The hospital is near and clean with a large cafeteria for people visiting as well as employees. Many choices available for food too. The deluxe suit is split in two rooms one for the attendant and the other for the patient. The bathroom is spacious and well lit. Although their pharmacy is under staffed and it took a long time for them to bill me for just 1 item. People staff are attentive and cautious.

Went here for Vaccination of my 18 months old baby... Doctor is good but the Immunization section is very poorly managed... 3 staffs are there for vaccination still they are not able to properly manage the procedure... It's a completely mess inside... I pray, Hope they are giving the correct vaccines to babies... Not only that, when I checked the final bill, they have charged doctors consulting charges twice... Such a big hospital yet such a messed up service... From people of vaccination to pharmacy to billing everone is clueless... My previous hospital in Vadodara was much better than this...

Thanks a ton to Dr Supraja , Dr Gurudutt & team with staff at ICU specially & wards who worked extremely hard day & night to bring my son back to life. Thanks a lot Manipal Hospital for having so human staff.

First thing I don't have any issues with the staff nurse and doctors. They did excellent job but I would like to share overall my experience. I admited my father last week due to some health issues. I had a worst experience in Columbia Asia Yashwantpur. I took my father to Hospital through Ambulance morning around 7:30 AM but no one was there to shift him to the ward. Finally my Ambulance driver helped me. 2. Basic thing, they didn't provide pillow for the 3 hrs, Staff told me there is a shortage of pillows. 3. About Food price . People are coming to Hospital for the treatment most of them Middle class family, if you are pricing high for the food how they will eat. Veg South indian food Rs. 225 ( Even it's not worth for 80/-) . Two idlis 120/-. Tea- 50/-, Watermelon juice 100/-. Hope this is not a five star resturant it's hospital cafeteria, please reduce the price, anyhow you people are charging high price for checkup and treatment, atleast for humanity prospective reduce the food price. Hope my reviews will help others and check the photo, ambulance guy shifting the patient.

I have visited this hospital numerous times. Doctors are good. But it disappointing there is no respect for time. Appointment time does not mean anything. My average waiting time has been around 1-2 hours after appointment time. Despite reaching hospital at the given appointment time. My sincere request is to respect peoples time. If it takes time , atleast inform ahead so that we can plan accordingly.

I've been availing services at Manipal Hospital Yeshwantpur for a decade now. Since the takeover from Columbia Hospital, there's been a noticeable decline in service, particularly in the unfriendly demeanor of some staff members. The billing desk, led by Mr. Devendra and Srinivas, exhibited a regrettable attitude. Moreover, I encountered a situation where a nurse discharged a patient without removing the drip needle, raising concerns about the thoroughness of procedures. On a positive note, the floor manager and the helpful brothers were instrumental in assisting patients with various needs, such as changing. Overall, the hospital's recent changes have brought negative aspects, with room for improvement in certain areas. Pic of crowded billing station

This hospital has one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Having good infra and adequte staffs.Dr. Shafali is the best doctor i saw . Even after full busy day, the way she was talking n checking every small details from all the reports with so much patience, calm, relaxed mood and encouraging words. It was such a pleasure to meet such doctor. I Thank her so so much for everything. This is just a small appreciation note with regards. Highly recommended for laparoscopic sugergy. She is the best. And special thanks to Lavanya who helped for all the documents procedures, she was always so supportive from Bajaj…!!!

One of the best hospitals in Bangalore. Came here for a routine checkup. The regustration was smooth and very quick. Had come in during the rush hour, so the wait for the doctor was quite long. The doctor was very professional and friendly. The staff are very pleasant. Will definitely recommend.

We got my mother admitted after she had seizures at home on 3rd March 2019. She was initially taken to Manipal North Near Malleshwaram Railway station for preliminary checks. After initial checkups, we were referred to Columbia Asia Yeshwanthpur for MRI and CT Scans. After MRI and CT Scan, we were informed, my mother has Brain Tumor in her frontal lobe of the brain and has to be operated immediately. On 4th March 2019 - Dr. Raghuram Neuro Surgeon explained us the operation procedure and complications involved with it. Once, we were convinced and gave a go ahead. My mother had her operation on 5th March 2019 from 9:30 AM to 8 PM. In the due course, we were updated about my mothers operation progress from operation theater. By 9 PM Doctors were successful in removing the tumor from her brain and family members were called to see my mother while shifting her to ICU from OT. Next 4-5 days my mother was closely monitored in ICU, Physio sessions were added, and she was able to make good progress with her recovery. By 09 the March 2019 - My mother was shifted to ward. She was closely monitored there by doctors, sisters, brothers, physios etc..She was discharged by 13th March 2019. First month after her discharge, she had very little energy, me or my father has to hold her hand to walk. Slowly she gained the strength and was able to find her balance. Since operation, she has become much more disciplined with regards to her health, follows doctors advise sincerely, follows the diet plan, regular with walk etc.. 6 months from my mothers Brian Tumor operation. She is able to do all her daily chores with out any issues, getting better day by day. With Gods grace my mother was able to overcome this challenge strong!!! I would like to sincerely thank. Dr Raghuram, Dr Guruprasad, Dr Rajeshwari, Dr Srividya, Dr Ajitha, Doctors who saw my mother, Doctors of physiotherapy department, Brothers, Sisters etc.. of Columbia Asia Yeshwanthpur. Details about tumor: Meningioma - Grade 1 Below are few photos of my mother.

Dr Supraja and Dr Gurudutt of pediatric icu, Columbia asia are few among the best doctors we have ever come across. My six year old was admitted to Columbia asia with worsened pneumoniae and was immediately admitted to icu. It was Dr Supraja and her team's dedication, presence of mind and sincere efforts which brought my son back to life. Dr Supraja and Dr Gurudutt and nursing staff were kind enough to also support us emotionally through the tough phase. I strongly recommend the pediatric wing.

This can't be Manipal... this is still pathetic Columbia Asia...Pathetic services. I had a wheelchair patient. There was no one to push the wheelchair. They charge surprisingly high for CT scan...and if you need a hard copy they will charge you extra 600... Hard copy is a norm elsewhere... If you have to get echo done you have to be there in person for 4plus hours ... You can't get echo reports on email... you have to come in person and collect the reports... Update: had a detailed discussion with the hospital operations management team. All concerns were noted down and action was assured. Review was written while we were still at the hospital. Dr Ranbir came forward and was seen acting on the points immediately. We hope all points would be addressed. It's only 15 days since Manipal hospital acquired Columbia Asia so Manipal culture is still not imbibed in there.

I would highly recommend Dr . Rehan Sayeed for heart related concerns. Very professional in his approach, explains the process in detail . We had first hand experience with the doctor. I would highly recommend key hole surgery compared to the conventional open heart surgery as the recovery time is faster . We were fortunate to get our dad operated through Dr . Rehan. Nalini who works at the cardiology section in the hospital is very cordial & assists in all possible manners to get all our concerns addressed . Her coordination & support during the operation is highly professional.

We had the worst experience with this hospital. we went there last year, when my 10 months old daughter had high fever. It was the nearest big hospital and earlier my wife had good experience, when this was Columbia Asia. We went to the emergency, the doctors and nurse were not prepared to collect blood from a 10 months old. They were shouting and talking across 10 meters distance while collecting blood, which upset my daughter. After multiple failed attempts they managed to draw the blood for the tests. we had a doubt that she might have Covid and insisted to do the test for Covid and it turned out to be Covid positive. They made us wait for 2-3 hours before we get the bed in their shared Covid ward. There were no any Covid related precautions anyway. I am attaching the photos of the blood stained bed which was provided to us. We asked the ward Nurse to change the mattress, which he did not and rather got a bedsheet to cover the blood stains. After repeatedly asking for 3 hours they gave us a different mattress. After resolving the mattress issue we thought now the things will get better and my sick daughter and we could take some rest peacefully. But "NO", we started to get calls from the Hospital Cafe to buy something, which we refused. They called us multiple times so that we buy something from the cafe. It felt like they are running a cafe and not a hospital. The phone was ringing loudly and because of which, we did not get any rest. We were told that the doctor will visit in the morning but only after our repeated request, finally the doctor arrived at noon. This was the time when we asked them to discharge us, given there was no care or peace in this hospital. The junior doctor and later the senior doctor tried to convince us that, if we do not stay for 24 hours, we will not be able to claim the insurance money. This was very upsetting that the arguments are not for care but for luring us with insurance claim. We paid the bills which was approximately, 20K INR and left this hospital as soon as possible. This was very upsetting and traumatic experience, we had with the Manipal hospital. There is no hospital care or humanity here. Please avoid this hospital.

My mother was sick and we were referred to Columbia Asia Yeshwanthpur for a covid test..we took a E- consultation with Dr.Srividya who was very kind in spending enough time in clarifying all doubts and also guiding us in the right path..we are very grateful. The E consultation services provided by the hospital is one of the top notch services. Also I need to personally thank Reena Rosayln from pediatrics who was referred to us for any support required if any and we found that she has that zeal in helping people naturally and she was of utmost help till the end. Good to see Hospitals recruiting such wonderful staffs to assist people when stuck. Appreciate the hospitality.

I’ve been to this hospital multiple times and the doctors are good. But the support staff is pathetic and quite badly managed. Be it nursing staff, billing, attendants, they all seem very unprofessional. Virtual appointments in a post COVID world is hugely mismanaged. [Edit] Its been 6 months since I wrote this review and the condition of the hospital continues to be pathetic. Despite taking prior appointments, patients have to wait for hours before they can meet a doctor. The staff is rude and continues to shout at patients, behaving like authoritarians. Not coming to this hospital anymore.

This center has self certified itself as number one. All L boards are employed here. For a calcium score scan it took me 1 hour to just make understand multiple people the requirement. For billing I was made to run around. It was my first time here and had never thought it's so messed up here.

Worst hospital. Pathetic service. They only loot hard earned money for patients. Money minded staff.. Billing department staff are coerce ..they have been trained and are being paid to loot patients by wrong billing and extorting money from patients. Beds are strained with blood. They don't even clean it and spread other bedsheet and allot bed to other people. If this is the height of hygiene of such so called big hospital.. God should only save the poor patients who visit there..

I delivered my baby in this hospital.. It was the worst experience here.. There was shortage of staff(nurses in ward section even after complaining to management) , because of that they never attended me on time.. And now after discharge if i call to lab for some queries they wont respond properly.. And about their pharmacy , its the most worst thing in the hospital.. What ever simple medicines we ask for, they wont be having it.. Staffs will not communicate properly, they will always be in confusion .. Except for consulting doctor each and every thing has an issue here.. And its for months together not yet resolving..

This is one of the best hospitals I trust because of the doctors. One of the best facilities and all specialities with experienced doctors under one roof. It is Costlier compared to other hospitals, however you feel your loved ones are taken care and are in safe hands, which is much more than money what you spend. One Word to Management - Please retain best doctors who are responsible to provide confidence to visit your hospital, they are your best assets and have helped you to grow to this extent.

Best hospital network in Bangalore. People who have proper insurance facilities and company benefits are good to get treated here. But for people without insurance feel the prices are way too high compared to other hospitals. Overall they have good experienced doctors and nice faculties. Health Care professionals need to understand they provide a service for money and therefore everything that is relevant to any other service industry with Customer Experience at its core, most of it is applicable to health care too. If medical schools do not teach this, it becomes the onus of Hospital Admins and Operation managers to educate their staff. A rather tepid experience at the hospital today. Had an appointment for 4pm, the doctor arrives at 5pm at the hospital. Ladies at the nursing station do not bother to proactively intimate and explain the cause of delay in doctor's arrival. Being late is last thing on the Doctor's mind and when prompted to realize that he is an hour late and an acknowledgement of that is expected courtesy, there is a "so-what?" expression on the face. When pressed further, he tells as a "matter-of-fact", he was seeing other walk-in patients at his previous clinic whom he could not ignore. Call of duty as a doctor is underlined. It takes more than 5 min to make the learned doctor appreciate the fact that respecting other people's time is good manners, intimating of unforeseen delays is being professional and saying sorry for keeping someone waiting for an hour is basic courtesy. I'd also add as an after-thought, spacing well the working hours at different clinics/hospitals is good planning. I'd appreciate the Hospital Administration takes note of this and educates their staff towards providing a better CX along with Rx :)

Also charging 100Rs in the name of hygiene when a doctor is using same PPE kit for treating all patients :(

My younger son Vedanth was taken to Manipal Yeshwanthpur in extreme distress. Thanks to the efforts of the amazing PICU staff and the always amazing Dr. Supraja Chandrashekar he pulled through and returned to normalcy in very quick time. He had once before been treated by Dr. Supraja Chandrashekar in another hospital for another ailment. She is an absolute miracle worker, a true expert in her field. A thorough professional who is also passionate about her work and has true concern towards each one of her many little patients. She and her team worked through the night ensuring that nothing went wrong until my son was out of danger. A big thank you to her, all the other doctors and nursing staff who made this harrowing time a little more bearable for me and my family. The hospital is highly professional and required minimal intervention from our end. Everything worked like clockwork precision in ensuring that in all the time we were there, we never felt lost or confused.

The worst place for someone to be. Starting off with emergency on a Sunday night to Monday morning they charged a whopping 50k. Nurses had to be reminded to give tablets / insulin / everything. You press the call bell, they’ll come after so much time. I don’t see a point in going to them when you have to tell them what all they have to do. I don’t think it’s a good hospital. I feel all they care about is money, money, money. Paying so much is worth it atleast if the nurses are proactive and the treatment does something good. 0 stars for everything.

Please value your patients time This hospital shows no respect to patient's time. If you for example take an appointment with the cardiac department, it takes 2 hours for the doctor's consultation, followed by an hour to 1.5 hours to get echo, ecg tests done and then another hour to see the doctor again. If echo, ecg, and. TMT are standard tests you prescribe, why don't you do it when the patient walks in, so that we do doctor's consultation once? Also please increase your capability to do echo, and ecg tests. Waiting is to long. Seriously disappointed.

One of the most excellent and professional Doctors in town! I would like to highlight Dr. Supraja Chandrashekar (Pediatrician) who is excellent in her work, communication, explain everything so patiently, knowledge she has and the way she treats her patients + attenders; these are just examples of her capabilities. She was joined with excellent other doctors like Dr. Gurudutt and others who all are so great in what they do! I really thank Columbia Asia hospitals to have these GEMS in their team and with their assistance the group will only succeed... Many thanks to all the support staff too and really appreciate the services they do the community. Thank you team once again! Nitish & Family.

Had to take my daughter on an emergency basis to colombia asia as I was referred by our family doctor. I was having some hesitation as normally when we go to a big hospital there would be a lot of procedures will will eat a lot of time but however, there was just a simple form to be filled and the process was done really quick. The waiting time to start with the doctor was very very minimal as the Doctor was really quick in attending my daughter. The Doctor we visited Dr. Supraja, was a very polite and very helpful in doing all the necessary check up and ofcourse was a very experienced and knowledgeable with regards to check up and explaining the procedures to us in a normal layman terms which actually gave us the full confidence that our daughter will be fine very soon. Now our daughter is very much fine and happy. The only drawback I personally felt was the hospital charges r little costly, but however I also take one thing into consideration that colombia hospital is not a small organization to have any reasonable charges. However in total had a very good and satisfied visit to the hospital. Thanks to the hospital and also thanks a ton to Dr. Supraja...

As a person assigned to a desk it was inevitable that I would be carried into emergency with couple of slip discs and unable to move an inch. After 8 sessions of physiotherapy I was finally able to walk out of the hospital, thanks to the dedicated staff in physiotherapy department, particularly Dr.Rajashekar who was like a detective examining each & every muscle & nerve before deciding which one to work on. The hospital is clean and well maintained. The staff are polite and caring (I was sad to see extremely rude patients & family members (I am sure some have given 1⭐)).

This is a feedback about my recent experience, we had an emergency and rushed to the hospital with my child, I only felt it was an emergency and panicked till I reached the hospital. Once we reached the emergency room, we got all the attention we needed, immediately. The way in which the staff attended to our concern was very professional and comforting. We were then asked to be admitted and all procedures went on smoothly. Dr. Supraja and her team, the nurses, support staff, dietitian, canteen staff and all the others involved worked in unison and made our stay at the hospital a convenient one. I have also used their services for the birth of my three children and Dr. Jyoti Shenoy and team has also been exceptional and so have all the Paediatric staff. I would recommend Columbia Asia Referral Hospital any day.

This is Dr Rashmi, pediatrician. My daughter was admitted under Dr. Supraja and Dr. Sai Prasad. She received immediate attention and utmost care. Both of them are exemplary doctors, not just in treatment, but also extremely kind and patient. We landed in the hospital as an acute emergency, which was addressed with synchronized co-ordinatiton between the pediatric emergency, radio diagnosis, laboratory the pediatric surgery team. This is the true hallmark of a good multi-speciality hospital. The pivot of all this was the pediatric intensivist Dr Supraja. No words to express our heartfelt gratitude to her. The nursing team was very prompt, and always had a few kind words to speak to the child- this, indeed, is the "art" of practicing medicine. This testimonial wouldn't be complete, without mentioning Columbia Cafe. The food was tasty and customized according to the individual patient, also very quick in service. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, despite all the physical pain. A big thank you to entire team Columbia, especially Dr Supraja, Dr Sai Prasad and Dr Guru Dutt.

It was a nice experience consulting doctor online. The doctor has a patient hearing of the patients, all details are noted, advice provided and medicines or tests suggested and a complete report is shared after the consultation. With regard to payment, each time there is a new coordinator who shares a new WhatsApp number for sharing the payment details. It would be good if a common number is given so that it will be easy to share the details from customer perspective. Otherwise getting reminders and all other process is a nice experience.

I was admitted here after being tested for Covid with 2 months pregnancy. From the time I entered, I was given the utmost care by the doctors, nurses and other staffs. Everything was taken care immediately when addressed and the doctor also boosts your confidence. The dietician will take care of the food part, knowing if you are allergic to any food item. The canteen serves excellent food. They will not do unnecessary tests. Treatment is precise and exact. Definitely recommend this hospital.

Booking appointment with a doctor is super easy. U can call them and schedule.I wish waiting area was big,as so many patients won't have place to sit. Doctor consultation is good. This is definitely not a common man hospital. You need to spend right from parking, to consultation to medicines it is expensive. One thing that annoyed me is that they charge 100 for covid maintanence which is sad as a hospital this big. If u have the money or insurance you can go here. Only flip side is the hospital does not hav small hotels or darshinis nearby . U just have orion mall one side and the other side is the railway track. Cafeteria is not great.

  • 3/5 Sushmita m. 2 years ago on Google
The doctors and nurses are highly competent and that would be the only reason anyone would want to choose this hospital. Rating given as 3 star for the quality of rooms, if given a choice I would mark 1 star..but being generous because of the good doctors and nurses. Quality of hygiene and maintenance pathetic!! Only nurses wear gloves, the other staff in the hospital feel that there was never been a covid scenario ever! No sanitisation in common areas, no distance maintained, the cafe on ground floor don't clean tables or sanitise after each use..but are ready to over charge Rs.45 for a dip tea. Same is the case of the cafeteria on the 4th floor. Floors on all levels are so dirty..I guess it gets moped only once a day. In a place which has such high footfall the hospital has to maintain high quality. The department who is in charge of this needs to be given earful and change and their improve their work quality. The canteen and cafe facilities need a bad change. Kindly look into the hygiene part at the earliest since its a hospital.

Worst Experience with the Reception staff. Went for any eye check today after getting confirmation over the call that doctor is available. After reaching there, the main reception team directed me to some other reception. There behavior was worst, that they are not even asking me anything and involved in some other work. Finally they told they dont know whether doctor is there or not and made me wait for more than 30 minutes. Finally I left the Hospital taking appointment from some other hospital. I can tell you that the Customer service and staff behavious is below par. Not rec commented.

The hospital had been great so far but my recent visit for my child's vaccination has made me decide that I will never come back here unless absolutely required. They have increased the the opd charges prohibitively so now I have to pay 950/- just for a regular consultation with the doctor though nothing is wrong with my kid because I cannot get him vaccinated till I meet the doctor. Then of course, the wait times are ridiculous. Even with an appointment, you spend at least half an hour waiting, double that if you also have to get vaccinated. So would recommend this place only if you need expert services. Otherwise, not worth the time and money!

All the services are great. The doctors are very good too. However, The hospital is very very expensive. One day at the hospital will set you down by Rs 50,000 per day for a normal twin sharing room. ICU starts at 80k per day. Unless you have a very good insurance cover, I would recommend against visiting.
