Small outfield, high scoring pitch. Now they have added new pole type floodlights replacing the older ones, which will give a brighter light for lesser power. Solar panels are installed on the roof. One of the very few stadiums in the world with rainwater drainage facility which enables the the field to soak up water within 10 minutes after rain stops. Lot of traffic expected during matches. Has metro connectivity

Located in the heart of the garden city and near to the Cubbon park metro station. Though it's a small stadium as compared to other stadium but It's one of the best stadium in India and crowd here marvelous. Enjoying the match with full crowd is truly amazing. Ticket prices are little bit expensive as compared to other stadium in India. Overall experience is good.

I had visited the stadium for WPL 2024 for RCB's match and the atmosphere was electrifying. The crowd was great and cheering for each and every moment. I enjoyed every bit of the match. When coming to the stadium make sure you don't carry any metal objects, water bottles, make-up kit, food items because they won't allow inside the stadium and there will be strict checking also for the same. The seats were arranged nicely and the view was great. The washroom facility was also there.

One of the oldest and prestigious stadium. Need some renovation so that it is favourable for spectators especially air circulation…. H lower stand not spectators friendly…. No seat numbers and had excess crowd where you can’t leave your seat… Food was cheap 👌👌 Outside of Gate 7 was extremely horrible where waste was dumped… Only higher priced stands were maintained properly….

I have visited quite a few matches. Ticket prices are bit expensive compared to other stadiums. This particular test paytm managed and they did quite well managing 100% crowd.. There are some seats would be covered by pillars and you won't get entire ground visibility. They can definitely renovate stands to give best experienceto viewer. I didn't like crowd shouting RCB in India matches, it's disrespectful for players who are playing there. Overall match experience was good as it was first day night test match in Bangalore. Pitch would've have been better.

Worst experience to watch NZ vs PAK cwc match in this stadium. Opted for premium seating by shelling our 6000rs per ticket and feeling cheated. Some of the key highlights of watching a match here are broken chairs for seating, dirt all around in the stand, unhygienic bathrooms without water, a big mess in eating area with no proper billing system and food disposal system, security personnel abusing and manhandling normal public for no reason etc. No water in the bathrooms during entire 9 hours duration of the match. My honest advise to all cricket fans is to avoid wasting your time and money in this madness and better watch the match broadcast on TV for the peace of your mind. Watch matches in stadium like this is a big torture to yourself.

The seat was not comfortable in the C stand. There is a very minimal gap between the front seat to our knees. Can't be able to adjust even though you have normal size legs. One more big drawback is ticket entry level. Need some special arrangements for gate entry.

Chinnaswamy stadium and the fans are literally awesome. I went for day-night test match but the crowd made the test match like a t20 match. The stadium is Marvellous and the foods are also good but price is little higher. If you want to see players nearly I'll suggest pavilion side stands. The sound system in the ground and they use it to cheer the crowd was crazy... No words to explain. You have to experience in real time. Atleast watch one match in Chinnaswamy then you'll feel the same❤️

I went for the India vs Australia T20 game here in December 2023. The view was spectacular and it was a cracker of a contest. We were under the stands, so whatever little drizzle came, we would be protected. The food sold in the stadium is very decently priced unlike during the World Cup. The crowd & the atmosphere were very lively. Would want to come here again especially for a T20 game

I recently had the pleasure of visiting M Chinnaswamy Stadium to witness the thrilling ICC Men's World Cup cricket match between England and Sri Lanka. This stadium is renowned for its rich history of hosting top-tier cricket tournaments, including the IPL, BCCI matches, and ICC events. The stadium's cricket ground and pitch were impeccably maintained, a testament to the high standards of cricket it upholds. The lighting, scoreboards, and other amenities were also in excellent condition. However, the seating arrangement left much to be desired. I had purchased a 750 Rs ticket through Bookmyshow, and for this price, the quality of seating was disappointingly uncomfortable. My visit was further marred by some inconveniences, particularly at the stadium's security gates. Staff members were adamant about not allowing visitors to bring in everyday items such as food, Bluetooth headsets, and water bottles. While security is crucial, some flexibility for basic necessities could significantly enhance the overall experience. I strongly recommend attendees to leave non-essential belongings at home and only bring their mobile phones and wallets to avoid the frustrating experience we encountered at the baggage counter. Speaking of the baggage tent, the situation there was alarming, with pushing, crushing, and a lack of discipline. It's essential for the stadium management to address these issues to ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for all attendees. On a positive note, I must commend the food vendors who frequented the stands. Their offerings were reasonably priced, making it convenient for spectators to enjoy a variety of snacks and refreshments. In summary, M Chinnaswamy Stadium undoubtedly offers an incredible cricket experience, but I'd advise future visitors to consider higher-priced seating options to ensure greater comfort. With a few improvements in security procedures and seating arrangements, this stadium could truly become a cricket enthusiast's paradise. Signing Off Hiral Amodia (Insta : amodiahs)

Decent stadium, but one of the oldest structures. Stadium required mass amount of renovation as it looks very outdated when compared to other stadiums in India. Recently went for Australia vs Pakistan match, H Lower stand had poor seating with absolutely poor leg spacing making it very harder for taller and aged people. Staffs were rude and did not allow India flag inside stands. Also, they allowed 20 minutes late more than actual allowed times. Only good thing was cheap pricing of food items inside stadium. Based on my recent visit to NZ vs PAK WC match, i was terribly disappointed with security personals, they did not allow me to wear my winter wear jacket, as it was black in color. When i questioned they responded rudely stating even if it is Rs 2000 or 10000 they can't allow and forced me to keep it at gate. When i went inside so many people were wearing black Jacket or T Shirt..I dont know what is the difference between Black Jacket and black T shirt, as if wearing black Jacket would show negativity and not T Shift. When i questioned them they were not accepting my statement.

Chinnaswamy Stadium, located in Bangalore, India, is a renowned cricket venue with a capacity of over 38,000 spectators. Named after M. Chinnaswamy, the former president of the Indian cricket board, the stadium is known for its lively atmosphere and excellent facilities. It has hosted numerous international and domestic matches, witnessing memorable moments in cricket history. The pitch at Chinnaswamy is known to be batsman-friendly, often leading to high-scoring and entertaining contests. The iconic venue stands as a symbol of Karnataka's passion for cricket and its rich sporting heritage. On 12.11.23 men's one day world cup was held between India and Scotland. It was a feast for Indian fans. Seating arrangements in P1 annex stand was very nice. Snacks and dinner was complimentary. Dinner was lavish like marriage reception of rich family.

I had the pleasure of attending the WPL 2024 match between RCB and UP Warriors yesterday, and it was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was electric, with passionate fans cheering on their teams. The crowd was lively, adding to the excitement of the game. What's more, the availability of food made it convenient to enjoy the match without any interruptions. I highly recommend the N Stand for the best view of the action. The vantage point provided by the stand allowed for a clear and unobstructed view of the entire field. The uploaded pictures speak for themselves – the view from N Stand is simply breathtaking! Whether you're a die-hard cricket fan or just looking for a memorable outing, this is the place to be. Don't miss out on the opportunity to witness top-notch cricket with an unbeatable view.

It's one of the best cricket stadiums in India. The atmosphere here is fantastic. Some great and historical matches were played here. Recently I had been here for the Ind vs Afg t20i match which had 2 super overs and the whole crowd went crazy. This is the home ground for Royal Challengers Bangalore team in IPL. The fans are extremely loyal and the chants RCB.... RCB.... goes on no matter what match is being played here. The best stands to view match are P3, P1, A Stand, P Terrace, M2. H upper and lower stands do not have proper seats and they don't have seat number soo it will be crowded. It's also the cheapest stands soo there will be a lot of people.

A good cricket stadium with amazing views from the stands. Almost all the seats in all the stands provide a great view of the pitch as well as due to the size of the ground the game feels very realistic. The actions in the game can be seen very clearly as the stadium is relatively small, which works best for the audience's experience. The experience of watching a match at this stadium is worthwhile. But, the only major problem here is the parking for vehicles, approach roads and the overcrowding in the only available and feasible mode of transport - metro (Cubbon Park Metro Station)

This is an iconic venue that has many historic memories under it. I came to witness one more for New Zealand 🇳🇿 Vs Pakistan 🇵🇰 of the World Cup 2023. The stadium had a vibe for the World Cup that was not there for the IPL matches which I witnessed earlier. Things were arranged pleasingly. The ground, pitch, advertising boards etc were arranged pleasingly. Food, toilet, and seating facilities were better than in previous encounters. Chinnaswamy was renovated for this World Cup and that shows up. Foot stalls had a variety of items from pizza, and rolls to dosa with average taste at little elevated prices. I am putting on 5 💫 only for this World Cup vibe and for a better spectator experience otherwise only 4 💫. P.S.: I'm writing this review live from the stadium as rain playing its part. New Zealand posted a mammoth total of 401 runs but Pakistan now has a revised target of 342. Fakhar Zaman is playing phenomenally and after a little drizzle, Babar Azam also joined the party. Pakistan 🇵🇰 already leading in DLS(🦆worth Lewis Score). Maybe I will not edit this review later to reveal the result but I must say a day well spent.

One of the best cricket stadiums in India. Boundaries are small when compared to other cricketing grounds but best in class pitches, dressing room(as mentioned by players in interviews). The entry to the stands are through different gates for which it's neatly organized by Karnataka State Cricket Association(KSCA). The stadium is also the home ground for the IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore or RCB as its fondly called which gets huge support for all the matches it plays in Bengaluru. This stadium has witnessed lot of great international matches be it test, ODI or T20Is and also some thrilling nail biting IPL matches. Not to forget this is the home ground for Karnataka Ranji team as well.

It's an amazing experience. The crowd of Bengaluru makes it extraordinary. The checking is pretty strict though...not many items are allowed. Bare minimum essentials can be carried. The food lounge items are decent enough to eat. It's really crowded so better to reach early to beat Bengaluru traffic and secure your seat peacefully! Have fun!

My visit to the Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium to watch the CWC 2023 match between Australia and Pakistan was nothing short of spectacular. Went for a World Cup 2023 match between Srilanka and England. Had the BCCI complementary passe. Hospitality was excellent. The lounge was an awesome experience. The bar and the food counter were run by Ritz Carlton. Security was tight.

Our favourite Chinnaswamy stadium is one among the best stadiums in India. I had a chance to witness the SL vs Eng WC match. The stadium was empty on the match day. Overall a good day to enjoy

Old stadium with limited spaces. The seats in the C-stand were narrow and neighboring heavy-set guy was spilling over. My knees (I am 5' 8") were bumping into the front seat. Be prepared to be exposed to the hot, sweltering sun for extended time - we were watching the Aus-Pak World Cup cricket match and it was unbearable at times until the sun eased after 4:30 pm. The food stands outside were lacking in space. The ground itself was pretty - it is the same ground I've heard/watched the likes of the Karnataka great - Vishwanath, Brijest Patel, Prasanna, Chandra and Kirmani played and the many national and international stats to grace the stadium. With all the money the cricket matches bring in, it is high time the authorities make the viewing for the spectators more enjoyable.

Though this stadium has the legacy with it, but still it's not upto the latest standards that Indian stadiums has to offer. Pretty average sitting arrangement with oddly placed two small and big displays. Anyways, you'll enjoy! :)

We had hospitality tickets for the India vs Netherlands world cup match. We had a very obstructed view which meant it was difficult to easily see what was going on, despite paying for a more expensive ticket. The hospitality side of things was good - the hi tea and dinner were delicious, and there was plenty of water. The staff at the merchandise booth were friendly

We had a great experience watching the NZ Vs SL world Cup match at Chinnaswamy stadium. We had paid for specific seats but on reaching there were told that it is free seating and so we couldn't get the front seats that we had paid for. There was free water and several food stalls set up by Domino's, KFC etc. The DJ and sound system need to be improved as some of the announcements couldn't be heard clearly. Hygiene around the stadium was not upto the mark. No parking facility is available so it is better to avail public transport like cabs or metro to cubbon park

Poor maintainance. Even though they are expecting a large crowd the security check and gates were opened in the very last moment, we entered the stadium after 12 overs. And the view is very obstructive, all the electrical pipes were hanging down blocking the view. Authorities, when you sell tickets at very high price and make good revenue please pay attention to improvise these. Nevertheless match was great, but ended up in rain.
