Manipal Hospital have the best doctors indeed but the financial and insurance department service is pathetic. It's been 2 weeks still I have not received my deposit refund amount of 9k the department is giving me a pretty lame excuse that the server is down and it might take more 3 days. I can't believe that it's taking them 2 weeks to get the server back online . It takes hardly a day or two to get back the server online not 2 weeks 3 days. I can't believe how they are working if the server is down for 2 weeks. Update today I spoke to financial manager kumar he told me that today he received my payment processing request and by today or tomorrow I might get my refund. It took them 2 weeks time to get the payment refund request to the payment processing person. The staff is playing with people transferring the call to different department people.

Since Manipal overtook the management of this hospital from columbia asia, the quality of the hospital has tumbled down drastically. Their nursing station do not honour the appointment time and they are clueless when to send a patient again back to the doctor, incase doctor asked for a test. The prices have sky rocketed. Though the doctors are good, the management , supporting staff and cost has become worst.

Worst experience!!!! It is not fit for corporate hospital.. worst staff and hospitality. Just looting people for nothing. Staff from main reception to nursing staff is useless people. No direction for patients.. 100โ€™s of people are waiting at ECG without any token and rude response to the crowd. They are good in collecting money and payment section. Once payment is done they donโ€™t even know what are the next steps. Each guy will guide you different things and patients are simply running pillar to post. Patients will become just sick with this pathetic process. Itโ€™s ruthless hospitalโ€ฆ! Better to go to some local clinic rather paying thousands of money in the name of corporate. We have to wait for long time at the canteen for simple coffee and no response. Noticed many patients are screaming every where but no response from staff or any body. Over it was worst experience and never go to this hospital.

I visited the cardiology ward to see my relative who was admitted for chest pain etc. The ICU is clean, spacious, silent, and had several patients. Only one visitor was allowed at a time. The nurses and doctors were helpful and cordial. This hospital is in the heart of the city big, has a basement and front parking. There are multiple storeys. Easy directions to different departments and visiting hours are displayed every where. The waiting areas have comfortable seating. My first short visit. So couldn't check out everything.

These people are fraud star. Please do not admit your patient. While admitting patient they will ask for Security Money but later on you will not get the money back, you have to run behind them and for the same patient no matter how many times you came they will ask again for security money everytime or else they will not admit your patient. This is my request to patient and patient family members kindly do not fall into their trap. There are so many good hospital nearby. Aster Hospital, Baptist Hospital. But please do not go to Manipal Hospital Hebbal and for your kind information my earlier review was deleted by them. Dear Owner, Please check your email box or else ask your finance staff you will get my contact details. Please stop putting 5 star ratings by your own staff. People's are smart enough than you now a days.

if you have an emergency, suggesting to go any other hospital. For temporature check itslef..we have moved from 3 floors. Staff are not aware of so many things. they will be keep asking each other. No quick management of additional things like documentation. After roaming and asking here and there..we have shown to doctor and taken 30 mins of time for giving medicine and billing at pharmacy (only 2 patients in queue including me) This is how they note down their patients records....

Good hospital in the Hebbal Bengaluru area. I visited Diabetologist cum endocinologist Dr. Pallavi Dhruva Rao for may family member, She is very nice doctor and person. The management specialy reception and marketing person are not more active, I booked appointment through Indian Health Organization (IHO) for cunsultation I struglled too much for my appointment in the hospital at the end I paid all spent of appointment and then after 1 hour of argument and folloups the understand and reumbersed my money back against my appointment vouchers. Overall behavior of all staff menbers are good and polite. Parking inside premices is paid. 30.00 Rupees for bike parking. 50.00 Rupees for car parking.

The staff seem to have become less responsive and lax after covid or probably under the new management. These walls have seen better days. This establishment is looking like it's losing its zeal that was once loved and admired.

Pre-Manipal experience was decent. Post-Manipal experience is something I need to highlight. This happened when my elderly parents (Father of 72 years and Mother of 65 years) had visited Manipal Hospitals at Hebbal for consultation few months back. Till date I regret for not being able to accompany them simply because of what they were made to go through. First of all my parents are simple people and were visiting me in Bangalore and they are not very comfortable in any other language apart from their mother tongue. Even understanding this, the hospital staff left no stones unturned to behave as rudely as possible with them. Even as they sent from one nurse station to another and then referred from one doctor/ test to another doctor /test they continued calling and pestering for completing the payments. As if my parents would run away without clearing dues. Even when they were inside the hospital in the doctor's cabin the staff kept calling to clear bills first !!! It is your flawed system that fails to collect payments before sending the patient to the doctor/ test. Do not put your incompetence on the patients !!! Where has your empathy gone ? If you are so commercial then you shut your hospital sorry shop and convert it to a shopping mall and start selling apparels may be. Absolute shame on you for putting my parents through this nuisance. People should take absolute caution before visiting this facility !

5 stars: archana (nicu nurse)was a great nurse, god bless such souls. Facilties are good but there r limited rooms. Raghu at emergency response is a very professional person. Some nurses who put so much effort and help people. Dr sharil hegde was very kind. 0 stars: At the same time there needs better coordination. Emergency room admin and specially mr ankit(if he ever gave his name correctly)needs to be more professional. He behaves like a frustrated person shouting and showing ego unnecessarily on naive patients. He doesnt even wear any mask. He kept shouting unnecessarily in front of our kid suffering breathlessnes. We came to emergency room with my 4 year daughter having breathing difficulty. And the emergency response team asked me to get some meds from pharma, they should start response quickly and not make patients roam around and wait in queues. Evry time in emergency room different people come and ask the patient what the details r, how would patient know and why would u waste time in repeating basic information which is already on system? Attendants forget to give medicine or simplly r so confused. We have to keep reminding the timeline of giving injections and medicines. I would not recommend any emergency cases to come here. Coordination is so slow that even after doctor gave discharge, for 2 hrs no movement happened. Patients are simply troubled. Patients are waiting for lack of beds, discharge patients are waiting to go home, i can help with some process consulting project to close this gap! I regret not taking my daughter to a simpler place like rainbow hospital or even aster cmi. Either have more staff or get some live display board on entry about available beds and appx wait times. Simply charging for 5 star facilities at 2 star delivery will not work for long. I see some poor ignorant people just roaming around helplessly even when they r paying up.

Service has gone down since they changed from Columbia Asia to Manipal. Itโ€™s not the same. Things were a little slow, the hospital was understaffed and the service could be improved. The nurses are very friendly and attentive. Doctors could be more alert and available for the patients. The cafeteria was a little slow in service. It would help if Housekeeping is available upon request. Update: After giving feedback, they were quite responsive and came to ask us if we faced any issues. They were keen to improve. I just want to say that it is not necessarily a problem with the hospital, but the fact that we require more staff available there. This would be very helpful to improve the experiences of patients.

Edit : Well they did call back and checked in on the experience and said that they would improve. And they did . I appreciate that a lot. I scheduled an appointment which had again postponed, however the hospital informed me 1 day in advance. The doctors are good and friendly and my original medical issue resolved within a week. Original : Not the Manipal it used to be. I do not see an honour in commitment of appointment at the appointment time. Had an appointment for today morning. Got a call Enroute to hospital that the doctor will be late by around 2 hours. This was 30 min before scheduled appointment time. I donโ€™t think 30 min is an acceptable time. While these things can happen , a call 1-1.5 hours would have actually helped . Secondly there is 1 alternative doctor who has his/her hands full. The cafeteria is decent and could have been better . The prompt service I received was collection of consultation fees, which is fine as they have to activate the case, and second at the nurses counter which did a good job of taking all vitals promptly. The medical treatment is completely doctor dependent .

Worst management no proper guidance from staff and everyone are simply waiting even doctors donโ€™t have other patients to attend. Iโ€™m still waiting here from 3hrs. After consulting the doctor he suggested me to check with Audiometry but there is no one from 2hrs I have pictures of proof. Before Colombia hospital was good management.. really very bad experience even charges are very high.. just a small consultation we need to wait for 4to5hrs.

The outpatient consultation fees is ridiculously high for all doctors. 800 - 1000 Rupees minimum for pediatric , dermatology and ENT doctors who will suggest same medicines as any other similarly qualified doctor at a different hospital. Most times they ask you to come back for a consultation after 2-5 days for review which means you have to pay the consultation fee once again. Suggest to avoid and opt for a more appropriately priced hospital.

If I there is negative star I could have given. -10 to this hospital, I have severe abdominal pain n the customer care said he will arrange a video call with doctor to understand and suggest me medication but then no body turned n again I called up they said by mistake the person gave appointment, they are just playing with the patients to earn money they donโ€™t give medicine which is prescribed by doctors and give local medicine, thus happend to me when I visited last time hospital worst staff no proper treatment

Have had an excellent experience at Manipal Hospital Hebbal. My mom was admitted for about a week and the staff was very responsive. Special call out to Anjan who mans the insurance desk. He's super efficient and works at an incredible pace. I've experienced insurance at this hospital in the past as well but never had such a response.

    1. One of the worst servicing pharmacyโ€ฆ Charged doubled even the specific medicine was not givenโ€ฆ 2. Doctor consultation is hefty โ‚น800 over and above parking charges โ‚น50/hr! Encouraging to park outside for the patients. 3. Speak only in English as if they donโ€™t encourage locals and villagers! This is outrageous.

They are doing day robbery. You pay and visit the doctor and if you just want to show the reports next day, you are again asked to pay Rs.250. This is ridiculous. Their phone is always non responsive. Instead of just collecting money, please focus on some basic service. To enquire whether my reports are ready, I have tried 5 times and till now no one attended. If its collecting money they will reach by any means and there will be no limits on using technology to reach us. But providing service all barriers will be place. Worst Worst worst PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE FIRST TO COLLECT HIGH SERVICE FEE.

.My experience with Columbia Asia hospital , Hebbal was excellent.. September 13th I was admitted there for hysterectomy.. next day after surgery I got discharged..And happily left to home.. It was very good experience... Dr Shafalika is an awesome doctor, whom I can recommend to anyone.. The nursing team ..they were excellent in their service, which provide me good comfort during my hospital stay.. , Front office staffs, operation theater team ,house keeping staffs, billing department and cafe team were also very good in there service.. I felt a homely atmosphere in hospital..

Even after the Merger, Patients' data was not synched with the main Manipal branches & new registration was being taken after showing so much of impatience and took a lot of time. The front office staff is rude and really requires patient management orientation. Within 3 days Hospital charges a Fee for follow-up or to show the diagnostic reports which generally no hospital charges. Manipal group is known for its caring & professionalism toward its patients which is missing in the Hebbal branch( Previously Columbia Asia). Treating Doctors are excellent. No doubt about it. Hope this feedback helps the senior management to work on these missing areas and improve upon them.

Its simply four walls with marble floors and some people roaming around in green, blue scrubs and some rooms that claim to be seating doctors. Definitely not a hospital and definitely not genuine medical staff. If there is a hospital from hell, this is it. I am just waiting for some clarity post which will get my mother discharged and go to a government hospital instead. And soon after things get a little better, I will sue them.

Visited the hospital for my wife's maternity journey. It has been a really good experience. Dr. Lakshmi H K had guided us throughout the process and been a real support not only to us but to our family members too. The nurse, OT staffs and everyone coordinated so well and were very helpful. Kudos to the entire Manipal hospital team.

One of the top most worst hospital I have ever seen. I have taken my dad as he was having back pain and doctor said he has kidney stones and it need to be removed. I said okay and next day they did operation they charged me 2lakhs 12 thousands and said 95 percent stones are cleared and we have to come back again for check up ... when we went again for check up they said still there are small stones and again they did operation and again they charged us 1lakh 25 thousands ... they asked me how much insurance I have and they just looted nearly 3 lakhs insurance money and I additionally paid 45k from my hand ... never visit this hospital (never) , there are a lot better hospitals outside

Very good hospital in the area. Management is little messy at times, but not always. Staffs are helpful. Have enough parking space and have emergency ward. Have kids area for kids to play, cafeteria, radiology and all possible departments. Except the mess at times. I recommend everyone to visit without thinking twice.

I went with my wife to this place. Due to severe stomach pain. Now I will mention point by point what has happened. 1- They told me doctor is not available so go for emergency checkup and I agreed. After meeting doctor he confirm by performing some observation that itโ€™s either acute appendicitis or kidney stone and ask us to admit her immediately. Then he said they have to operate her ASAP and the amazing question was asked by doctor is :- โ€œDO YOU HAVE INSURANCEโ€ ?? Doctor is their to treat patients or for payment enquiries?? I agree to admit my wife. 2- I went to account section of hospital and asked them for quotation for overall costs. They gave around 2lakh INR. And said price will vary based on procedures. And asked me to select a room. I have selected single room because of currently pandemics situation and they told this room covers all tests and nurse costs. And whatever tests not required patients to come to test room will do in room only. But immediately after taking 10k as security they asked me to take my wife for blood tests while few minutes back they told minor tests can be performed in room only. She was not able to sit or stand up. She kept crying and shouting in front of blood tests room but noone came to help even I went inside and asked them they just said wait. Then account section guy came and asked them to do. And noone was available there so he asked me to go to room. Why did you guys lied that minor tests will be in room because I paid for that?? 3- After reaching room their interns came to put syringe on her hand for saline THEY INSERTED NEEDLE 8 TIMES IN HER HAND BUT COULD NOT succeed. After that nurse came and same thing happened. She kept requesting do not trying like this but they kept playing. 5- Night around 10pm she went for CT scan where a doctor came and again put NEEDLE on her hand. 6- After CT scan we went to room and they said do not eat or drink anything till doctor operates you tomorrow. And we did it. 7- Night they kept saline and whenever bottle was getting empty I was calling them to change they even do not know when they have to change based on flow ?? 8- In room their were some communication device was present which was not working properly. For all assistance we went to waaroon and used that device?? YOU GUYS ARE CHARGING LAKH INR DAILY BUT CANT FIX THIS KIND OF ISSUE BEFORE ALLOCCATING ROOM TO A PATIENT?? When I asked them to fix it they said morning they will fix night I have to go to bathroom and use that device for assistance?? 3- When we asked them at night for washroom help THEY REMOVED SALINE PIPE BUT FORGOT TO CLOSE THE VALVE ON HER HAND AND BLOOD STARTED FALLING FROM THAT. I called them immediately to clean the blood from floor but no one came at night morning after night they cleaned it?? IS THIS CALLED THE CLEANILESS AFTER PAYING 12000 PER DAY?? In pandemic you guys are making such type of hygiene ?? 4- Next day morning a nurse came and wrote next to patientโ€™s bed that she have acute appendicitis. That image I have added over here. While as per doctor and CT scan she neither acute appendicitis or kidney stones. THEN WHY WRONG INFORMATION WAS MENTIONED?? 5- I asked when doctor will visit they said he is in operation theatre and will be soon here later they said he did not come to hospital he will come around 4pm?? While I kept searching him all around the places. ARE YOU GUYS AWARE ABOUT YOUR DOCTORS SCHEDULE?? 6- Finally we got frustrated and my wife in that poor condition woke up from bed to go to doctor cabin and ask him to discharge. Doctors said she do not have any stones issue. It might be because of bones or Gynaecologist issue. He immediately send 1 orthopedist, 1 surgeon and 1 Gynaecologists. They started asking questions and hardly 1 min orthopedist and surgeon left. WITHOUT KNOWING THE PROPER CAUSE ONE THEY KEPT COMING?? Did I asked you to send them?? 7- When I went to pay the bill they have added dietician and other doctors (including inserting syringe) charges to the bill. While she was without food and drink for entire time?? PROFESSIONAL THIEVES

First review: Facility staff and cleanliness is missing Review post call with Manipal team : I spent a good 5 hrs in that hospital for tests and consultations. While the doctors are good the helping staff have no clue. Especially the utility staff. Even after I raised the complaint they couldn't arrange tissue rolls hence u see the hand paper tissues kept on top of the flush. In 5 hrs that's what they can do! Terrified to visit the toilets. The cafeteria is another story , the service is super slow , looks under staffed. The hospital admin should spend more time in keeping the facilities clean

Have been using the facilities here for five years. Though it has been said that this hospital is on the pricier side, I have found the care to be satisfying. Well designed building with adequate waiting areas and helpful staff. Wait times are reasonable in the out patient department. Parking can be a bit cumbersome during peak hours. The ambience is good and the place is clean and hygienic.

Our family has been visiting this hospital from the time it was established in Hebbal and so far we have had OK kind of experience. Recently, I consulted *Dr. Suma* (Gynaecologist) for a Uterus problem. She is the worst doctor I have come across till date, has lots of attitude and is very very rude. For anything I spoke or asked she just flared up and gave rude answers. She may be a senior doctor, but she should learn to respect patients and speak to them properly. She does not know the basics of good communication or the good manners of speaking to people. Being a doctor does not mean they can speak to their patients in whatever way they want. They are not treating us for free, at least not in this hospital which has become worst off late. In fact I paid consultation fees twice within a week's time to listen to her rudeness. Very bad๐Ÿ‘Ž

Recently visited columbia asia Hospital for an emergency. Initial hiccups related insurance and other stuffs were there with respect to admission into the wards. The staff especially in patient co ordinator Prasaana pitched in and thereafter everything was courteous, helpful and very attentive. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for something similar services. Prasanna, who was taking personal care, even followed up on the health of the patient even after discharge. A person like Prasanna should be there in each and every hospital which would take the hospital and health care industry to the next level in India. Understand during this covid situation health care industry was under tremendous pressure, but the way prasanna co ordinated with each and every department was exemplary. Along with Prasanna, i met Catherine - head of nursing staff, all nursing staff of nurse station C, head of house keeping etc. I extend my sincere thanks for everyone who came and interacted and responded. Again, Prasanna who took this initiative in arranging all this provides a feeling of oneness. I strongly recommend columbia asia for my people who are in need to medical attention.

The attendants Ms.Sohini and Ms. Anindita were helpful in procuring the respective first vaccine certificate from the cowin app seamlessly. The nurses who are also our early contacts at this hospital Mrs Suja and Ms.Nimmi gave us a fine experience. Take the opportunity to thank these God sent angels during the pandemic times.

My spouse Mr. H. Shivakumar (MRN # 72921) underwent Master Health checkup on 15th Nov, 2021. This health check covers Opthalmology. When my husband met the doctor, she checked the eyes and said its fine and refrained to give the readings (diopters) of his vision. I am surprised to listen to this. Your package master health check up is intended to find out the lacunae and inform the same to patients so that they can go for necessary treatment. If the power reading cannot be shared with the patient then what is the point in covering eye check under your master health program. We wanted to give this feedback at the hospital itself and waited for 15 minutes to meet the concerned, but we could not meet him/her in person since he/she did not turn up. I do hope that you will make a note of this feedback and take corrective action.

Reason for coming here initially was that I was aware from prior experience that radiology services were available overnight. The treatment and consultation with Orthopaedic Dr. Ravi Kelkar was helpful. The minor procedure for fractures are treated as part of OPD. It helps to keep the MRN Number ready for any transactions at the hospital if possible. There's a cafeteria in the premises and there's a children's play area near the OPD.

The sanity of the hospital is top notch and so as the caring of the staff. The patience to treat the patients is impeccable and every staff is very meticulously taking care. I went for my pregnancy checkupโ€™s to Dr.Vijaya sherbeth. Her calm composure and ability to diagnose the situations is helping me to enjoy my pregnancy journey with less hassle

Two years back I gave 5 star for Columbia, for they were quick, efficient, care and find solution in matter of minutes at emergency. But now after manipal take over it's very slow, inefficiency and slower thinkers than Columbian management, no bright minds in the emergency. This is my review after many visits to the hospital. Slower each time, gives invalid reasons for their slowness.

Do not and I mean it. Do not get ur test done here. I got my MRI report in 4days. My wife CT scan and blood report also they messed up. Manipal as a whole its good. But this branch is literally useless, no doctors. We pay premium to Manipal to get best and fast care. But they have taken people and patients for granted. Will not recommend anyone to come here if they really care for their loved ones.

Aisha the customer case supervisor was fantastic. We couldnโ€™t get an appointment with Dr. Abhijit but needed to see him urgently for my mother. She was so kind and proactive and spoke to the doctor immediately and he kindly agreed to see her. Following that we needed a cardiologist appointment as well which she booked for my mother. Aisha has been so helpful and people like her is what makes a hospital visit comforting. ๐Ÿ™

Had an amazing dental procedure experience with Dr. Sindhu and Dr. Bhargav for my wife Manisha. From start to finish, they were professional, caring, and made me feel at ease. Their expertise, explanations, and exceptional care made this a top-notch experience. Highly recommend them for anyone seeking excellent dental care.

Consulting Dr Suma C as my obstetrician was the best decision that I made with respect to my pregnancy. She is extremely meticulous with her work and made me feel very comfortable through my pregnancy. I had many complications but she identified them at an early stage and continuously monitored the same to ensure a safe delivery. During the delivery, the baby had the umbilical chord wrapped around its neck and the doctor took decisions as per the situation and ensured a smooth normal delivery. To sum it up she was a rock star.

The best hospital experience till now. We got proper guidance from doctors, tests were done to get to the root cause and the diagnosis that few other hospitals missed was given. The doctors patiently made us understand each process, test and treatment. 10/10 on hygiene too. Excellent doctors and nurses. Nurses were kind, compassionate. Even the ground staff was well aware how to be around patients and their families.. The technicians were supportive and accommodating. Also, the admin staff at counters was polite, respectful and patient. Overall, every staff member was kind and patient and did their work with smile. Grateful to have found a place that we can now trust with any medical condition. May your tribe increase caregivers. Gratitude.

And after treatment she herself calls and follow up their condition. She is Excellent Doctor, simple, superb human being, approachable, friendly approach with smiling face with her selfless service. She is an extraordinary intelligent Doctor with humanitarian values.Hardly find such Doctor in this Era.. May God bless her. Best wishes for bright future.

This is our first visit to Manipal Hospital in Hebal. It is not easy to visit the hospital as a foreigner, but when I met Mr. Vishal, the international coordinator, it went smoothly. He kindly introduced all the processes suitable for the purpose of the visit, and we were able to see the doctor on time. We really appreciated him, the nurses and the doctors as well. We will definitely visit the hospital again with this good impression.

Amazing service.cant thank the doctors and staff in emergency department. They have kept up to the trust we have always had in Columbia Asia hospital hebbal.yesterday we roamed so many hospitals for hours together and finally some hospital even told my patient has heart attack and we cant take non covid patient. We kept calling hospitals and finally called one Dr Mahesh Mylarappa in the midnight and without delay he said come immediately and also arranged ambulance and we reached hebbal in 10mins and our patient was immediately taken inside and treated. They calmed us down and admitted him within no time. Thanks Dr Mahesh Mylarappa and team for helping us in such horrible situation. God bless u all. Real warriors.

VERY BAD! My grandfather was not a COVID-19 patient and needed emergency life support, columbia asia hebbal refused to give that to him when the beds were available, made my family wait for 90 mins outside the hospital with my grandfathers life of the line. My family had to plead the doctors for a very long time but, they refused to give my grandfather life support when the beds were available. WHICH HAS COST HIM HIS LIFE AND WE BLAME THE HOSPITAL FOR NOT HELPING MY GRANDFATHER. It is not just the COVID-19 patients that need the hospital, there are patients with other types of medical issues that need help as well.

Horrible is the word to describe this place. Gave an OPD appointment for 12pm in neurology during lockdown. This was at 10 am. I reached the hospital, did the registration, made the payment and went to neurology deptt, just to be told that the doc is not coming today. The. I was taken to a suit booted madam who told me the doc hasnt been coming for the last week and may not come next week also. Wasted 2 hrs of mine when urgent medical attention was needed. Even for refund they were bargaining fo refund only the consultation charges and not the registration charges. Also, be careful as billing for non covid and covid patients is done in the same counters. Its worse than a government hospital. Money is all they want.

Hatsoff to Dr. Mahesh who halped me to get admission in columbia Asia for the treatment. Took my mother to Columbia Asia hospital on 31st July 2020 for persistent cough .As usual to make a quick buck referred to a pulmonologist Dr Hirenappa Udur, who did a video call and asked to do a CT scan .To rule out any Covid symptoms we did the scan too. They made us wait for close To 2 to 3 hours and while it came for time to consult the doctor on the scan report, he had left the hospital premises .The help desk asked us to call the next day and fix an appointment for video consultation. I tried doing the video consultation the next day but hospital did not do it and were asking money even for a follow up consultation.I told them it's a follow up consultation but they preferred to keep silent. Finally I consulted a doctor outside .Their service now is pathetic, they don't respect the patients time and keep you waiting like doing a favour. For just doing a consultation I went in the morning by 11 am and only finished by 4 pm .The hospital staff treat patients like dirt and only interested in fleecing patients of their money by asking them to do costly tests but service is never a priority to the hospital Hope the management take notice of the development and take action.

Then what is the meaning of consultation charges. It means just to see the face of doctor we have to pay the consultation charges? Too expensive. * After removed wax given lot of tablets to take. And after one day fungus as started in my ears. Worst ENT specialist. * too much of Tablets are not good for health. * It's not hospital it's money making business this hospital is doing. *They charged for registration but didn't given smart card also. * Pls respect the patients money and treatment is worst.

During such grim situation, where we had lost hopes about admission, Dr. Mahesh patiently helped with the admission. He was kind enough to follow up on a regular basis right from bed allotment to recovery. We take this opportunity to thank every staff member - Dr. Hirenappa, sisters, support staff, cafe, insurance, lap technicians who have ensured relentless service in our road to recovery. The wards are maintained well with good hygiene. Dr. Mahesh, take a bow! You doctors are no less than Gods. My recent experience with Columbia Asia Hospital in Hebbal. I visited the hospital on Tuesday to consult Dr. Umesh Gupta cardiologist. My appointment time was 1.30pm. we were ready to meet the doctor by 1.40pm after billing and other procedures. The doctor was sitting inside a small room with the table divided with a protective sheet. In the same room the other side ECG and Echo test were taken for the patients. There was no concern of any privacy maintaining for the patients consulting the doctor because the door is opened and the patients are waiting outside for their turns. No representative was present to coordinate the patients turn for consultation. After waiting for 45mins we realised that we are not been called as per the list or time of appointment it was just random walk-ins going on . When asked the nurse there she was so rude to answer and simply shut the door of her room. Finally consulted the doctor along with other patients knowing my history ๐Ÿ˜ž . The doctor suggested to take ECG and Echo and was done by the nurse. Now by this time all other patients started shouting for unorganised wait time so another representative was called to help the crowd. That guy without any clue he simply wrote down the names and sent them in with no proper background check. Now my turn came to consult Dr. Umesh with test reports the nurse gave half of the report and the other half was yet to be prepared. Now the dr got angry with the patient ( that is me) instead of nurse who has not completed her work on time and yelled at us not to meet him and waste his time until we get the full report and asked us to GET OUT OF THE ROOM. I have some more bitter happenings there during the same visit but my point is why is this hospital has been very bad in patient interaction. I would strongly suggest not to visit Columbia Asia and Dr. Umesh Gupta unless your fine to spend your money to completely unworthy treatment they give. To me doctors are people who understand the emotion better than the person suffering but here to my suprise I don't know how he became a doctor. please don't VISIT COLUMBIA ASIA AND DR. UMESH GUPTA. THEIR BILLING is another nightmare charging every single patient with extra 100rs as PPE kit cost for doctors as if he uses new PPE suit for each patient. If I have an option to rate 0 or less than that would be happy to rate that for this hospital.

Despite having network / connectivity issues with the COWIN software which was outside their control, the entire staff led by Dr Mylarappa was very responsive and helping. Developments regarding starting the process were informed every now and then. We were comfortably seated and once the process started at 12.50 pm, within an hour, about 25 persons were administered the vaccine. Worst experience, small hospitals provide far better services. There is no coordination among departments. No transparency in Bills. My Father in law is admitted there around 1:33 am. and morning 9 am we were been sent bill of INR 47, 000. By evening, the bill exceeded to 77,000 and so on next day morning it crossed 1 lac. No one tells the exact condition of patient . Even, when we try to connect to any concerned SPOC, they disconnect the call in between. Even parking charges they have kept Rs. 50 per hour. Everything in this hospital seem only for business purpose but service and other experiences are worst. Pathetic hospital and staff members. I would never recommend any person to visit this hospital.

If you have lots of money like lakhs and lakhs, please get the treatment done here, as suggested in the reviews below half of the treatment you will not understand why they did, other half will go on consultations which never happened, be ready for bloated price for simple things making your bill look fat and heavy. While there are very few docs who are genuine, I strongly do not recommend this place

This review is regarding their comprehensive health package- 40+ years female - Charged 6500 rs. Basic tests like electrolytes and blood urea not included. Had to pay 1000 rs extra for that. Dental screening was not done as doctor was not available, even though it was part of the package. No deduction was provided for the same. Pap smear was not recommended as my mother was 60+. When asked then why is it included in the package, no satisfactory answer Was given. Again no deduction was provided for the same. I strongly suggest the management to come up with a senior citizen package like other hospitals rather than clubbing them with 40+ females and charging money for tests which are not recommended for that age group. It's basically cheating the customers. Other than these, the remaining tests were smoothly done, breakfast was good and Dr Umesh explained everything very well to us.

Looks like they only want to make quick money but not provide minimum service. Be ready for long queue n unnecessary delays when visiting them.

I hospitalized my mother for renal issues. Prior to Columbia asia, I had been to several hospitals. This hospital has been the best to approach so far. Firstly , the main doctor we consulted was very clear with our issues and he gave a very good explanation about the treatment (patiently he heard the medical history and made a note of those). After 2 months of review (OPd) We were advised for admission due severity. Second, insurance department, very polite (specially Ameer, Chandra and nandini) so neatly they explain the procedure and guided me from day 1 till discharge. Next, nursing in the ward, many nurses specially Neethu in LDR department, and almost everyone were very professional. Jayasheela madam also very kind in taking the feedback and ensuring the issues are fixes immediately. IP department very kind. Management, facility, housekeeping everyone are very profession and things went very smooth until our stay. I would definitely recommend columbia asia as they are not like any other hospital (atleast few) who will loot money and scare us. They charge reasonable as per the treatment. Their followup system is excellent. If we trust , certainly we are benefited. Thanks to whole team of this columbia asia.

Parking fee 30 rupees for 2wheeler and 40 rupees for 4wheeler which will increase each hour. Confused staff, they will send you here and there for billing, payment etc. Doctor is good. Each and everything you touch will cost you. If you take xray, the report will be sent to your mail ID, but if you need xray film that will involve additional cost apart from the amount that you paid for taking xray. In short, service not worth for the money they are taking.

They will take appointments but they will ask patients to wait more than 2 hours or more. In that case why should patient has to book an appointment. My grandmother was admitted in cardiology department, excellent doctors who explain condition , prognosis and treatment plan in simple manner . But the nursing care is way below expectation. In the ICU , they delayed giving meals to her and even yelled at her . And in the wards , a minimum of three reminders for administer insulin for each meal . Medications at night are given at 10:15pm , well after the patient is asleep . It's a pitiable state of affairs because the doctors are amazing.

On June 28th, 2023, I made an appointment at this hospital for my daughter, as she was experiencing cough and fever. The doctor provided some prescriptions to address her symptoms. However, after two days, she developed ear pain, prompting me to contact Manipal Hospital for a follow-up visit. The person who answered the call assured me that the doctor was available and instructed me to come immediately. Within 15 minutes, I arrived at the hospital. The lady at the front desk said that the doctor was only available in the morning. With no other options, I reluctantly consulted a new doctor, incurring an additional cost of 800rs(they were not ready to pay the doctor prescription without paying the fees). This kind of situation has occurred multiple times at Manipal Hospital. Furthermore, none of the prescribed medications were available at the hospital's pharmacy. Need to pay 50rs as parking fee , even if you keep the vehicle for 15mnt. Other than these, It is frustrating that even in severe cases, a bed is not provided until a room becomes available, even if the intention is to be admitted. I sat in the reception for 6hours with high fever just because of unavailability of rooms.i have seen many of them with same condition (atleast the hospital should provide a place to take rest till the room is available). We need to deposit 10k before getting admitted. After claiming insurance they had to give 6k as a refund, but I would have called 3,4 times to get that refund. finally I ended up going directly to the hospital to claim that refund.

The staff is incompetent. Dealing with them was tedious. The staff at the Gastro department- Fatima and another technician ( Male) didn't know anything. Fatima made me wait for 30 minutes for no reason. I just needed a 30 seconds time with the doctor to confirm if the tests that were ordered were correct. I kept requesting her to let me meet the doctor but she sent others without paying any heed to what I had to say. A complete waste of time and money. The nurses at the lab don't know anything either. They were apparently enjoying poking needles for blood test, they were calling each other to find the VEIN and having fun time. Apparently my mother was their practice TOY. 6 needle marks to find a vein. WOW. Vishal Rao, the cashier doesn't know anything. I kept telling him that I only need one test today, but he anyways went ahead and billed me for whatever he thought the tests were. Because you see, asking the doctor what he wanted was worthless for him, he preferred asking those noob nurses who didn't even know how to look for a vein. Later doctor informed me that it was the wrong test and the tests they were going to do were the same that i had already got. Waste of blood, waste of money, waste of time. Later, i went for refund as i had to come back home. Now i was assuming that since it is the hospital's mistake, it should be resolved peacefully, but no... Ms Aisha thought of dealing with it without even listening to my issue. She got defensive and justified why her staff did what they did. Overall, it was hectic dealing with people at MANIPAL HEBBAL. the doctors are amazing, undoubtedly, but before we reach the doctors, we deal with these buffoons and this is troublesome. I would rather go to a clinic.

The hospital staff is pretty welcoming. The services are up-to international standards. Just one thing which annoys is they charge you parking fee even if you are spending thousands of money for treatment, something which hampers the brand value of Manipal. Other than that , everything seems to be valuable.

One of many prominent hospitals found in Bangalore. Found good service when visited last time for an emergency visit. All the necessary tests were done in quick time and results were provided pretty quick as well even thoughit was around 10 PM. Duty doctors were good in informing the details on regular basis. But horrible experience, they mother is doing fine and tried to feed the baby and again after few hours they said mother had brain stroke or tissue damage. When mother was doing fine after c-section how did she had brain stroke? What is the truth ? Till date baby is waiting to see her mother.

Writing this review after a month of my delivery. Initially they made to delete the review when I was in hospital. The nurse and doctors are very irresponsible in labour ward. They donโ€™t even care about the patients, we used to call them multiple times for help. But still no proper response and treatment. They treat like we were there for free and treating us for free. Government hospitals are far far better than this hospital. I made a very big mistake by going there. Even after shifting to room, no proper treatment, doctors get confused with patients history and give wrong information. Very less staff. Coming to price they charge you double the estimation. Cost of food in cafe is history, you need atleast 500 for two people per meal.

Hi , Whomever it concerns to in Manipal hebbal. Really disappointed with the nursing staff here.My grandfather got admitted for kidney stunt replacement. Doctors are really good thanks to Preetham Dev and srinivas raju , but few nursing staff not even responding for any things that's required. He has a rice tube and has to be fed for every 2 hours even though we informed them earlier until we say no one even approaches to fed my grandfather. Even while discharging nursing staff or any other helper staff isn't responding to get his on to ambulance instead asking ambulance driver and helper to get shift him. What sort of management is this , even less Reputed hospital does it better. Really disappointed with way it's been done However doctors are really good , nursing staff and management should take a deep leap of change and should learn to respect patients. Thank you

The hospital's patient care is good. The staff here Doctors, Nurses, Pantry etc is good. The surgeon who treated & operated my husband for Umbilical hernia is very good. The only concern hear is there is no bed facility to the attendant of the patient in the general ward catagory , where 5 patients are accommodated in one room, not even a small bench except one chair at the night time. The hospital should understand that attendants are also human, and they also need rest at the night time. The price of IPD, surgery are high compared to other good hospitals of same category in Bangalore.
