Reasonably priced. It's a simple house converted into a hostel. Do not expect luxury or private accomodations for individual bath etc.. It's more like a form and is decent enough if you intend to stay for a short period or just need a space to crash after touring.

Super nice atmosphere. Dorms and bathroom are spacey and clean, the Café attached to it has nice stuff to offer, the kitchen is well equipped and possible to use and the staff is very friendly. On top of that they just offer vegan foods and the place is a non alcohol and non smoking area. They have a cute cat and a dog there which add to the relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend to stay there if you pass by!

If kindness was a person, it would be the hosts of this place. The hosts Vanessa and Lakshman are warm-hearted, inspiring, and supportive people which reflects in the whole community. There are lovely events hosted, like Sunday brunches or cacao ceremonies. Whether you wish to have your private space or connection, both can be found in the beautiful ambience of Be Animal. If you’re looking for an experience to remember, I recommend staying at Be Animal from the bottom of my heart.

Such an amazing hostel! The hostel environment is very neat and friendly. Happiness cafe inside the hostel is also so good . I left my airpods there by mistake during checkout; but the hostel management posted it to my hometown safely ! Thanks to be animal hostel . I had a very good stay during my be animal journey.

I spent over 2 months at the hostel and I have nothing but good things to say about my time there. The people at the hostel truly makes the space what it is and should definitely be on your radar if you're looking for a place to stay in the city. Abhishek, the manager there, does a great job at making everyone at the hostel feel welcome and makes sure that things run smoothly around the clock. Can't wait to go back someday!

So far the best hostel management I have found in Bangalore. Just that, some guests were killing the vibe of the place with their weird conduct. Also, it would be great if some room and toilet fragrances are applied regularly. The hosts were amazing. Thank you.

The bed shakes even if there is slight movement by the person on the top bunk. I was asked to pay 350 extra since I arrived at 2 am. I didn’t mind paying but I haven’t been asked to pay extra by other hostels. Pros: cool location.

Had a great stay at the Be Animal hostel last week. The vibe of the place is very chill. If you're someone who loves meeting new people, you'll get to meet some amazing folks here. If you'd rather be left alone, you'll get to just be your introverted self here. The hostel premises is very clean. The staff is really sweet. Fabulous location, of course. Loved the concept of 'Shanti hours' in the dorm between 11 PM to 7 AM. I'd definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for a hostel-like setup in Bangalore :)

Be Animal has easily turned out to be one of my new favorite places in Bangalore! It's perfect to gift yourself some much needed serenity and to meet some really genuine people. There’s also Puddu, Coco, and Abhishek(the manager), who make you feel right at home. I found peace, I found fresh tomatoes, and I found lovely people I have come to call friends. But what I love most about this place is that it is so mad clean! For anyone wondering if this should be your next stop, consider this a sign telling you to go for it :)

I'd been to the hostel for the Sunday Brunch and i ended up having the most amazing time! The food was great and the place is very clean and hygienic. The vibe of the place is so awesome and you get to meet different people and listening to everyone share their stories and experiences is very satisfying! Will definitely go back :)

Run by immature individuals. Full of attitude. Be aware and careful about some cranky co-tenants, apparently common friends of the hostel manager, who will pull up a fight and threaten co living tenants.

This place lacks facilities for sure, and the 'rules' do seem elitist at times. But it ain't a bad place, when the people and the cat, are included into the consideration.

The price is Ok for the Location. the facilities are very rustical. and it's a bit loud. the staff is nice and there is no nonvegan food allowed inside the hostel. Not my vibe but ok for one night.

It's the best Hostel to stay in Bangalore Koramangala area. I would recommend instead of going to booking sites Call directly, Lakshman and Vanessa were very warm hosts. I stayed here for almost 10 nights where I was working in the weekdays Try the food here it's good and fullfilling. I had the Buddha Bowl for breakfast which lot of greens. Do try the cookies and special pudducakes.

Stayed for 2 nights. Hostel ambience and vibe was great. It was calming. Coffees are a must try. Stay - Unfortunately, I got a upper bunk and I sweat the night out. Fan was insufficient for the summer and the table fans could cater only to lower bunk mates. Management need to fix this asap. Apart from that, a very good hostel.

Such a wonderful positive experience. Not too far from ll the action in Koramangala. The actual sleeping condition itself was not the best (not best equipped for the blistering summer). Apart from that, everything was much better than expected for the price. You can rent lockers. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The cafe has great options for those following a plant based diet. Great community as well, lot of interesting folk around, doing interesting things. Happy to see such hostels thriving.

The hostel fostered friendships that heightened my vacation go through by creating surroundings that promoted social engagement Be Animal Hostel had all the essential amenities one could ask for. From a well-equipped kitchen to a refrigerator and even a washing machine, they had it all covered. There are mixed dorms as well as solely female dorms, allowing girls travelling alone to feel safe. Upon check-in, I received a 50rs coupon, a nice touch that added to the travel experience. The locker facility provides an added sense of security for camera and laptop and the refundable deposit made it hassle-free. The hostel's decor was tastefully done, with an abundance of greenery throughout the premises. Organisers are kind, patient and very friendly . Simple place but beautifully maintained (Well decorated, Neat and clean). Crowd is so good and well mannered people. They clearly furnish their concept, discipline and stick to it diligently. Personally I feel this is the very reason they able to attract the right crowd. Eventhough some travellers might not feel comfy with Veganism within premise being strictly followed, one always has the privilege to have freedom outside the premise in order to maintain the decoram. This is indeed a happy free spirited place. kudos to the whole team.

I discovered this place while waiting for my turn at KCK and I'm so glad I did. So far I've visited thrice, and ordered a hot chocolate, Buddha bowl and puddu cake. So healthy and good. Loved the food and the vibe of this place.

What a Beautiful abode right in Koramangala, love the vibes so much. Right from the gorgeous dog to the setting to the kitchen, from the hospitality to the attention to detail, this is what a thoughtful conscious space looks like. Inspired. The bed was so so comfortable, something rare in the hostel works. Woke up in the morning to beautiful soothing music & incense I think.. hahah so lovely & different from mornings at typical hostels. Home away from home The location is in a prime area surrounded with a lot of pretty cafes,food joints,pubs and bars.lt has a park nearby and wide roads to get your day started after a morning walk/jog.The common areas are my favourite for all the fun board games,music and random chit chat with the fellow roomies.Another bonus point is that they have a kitchen where you can also cook your own meals. Vanessa and Lakshman are lovely hosts.Super impressed with their journey in creating this space and the wow factor when I knew there is a vegan hostel in Bangalore city.Thank you guys!! Be Animal has given me a new experience in my stay at Koramangala , Bangalore. The hostel is perfectly best for the silence and clean aura it instills . Vegan, spacious and chilled out hostel in a fantastic location. There are tons of places to eat and hang out in walkable distance in Koramangala which makes for some nice walks. Didn't like the fact that non vegan food is not allowed in their premises.

I'm a local so never experienced the hostel, but Be Animal is so much more than a hostel. It's a whole institution of its own with a travelers hostel, now an in-house vegan cafe, the famous Sunday community vegan brunches, and the many other events curated by Vanessa & Lakshman themselves. The best part about the hostel is the lovely and peaceful vibe you will feel soo as you enter thanks to all the details and the hosts' personal involvement into the decor that that's all about nature, DIY art, and sustainability. Their Sunday vegan brunches are a must if you are a vegan or vegan curious and want to meet inspiring people from all walks of life sharing a table serving some of the best vegan food prepared by Vanessa herself. All in all, if you go to Bangalore or even if you live here, you have to be involved with Be Animal in some way. Your life will change, and for the better.

I spent four days here. Since I had never stayed in a hostel before, I had no expectations when I checked in. However, the hosts and other guests who were there during my stay were both very nice. Vanessa and Laxman are quite humble people. Mukul and Samiksha did their utmost to meet our needs for food. Mukul deserves special mention. He is a young man who is enthusiastic and extremely thoughtful, and one of the kindest persons I have ever encountered. If you intend to stay there, be sure to check out their daily specials—every time I tried them, they were fantastic. Sincerely, I want to thank Be Animal team for having me.

I'm changing my review because I had experienced some issues- there was no water for half a day, they weren't ready to provide us the keys of locker, neither provide us with basic necessities like toilet paper or soap or shampoo. When I talked to one of our roomate I found we were charged different- for 1 night we were charged ₹1300 while she was charged ₹600 and that's a huge difference. Good place to connect with people though

The only thing that's cool about the place is there are pets. But the sheets, towels are not clean. Plus there is only one big shared cupboard, no privacy for things

It was nice and calm place with lot's of rules n regulations. The only one thing that need to be added is food. Otherwise the accommodation is very good . I will delete recommend it. Those who can't afford heavy hotel rents must go for this. Cleanness and hygiene is also there.
