Worst valet and parking system, even when there is emergency case. They take literally 15- 20 minutes to just allow to park cars or take for valet. Then they did not have required medicene and took 20 minutes to car back. Patient will have to survive 2-3 times from death , if this the time they take to react for emergency patients. Worst service. Mani valet driver and other person in the pic, speak rudely and bluntly say it will take 20 minutes get your car from parking even when it is emergency and question you , not to give valet. What is the use of the service when hospital provide it to emergency case especially. Took patient to smaller hospital but difference was . We got individual care as patient and client better then this big hospital who have not streamlined small things well. Negative 100 , you can get your loved ones passed away , waiting for their services .

Went for Preventive Health Checkup on a Saturday. It was too crowded along with server/software issues from the lab. So it was a long "event" that started from 8AM till 3PM. It's comparatively better to take PHC on a weekday than on the weekend. This check was under staffed so much that there were some arguments with the staff on all kinds of delay!. The bad thing was parking, they charged hourly and cost ₹100 for me. The hospital looks like a luxury hotel. They even have valet parking also!

Went on Saturday for my corporate annual health checkup, ultrasound scan took hell lot of time and doctor consultation took me 2.5 hours in queue. It was like 8AM-2:30 PM schedule, taking almost entire Saturday, 6-7 hours in total, which I think is too much. Good part was that I felt nurses are well trained, technical staff taking TMT,ECG,X RAY,Blood sample acted really professionally. Entire process was over withing an hour but real pain was doctor consultation and ultrasound. Things to improve - try to manage crowd better, don't take too many appointments that you can't even manage, you are not free govt hospital, long waiting hour (2-3 hours) to see a doc in not acceptable specially when you are charging so much, please fix you filthy toilets/washrooms which are also used to collect urine samples..

Very bad experience I gain here.. I'm staying here with my pt for 1week .. If you see outside you can't find any problem.. When you'll admit your PT then you'll know .. Main thing is for treatment only we're coming here . so when we pressing the room bell for any enquaries or any help from sister they're coming after 30 min & without cleaning problem they're cleaning the bell which I've pressed .. They're not conscious about pt medication also .. Why we've to inform them now is there any medicine..really very bad nursing stuff.. & it's a strap for money collection.. We're providing money for treatment only bt here you'll not get it. By seeing building don't come here

Very irresponsible administration and having lack of coordination...the prices are very high for checkups but the quality of the reports are minimal. I paid 3920rupees for UK immigration TB test...and they take a A4 sheet printout and asked me to fill it up and the report was given me only by the evening and that was even with scratches and they were not responsible for that in their response when I asked about it. So for that I was asked to go there again. Next day also I went there and got it after I saw the doctor after waiting a long time amoung the patients. I prefer KIMS TVM for the UK TB test because my wife went there. They charged only 2500rupees and it was hassle-free. Everything was so organized the certificate was filled by the administration itself and give the report within 2 hours even though there was 10 times more candidates were there than Fortis. The certificate provided by the KIMS looks a far better than the A4 sheet printout from the Fortis. The people at Fortis were rude to me initially when I was questioned about the starches in the certificate with soft in my voice and they triggered me to raise my voice and thereafter they become polite to me. The receptionist at the counter was looks so dirty in his uniform. The uniform was Navy blue blazer and trouser with white shirt inside. The white shirt was actually looks dark grey in colour. The lady at counter was rude too. See the difference between one proper certificat from KIMS TVM cost 2500rupees and print out from Fortis cost 3920 rupees, Bangalore

This is one of the two locations in Bangalore where immigration medical tests for Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand visas are conducted. The hospital has a separate section for immigration medical exams (take a right at the main lobby). Everything is well organised with the various rooms (for photo, blood test, xray, main doctor's consultation etc) all situated around the huge waiting room with the sequence you have to follow communicated to you at the billing counter. Card payment is accepted. While the cost of the tests is perhaps just a tad bit more than the other option (Elbit diagnostics), the convenience and service more than make up for it. While prior appointment booking is not required, you are advised to call before coming because the forms for some countries have to be printed and brought along with you (while others are available there). The place can get quite crowded so if you wish to get done with all formalities within 1.5-2 hours, it is better to reach there before 830am when the billing counter opens. Don't forget to pick out a token from the machine near the counter.

Its a brand ! Premium offcourse. OPD consultation costs are touching 1000rs. Good staff and service. OPD appointment and token system has to be clear for new people ( Am visiting here from 2017 occasionaly for basic checkup, nothing changed much ) Suggestion for customers : Look at the doctors profile on Internet before booking an appointment via Hospital Website. Registration cost : 250rs If diagonised with something serious : Hospital rooms are clean if admitted for long and the staff is also great to take a good care. Obviously expensive but very clean and process oriented staff. I can only think of going here if am either Rich or i have Insurance to Claim. ( Working proffesionals shouldnt worry much, staff here also helps us with insurance claim and other formalities , they co-ordinate well within themself ) Ambulance can be called, call their number looking at website or Maps contacts. Ambulance service is good. They reach out with all required facilities, doctor etc. Pharmacy is available as well, but i prefer going to a nearby medical shop to claim 10% discounts. If in case of emergency, u have the options. Overall SATISFIED! Keep up the good work team, afterall its a persons health issue and it could be a life and death situation. Hospitals are no different than Temples for people like us, Doctors and supporting staffs are no different than Gods and Godesses. Imagine a situation the person dying! but, out of it after visiting this hospital. Take care!

Always the same issue in OPD, Even if you take the first appointment and reach on time. It doesn't work, staff doesn't follow appointment or token system. Have raised this concern multiple time with Ms.Kavitha (Grievance department) but nobody cares . Last time when I reported it seems they rectified the tokens machine atleast. Visiting here after 6 months condition is still the same. Mis leading information as well.

My mother was admitted for viral infection leading to severe wheezing and asthma. Right from the emergency department till our discharge, all the staff and sisters were very attentive and helpful towards our care and wellbeing. The ward was also very clean and well maintained (we had chosen a twin sharing room). There are regular visits by authorities to ask and solve our grievances (if any) My mother was treated by Dr. Vivek Padegal and team (Pulmonologist team). Referred to us by Dr. Kumar Swamy. The pulmonologist team did a very thorough diagnosis and suggested the best course of treatment. The canteen food is also good, the attenders can get the food serviced to the ward itself. But since it's a corporate hospital, if you do not have an insurance, the cost might be heavy on your pocket. Overall satisfied with the service provided by Fortis

Have had really good experience with the hospital. All consultation, scanning, tests are good. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is really good and check up on your very often. The food is okay but that's never a thing of concern while there. The diagnosis and treatment of the doctors makes sense and didn't seem like they were doing it for the money

Doctors are good but rest all is bad. Toilets in ground floor looks cleaned only once in a day in the morning. Admission, billing, pharmacy are inefficient. Even at peak time of 11 AM, only one person would be there at admission counter. He takes the file and ask to wait. Doesn't inform himself even after 1 hour on the status. This is just for admission form. Waste time as he doesn't give or ask if there is an insurance so delayed to get forms again. Insurance team is so lazy that they don't even spend efforts to pull the own lab reports from their own hospital. You have to scan and mail them. Takes one hour at the end just to send bill to insurance. They don't inform you when insurance is approved. You have to collect bill yourself and go to next counter to pay bill. Billing also took 30 min because an attender was fighting with them. Only two staff were present. If you have insurance, better avoid unless you want to get treated here. Narayana Bommasandra with patients 40x more than them manages better than these guys. Food court is good, clean but slightly expensive. A dosa costs ₹80. Nurses need to be more attentive. Some pharmacy items like IV bag are out of stock and one IV takes 3-3.5 hour because of incompatible items used. Had to hold the IV bag like that to work because they don't have right IV bag (out of stock for 2 days). In whole city, this hospital can't find an IV bag! Valet parking is available.

Registration process is easy. Online follow up is good. The section where the Blood sample collection is delayed due to heavy crowd but only one attender is doing all the work. Manpower may be increased there other than everything is good

My experience, front desk staff is not humble. One of the staff was very rude and disrespectful. I did raise complain about bad behavior but think will not have any impact. Hospital is by and large dirty. Basement stinks with very faul smell. During covid radiation team asks all patient to wait in a room with no windows, ventilation or exhaust. Technical team too does not wear gloves. Sanitation is very poor. Expect for the doctor I will never visit back. May be never visit again. Charges to service ratio is not worth. Better than a medical college no where near any private or definitely corporate hospital. Coordination between staff and doctor is horrible. 3 different times for 3 treatment even after discussing. Management seems sleeping.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the entire team @ Nest, Fortis for the commendable service. The doctors, nurses and support staff are equally meticulous in caring about the patient. Special thanks to Dr.Chaya Patil and Pediatrician Dr.Ashok for being ulta careful of mother and baby during the admission. Nurses Megha / Chaitra were super supportive and always ready to go extra mile. The entire treatement from pre surgery procedures to post delivery curing was fantastically coordinated, making it a wonderful experience. We had opted for an executive room with a procedural package which is very decently priced considering the treatment, facilities and Medicare provided. Highly recommend the hospital.

Fortis BG Road is one of the best Hospitals I have ever been to. The care they take of their patients is just incredible. My relative got a small operation there and right from admission, all surgical procedures, the nursing till insurance claim was all hassle free. The whole treatment was explained very nicely to us and was done with so much care. This hospital is highly recommended for everyone.

Hello Fortis One of the best hospitals I have ever seen with many staff only for help desk team. Help desk at each department is so appropriate and appropriatable. Hospital staff were disciplined and dedicated what I mean is non technical staff. Hospitality is peak. Coming to cleanlines it's so much of neat and reflects like mirror. I don't know how many staf has been working in cleaning department. It's really so good and need to applause. Parking is different for two wheelers and cars. Escalators are good and always works with no rest. Location is good and has really positive Vibes. Insurance or cashless bills can be taken

While the doctors might be good, the administration of the hospital is utterly incompetent. Unable to do even simple activities like billing in an efficient manner, I was only able to get attention after I made some noise about the urgency of my condition (vomiting for days, with barely any food intake). The doctor went over my case and was shocked at how much weight i had lost in the past few days and immediately recommended admission and IV to give me some energy. The admissions desk was such a ride. They told me they'd get the bed rest in half an hour and that they'd intimate me when it was ready. 2 hours passed, and no intimation, and i was the one calling them to find out what the situation is. I was met with curt non replies and finally decided that my health was more important than fighting with these utterly incompetent staff. On asking them to cancel my application for admission, they were suddenly apologetic (revenue lost, isn't it?). I would not recommended fortis to anyone, both in an emergency and otherwise.

Excellent doctors , nurses and staff. Canteen food is better than most hospitals with different choices. Parking is good but can get quite expensive when you have to stay for more than 2 days. We were treated by Dr. Ravindra B.S who is a god sent and a friendly doctor. No unnecessary medications or treatments.

My mother was in the ICU for 3 days and I was the attendant, so after my covid test, I was put up in the ladies dorm. My husband got me lunch from home. After lunch when we came over to the waiting longue the woman caretaker bluntly said that none other than the attendant can neither enter the longue nor sit there. Only those who were to move from the ot to the ICU could sit there. So we ended up sitting in the canteen all day. They let everyone ( those coming in for consultation) enter the canteen as it is revenue for them oh BTW they don't need a covid test nor do they look into the vaccination rules. Fortis is all about money.and the worst was yet to come. We choose a 3 bed sharing room and was shocked to know that there was no bed/bench for the attendant to sleep in the night. On requesting to be moved to a twin bed sharing room the assistant at the billing was kind enough to let me know that my entire bill( what ever was done in the past 4 days) would go up by a certain % depending on the higher cost of the last day's room rent ( that was close to a lakh) in was insane n inhuman not to allow the attendant sleep on a bench just because of the sharing room. However the joke was that there was a 10% off on the room rent of a premium room for a senior citizen. This was the LOL moment for me.. if I can afford the premium room, there was no need of a megerly 10% off for 2 days. Right..??!!

Hopeless visa health checkup immigration department. They loot us with so much money and don't even pick up the call when we try calling them at any time of the day. They should throw their phone in the dustbin. They are so incompetent that they don't even know how to fill the records correctly. Sometimes they make mistakes on the person's name, sometimes on the person's date of birth. That's how useless they are. Why fortis is hiring such useless people I have no idea. Everyone in that department is completely dumb and useless.

There is big gap with insurance team and hospital doctors. When there is query from insurance company, hospital doctors should respond on time so that insurance company can approve it. As the query was not answered by hospital, I had run around for each question and submit it with insurance team and then they respond to insurance company. Why hospital staffs should take care of this instead of asking me to do so? Is there a staffing issue in this area? As the surgery time crossed due to the insurance approval process, I had to pay 80% of the surgery cost which will be refunded after 14 working days if insurance is covered. Apart from that I am happy with the doctor's treatment, responses and the services of the nurses... They are very kind and cooperative... Thanks for your support

Very good experience at Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta during my mother's total knee replacement surgery by Dr. Narayan Hulse. The nursing staff was exceptional, providing attentive and compassionate care throughout her stay. The insurance and billing team were efficient and helped us navigate the process smoothly. The duty doctors were always available and provided timely assistance whenever needed. The physiotherapists were highly skilled and helped my mother regain mobility effectively. The Food department and Dieticians ensured she received nutritious and delicious meals during her recovery. The cleaning staff maintained a clean and hygienic environment, contributing to a comfortable stay. Lastly, the Patient Relationship Officer, Chethana M Shastry, was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making sure all our needs were met. Overall, the five days we spent at Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta were made pleasant and reassuring by the dedication and professionalism of the entire team. Thank you for providing excellent care! Included Mako robot picture as I am really impressed with technology advancements.

I had a high grade fever for 5 days, visited the OPD at fortis, they suggested to get admitted. Pros- Services are good once you get thru admission. Food dept is very responsive to feedback and meal quality is good. They give morning coffee, bf, fruits, lunch, high tea, dinner, milk at night. - very good rooms - customer relationship officer was really a big help to get me discharged as I had no attender at that time. They were super quick to get my billing and summary as well ready ahead of time. Cons - - admission process took 2-3 hrs, critical illness patients could loose it but thankfully I just had fever - Staff nurses should be better trained as one of them fastracked my headache injection thru cannula which triggered vomiting and I felt uneasy for 4 hrs. Couldn't eat, could not sleep. - noisy corridors

The CAROTID ANGIOPLASTY to Right common carotid Artery and stenting procedure done by Dr.Rajpal RL Singh., on 12.12.2020. It is at Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta Road that I was successfully implanted CRT-D (Cardiac resynchronization therapy – defibrillator). Upgradation of AICD to CRT-D on 13.02.2020 by Dr.Rajpal RL Singh. It was on Sunday the 9th of February 2020, my legs, stomach and face started swelling up. I contacted my Cordiologist Dr.Gopi. A (from June 1999) over phone (earlier DUAL CHAMBER IMPLANTABLE CARDIOVERTER DEFIBRILLATOR IMPLANTATION was done on 21.06.2013 by Dr.Gopi.A). I was directed by Dr.Gopi to immediately get admitted and he would speak to his colleague at FORTIS Hospital in Bannerghatta Road since my stay is in the vicinity. I was relieved of the tension of running all the way to Fortis Hospital on Cunningham Road. I was immediately treated with intravenous diuretics and other supportive medications on my admission to Hospital on 9th February 2020. It was on 13th February 2020 I was taken to Cath lab at around 08.45 am and the procedure started within few minutes by Dr. Rajpal RL Singh. The Doctor and the assisting team of technologists along with Cath Lab nurses were put to time management to find out suitable blood vessel to insert the lead of the CRT –D, as well as lead insert and many other requirement of the situation. PAST HISTORY: - I had underwent CABG on 21st September 1994 (By Dr. Vivek Jawali., Cardiac Surgeon) Subsequently PTCA on 22.01.2007 by Dr. Gopi.A and implanted AICD on 21.06.2013. (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator). These timely medical assistance has given me rebirth every time. Thanks to the entire team. I am surprised at the involvement of the entire team for the whole time of 5 to 6 hours of the operation procedure without having a drop of water. I was on local anesthesia and could clearly see the operation and hear the conversation between them. God has given them the patience, perseverance embedded to their blood and body. I am expressing my gratitude to the Fortis Hospital for having such dedicated professionals. Dedicated service by the nursing staff, smiling without hesitations makes any patient to recover totally at the earliest. The cleanliness in the Hospital, food catering, every care is excellent. This message is necessary to be expressed but totally concise, but more in my Heart. Lots of Gratitude and Love, Yours sincerely Sudarshana. B.K.

The hospital is near to IIM Bengaluru,it has sophisticated parking lot with huge space. In the entrance there will be a security check after that now they doing temperature check. So based on your criteria or problem you can check in the reception so they guide you to the department. They have help desk for all the queries you got and also they have staff for the insurance check including some other insurance to claim. If you are going for the first time there will be a registration charge of 200 rupees. Then you will charge with the your respective doctor appointment and consulting fees. They have pharmacy with pharmacist, but the service can be better. The Radiology department is there just inside the campus and the service is so quick. They provide wheel chair facilities that's more helpful for many patients who ever in need. Overall service is good but still can get better in terms of appointment and pharmacy department.

Recently had my mother's total knee replacement surgery here. The experience was really good. The staff, nurses and all the facilities are top notch in terms of hospital industry. I can without a hesitation say that Fortis is one of the best hospitals in Bangalore. Now to talk about the doctor, Mr Rajashekar KT is the best option available in Bangalore if you are planning for any joint surgeries. He knows his work to perfection. He is a wonderful human being and spends enough time with the patient to explain them what is wrong and how it can be fixed. I remember him clearly telling me that he would not be willing to do the surgery if the pateint had even a slightest of doubt about the procedure and was not willing to no matter how worse the condition might be. Infact I checked with my mom and Mr Rajashekar asked for her permission even at the last moments when she was on the OT table. He said if my mom still had any hesitation this can be rearranged but he would want her to go through the surgery with a positive mindset of getting better and recovering fully. To be frank this is the first time I have heard any doctor going to such extent to look for pateints consent before operating and I say that because I have had fair amount of surgeries within my family to experience this. Overall I rate the experience a very positive one and I am sure it would make my mother's lifer better for another few decades. Really happy and thankful to Doctor and and Hospital Staff.

Fortis Hospital, to be honest is my rebirth place, I was effected with COVID in the month of May which was the peak period of the COVID massacre. Fortis was very kind to allocate a bed in ICU with great facilities for which I was starving at that point of time. Entire staff took care of me round the clock for good mount of time. Thanks a lot to Dr. Vivek Anand Padegal and his team for bringing me to this level. Mostly importantly, due to my prolonged stay I also affected by pressure ulcers (bed sores) for which I got a super professional treatment from Mr. Jesvin Jeorge, at certain stage it appeared that I have to go for plastic surgery but Mr. Jesvin took very well care of the injuries and ensured they are completely cured without a need of any surgery, hats off to you Sir. God Bless you all and Fortis.

The patient had an infected vocal cord and a fever because of that. We had been going to an ENT for a few weeks because of the vocal cord injury and he had prescribed medicines also, but the patient wasn't able to digest the antibiotics which is why her fever wasn't coming down. We detailed all of her medical history and requested them to give her IV antibiotics, but the emergency refused to admit her and sent her to OPD instead. In the OPD, the receptionist said that there's only one ENT who is busy with many more patients and will probably not be able to finish them all and attend to a walk-in before his shift ends. So we asked for a general physician, but the case was the same there as well. As a result, it was a wasted trip to the hospital, in terms of both time and effort. It is shocking to know that such a reputed and expensive hospital doesn't employ enough doctors to treat "walk-ins". Nor does its emergency department care about any kinds of fever unless we have a covid report. And I doubt they care about any other fevers which are not covid.

We visited this hospital for a PTH scan of my mother in law and were absolutely thrilled by the promptness of the staff to start the process. The staff efficiency helped to minimize the waiting time for registration etc and were very polite , sensitive and considerate. Since this test needs us to be there for 2-3 hours they even offered us tea !!

  • 4/5 Kushal K. 1 year ago on Google
The hospital has pretty good facilities. They have a pretty good car park, which is great.. though parking yourself is a hassle and entry and exit are not great. Hospital staff is pretty much on toes as such. Very cooperative and efficient. The consultation appointment booking could be better..it's first come first serve only. Most places in the hospital take forever to bill you. The pharmacy especially is pretty inefficient in this aspect. Not sure why this is the case. Same with new patient registration. However the admission and especially the TPA desk is more efficient that the ones I have experienced before. The doctors are pretty qualified. A little haughty maybe, something perhaps they have earned with their seniority and experience. Never got contact of the main consulting doctor. Only for the associate and coordinators. Which is fine honestly for the treatment we are undergoing.. still would have loved to see some personal approach for a treatment that is supposed to last 3 months. The cafeteria is pretty good. Neither the patient nor the attendants are going to ever complaint about the quality and taste of the food. So far good experience. Except for the fact the tests are quite expensive here, nothing material to complain about as such.

High quality doctors, endearing and very effective staff (nurses, dietary, house-keeping and every one else). The overall level of care is very satisfying ... they connect so well with the patient to make him/her feel comfortable and reduce typical hospital anxiety. My father was diagnosed with lymphoma and his treatment journey had been tough in my country but when we decided to come to Fortis hospital in Bangalore everything changed, the care and attention we received was of high quality from doctors consultation and diagnostic tests to patient care and attendant respect, chances are that he was previously misdiagnosed with cancer and that was relieving to hear still waiting for the definitive diagnosis but now i can trust that he is in safe hands. You can clearly spot how qualified the staff is, both medical and non-medical staff. I can't help but be grateful and respectful towards them, thank you for changing my father's treatment journey for the better!

I recently underwent a kidney stone removal surgery at Fortis BG , and my experience so far has been exceptional. Phase 1 of the procedure involved putting in a stent, and I must say that I'm in good hands. Dr. Mohan K, Dr. Kartik R and Dr. Basavraj undoubtedly one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Although these doctors are often busy with surgeries, I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to consult with them. However, I've also interacted with other experienced doctors who are equally proficient and ready to provide their expert advice. I opted for a private ward, and I was pleased with the level of cleanliness and hygiene. The convenience of ordering food with a simple phone call for both the patient and the attendant made the stay more comfortable. The presence of a Relationship Manager (Rashmi S) ensured a smooth discharge process. She was proactive in addressing any questions or concerns I had before leaving the hospital. My experience with Fortis has been very positive so far. I look forward to completing Phase 2 of my procedure with the same level of care and professionalism that I've experienced in Phase 1. The only minor inconvenience I encountered was parking. Finding a suitable spot can be a bit challenging since you have drive upto 3 or 4 floor and get the parking spot. Also, you need good driving skill since the path is very narrow which goes upto 6-8 floors. However there is valet parking service, which isn’t my preferred choice. I understand that this is a common issue, and I hope the hospital can find ways to address it more effectively. Last but not least - This is all good until you have a proper insurance and better understanding what is covered and eligible under your package else it will be heavy on your pocket and soul! However, everything comes at a price and can rely on this hospital! Overall, I highly recommend Fortis for their excellent medical care, clean facilities, and dedicated staff.

I admitted the patient in late night via emergency to general ward. Fortis as brand name my expectations is also very high but I slightly disappointed with the service. But next day patient relationship manager (Chethana M Shastry) start resolving my issue one by one. I am giving 2 star for patients relationship manager and 2 star for night service staff. I am deducting 1star for day service staff because you need to keep follow up for everything & anything.
