, which is Huuuggggeeeee. The menu could have been shortened a bit. Service is awesome and mainly the atmosphere. Vibe: βœ… Service: βœ… Food: πŸ†— I wouldn't recommend this restaurant as the go to restaurant for authentic Thai, Japanese or Chinese cuisines. But if you are in The Leela Palace and you want Asian food, this is the only option you have.

Its awesome . Zen restaurant in Bangalore is an excellent choice for dining with family and friends. The restaurant offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to unwind and indulge in delicious food. The decor is elegant and modern, and the service is impeccable. The menu is extensive, featuring a range of dishes from Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisines. The food is prepared using fresh and high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are well-balanced, leaving your taste buds wanting more. Overall, Zen restaurant is a great place to spend quality time with loved ones while savoring delectable food.

If you are looking for a place with amazing ambiance and quality food look no further. I was staying at Leela and tried Zen. Rajat was my server and his recommendations were simply spot on. I ordered a Papaya Salad, Hot and Sour Soup and Tossed Mushrooms in Garlic Sauce, the food was simply delicious and exuded quality. My hands down fave was the salad, it was so refreshing and not heavy at all. I highly recommend this place and ask for Rajat, he is phenomenal and super helpful. Well done team Leela and my compliments to the chef for an amazing experience.

Horrendous experience at leelas..planned dinner at leelas..citrus restaurant was closed..went to zen..they hardly had any options in menu..they were not serving their usual menu..even the basic things like QR code scanning was not working which even a small restaurant manages better.. the other restaurant Jamavar was also not available.. they had full plan to spoil the evening.. only saving grace was that Hilton was nearby..could manage to go Hilton - 'ministry of food' to save the evening..

Had high expectations, but was let down, by a mile. Service levels are astronomically bad. Had to call for help, multiple times. The dimsums are highly overrated (bland, no taste. Had to ask for accompanying sauce multiple times, and what we got was a tiny portion and again had no taste). The main course (Thai Green Curry) was bad. The desserts (2 of them, a sour ice cream and a cake) were the worst I tasted ever. Don't ever go for the dimsum brunch and just donate the 3k to any other worthy cause. The only thing I liked was the Jasmine Green Tea. Of, course, the ambience was good, as always. I may try Citrus weekend brunch next time but not Zen again.

The service is good given the price Leela charges. The food was good bit nothing to be wowed about. The ambience of the place is nice. It is tucked in a quiet corner after citrus. The restaurant serves Chinese, Thai And Japanese cuisine apparently. You could also have them serve a set menu. We had a 5 course set menu for veg and non veg. The wasabi did not have the punch and was disappointing.

Zen restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by its elegant ambiance and warm hospitality. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding me through their extensive menu of delectable dishes. Each bite was a burst of flavors, showcasing their culinary expertise and attention to detail. The presentation was artful, and the portions were generous. The vegetarian options were diverse and equally delightful. The overall dining experience was elevated by their impeccable service and cozy atmosphere.

My go to place to relish best oriental or pan Asian food in Bengaluru. Be it Japanese , Vietnamese , Thai , Cambodian or Korean , this place never fails to impress my tastebuds. The place too looks very inviting and serene ambience for luxury dining. I’m totally in love with this place ❀️

The ambience of Zen and the dessert ( Crem Brulee)… was good but that was the only glimmer of hope in a poor dining experience .. there seems to be unconscious bias towards vegetarians. We were a corporate group of 10 pax and 4 vegetarians and they hardly paid attention to the veggies from service point and repeatedly kept non vegetarian dishes on our table - making the experience for the most part uncomfortable of all restaurants I had stepped out in 2021. So far the die hard vegetarians out there .. I advise to give this place a miss !!!! And as I left hungry home I managed to pick a box of water chestnut dumplings from simpli namdharis and cherished it .. to quel my hunger .. while forgetting the experience ( impact- date 6th December 2021). Ps : my colleagues were not impressed by the chocolate fondue that was served as per them.. it tasted like home made bournvita & Horlicks concotion

Went for dimsum month in october. Appetizer+unlimited dimsum+main+dessert for 1200 rupees plus tax. The food was good and the staff were friendly. Just trying out each dimsum got us full.

The way I have been in awe entering the luxurious lavish Leela Palace, I wasn't so much impressed with this Pan Asian restaurant - Though the restaurant looked beautiful and lavish and wonderful to sit outside on a cool afternoon. Ordered Oolong tea and Lemongrass ginger tea as a started which was subtle and delicious to have as a soothing drink ! The sushi was well made, but didn't have the strong essence of a classic Ebi Tempura uramaki, maybe the avocado spoiled the taste. My guests enjoyed their Burnt garlic fried rice and stir fried vegetables, which is a good sign ! But what falls flat for me was the Pad Thai chicken noodles, which lacked the soothing peanut sauce that would hang on the noodles smoothly instead of it being so thick and sticky! Price was reasonable mostly except for the Signature dishes which was so overpriced ranging above INR 2,000 ($25) for a single dish which is too overpriced. Nevertheless can try this place once with your closed ones !

Nothing in the food stood out. I was joking they could outsource the kitchen to local Chinese joints. Staff was very good and helpful. For a 5* joint you don't need to write about the atmosphere. It's understood.

Must try Tum yum soup - one of the best I had. The menu overall is wide and has lots of options. Great choice for dinner

Ambience was good and so is the food. Prices were a little high but it was worth for an experience. It’s a very lively place.
