Clean and well maintained. In the day time walking path along the garden is locked. Felt disappointed as kids were not able to enjoy the park facility. Information regarding garden should be updated in Goggle. Families came with kids in daytime but only boating is available.

One of the very few places where you get to do boating in Bangalore. There's a large container like thing with tortoises! We get pedal boats, 50 rupees for half an hour. The scenery is amazing. We spotted birds like cormorant, egret and kingfisher. The cormorants were in plenty, peddling towards them was fun. It is a great place for time pass.

Perfect place for a morning walk. Sunrise can be experienced at its best here. Water birds are in plenty. There is a small island in the middle that has many birds, but we need binoculars to watch them. Ample parking space. The kids play area is clean and safe. There's an open gym near the kids play area. Boating starts at 10am. There's a small kiosk for snacks and coffee at one entrance gate. There are speakers all around the park and they play songs early in the morning, which is really an energizing experience.

Well we discovered this place by accident. I never knew that such a picturesque lake existed in the middle of the city. It had a well maintained park and boating service. Food and water is not available within the premises. Paddle boats will require lots of energy and strength. It is self driven. You can spot many birds. Over all must visit for someone who is in Bangalore.

Well maintained lake with a nice tree covered tiled walkway around the lake. Gardens around the lake are also well maintained. There is also an aviary for the birds in one side of the lake and a children's play area. Boating is also there in the lake. Water quality is not very great. Birds like Spot billed duck, Heron, Coromorants can be spotted in the lake

Yediyur Lake is one of the oldest lakes in Bengaluru, India. It's located in the South of the city, near Basavanagudi. The lake is accessible via Kanakapura Road. Yediyur Lake dates back to the Hoysala dynasty, about 1,400 years ago. It was originally 18.2 acres, but has been reduced to 10.7 acres due to encroachment. The lake was a water source for the surrounding fields.

This lake is surrounded by a jogging track. This place has good arrangement for kids and elderly people to walk and play around. Boating facility is now open. Adults - Rs.50 and for kids above two years Rs. 30 per half an hour. All are paddle boats with two and four capacities. Lake water is very polluted and not silted. Safety precautions are very less so trust on your fate and luck before you get on to the boat.

This has improved so much over the years. Boating here is good. A lake surrounded by a park is a place to visit if you are around Jayanagar.

Here's my experience at Yediyur Lake The lake is really huge and is located at by the main road. The lake is surrounded by a walking lane and people can opt for boating as well. There are birds and rabbits kept in cages in the park. I personally am not a fan of caging animals, however the lake itself is home to a variety of bird species and it really is beautiful. The park has speakers with music playing. Again, I'm not very happy about this because we come to a lake for peace and to escape the noise. They could play peaceful music instead of movie songs. The lake is clean on the outside but you can find plastic floating around here and there. The lake could be maintained better. There is a playground for kids and gyms for adults, which is an amazing facility. The park opens at 7 AM and closes at 6 PM. There is plenty of place for parking infront of the park entrance. I would recommend this place if you want to take walks and exercise. However there are better maintained lakes in Bangalore if you wish to visit.

This is a beautiful lake with pedal boating facility for an affordable rate. This lake is surrounded by a park with walkway which is ideal for morning/evening walk!

Good, park is big enough. Horse riding is available outside the park in road. Boating is available which is 50 rupees per head (30 minutes). Only 2 boats with 2 seat and 5 boats with 4 seat are there so need to wait for long time to get our turn (they could have increased number of boats) . Ticket number wise they will allow. In weekend there will be queue for boating and need to wait long time. Better to tak ticket immediately after entering the park and then can spend some time in the park by that time our turn will come for boating. Overall park is good. Duck and parrots are there in the back side of the park.

Good place for fitness enthusiasts , has an outdoor gym equipments with an almost 1km walkway on periphery of lake . Nights are more active than mornings - with kids occupying a small yet rides packed play-area. Proper , well maintained seating spaces provided at intervals with patios.

Best place to boost your dopamine by enjoying serenity of lake and bird's twitting. You can do jogging around the lake it may have 700 mtr one round. You can also do boating here abd adorable rabbits and many species of birds. The only problem is they made all things except restroom i see most if senior citizens who had diabetes finding it very difficult please take some initiative on that.

During rainy season, please be careful of the snakes. A few snake roam around especially during rainy season. Nature is at it's best form in this yediyur lake. It's not too crowded so a safer place for especially during these Covid times

Best place near Jayanagar 6th block or yediyur to do morning walk .The lake is sourounded by walking track , has some Verity collections of birds and rabbits. Timings are Morning 5 to 10 and evening 4 to around 7:30. But the lake water is too dirty.

Middle of the city such a big lake but people had made it very dirty. While boating had a very scary experience of snakes. Please be away from going end side of the lake or near trees there were so many snakes and if they are green snakes they can fly also. Please don't take risk of having this type of fun.
