This hospital has one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Having good infra and adequte staffs. Their quick action team(Code blue) are just too good. However it's exorbitantly costlier. Could have been better according to the cost. Almost 70K per day for CCU admission. Process is good like top corporate hospitals but specialist doctors are too busy that they don't even have 2 mins time to listen to the patient's problem or not interested to explain the issues to patient party. They behave like they are doing a favor to u as if you are not paying a penny to the hospital. Senior doctors should have more patience.

The hospital is having the best doctors and very good processes in place to handle all kinds of issues. However the cost is exorbitant especially for out patients which is typically not covered by insurance. To give you an idea, registration (one time) with doc visit and premium parking will wipe out 1100 Rs!! I wonder how many can afford this - but facilities are really good and so are the docs.

Parking is the biggest problem here, Lift is another problem, because of over crowed, 3& 5 start category Hospital 😁😇, Good treatment, it's costly. It's too crowded, but they are trying to manage it. Overall it's expensive but good treatment.

I was here for my father's Heath checkup.Hospital was fantastic and location is easy to find,close to URSC And HAL Office.Process was well organised from initial registration to completion of all the tests. Nursing staff was friendly and cooperative in guiding us through each and every procedure and tests. Doctors gave ample amount of time to discuss on test results and gave a valuable guidance. Overall had a very good experience and Thanks to all for your good treatment.

Short summary: Hygienic, disable friendly, supportive, visible from traffic, Tech friendly and slight costly (justified for amenities) It's a very big hospital on Hal Old Airport Road near Domlur. Went there for endoscopy, all the things were streamlined and happened as per schedule.Got report in short span. Cleanliness was top notch and staff were supportive. Within campus they have a canteen where you can have food. Hospital is visible from moving traffic. Its completely disable friendly. Its Tech friendly , they have an app from where you can do self registration and payment too. Overall very happy with treatment received. Thanks

After day-1 and day-2 experiences: Day-1: like other hospitals, I noticed that doctors are not available on time. No sense for me why took appointment at my convinance time. After requesting and asking several times, reception as requested doctor to come to the room to attend patients as we are waiting. Day-2: again the same. Ultra sound appointment is given at 11:20am and called for test at 2:15pm. Waited for the reports till 4:45pm. But even reports are not available on time 😂😂. Fate and Manipal hospital process are playing with me. And mean while doctor has left for the day who is supposed to check the reports. Pain part is, both the days I have traveled from B.kothakota(near Madanapallli) which is 120km away. All my efforts went waste. Some has to correct these coordination problems and stream to make sure the appointments are happening on time( can be here and there but should avoid long delays. Disappointed and with no choice I have to visit this hospital again to make my things done. 🥲🥲🥲 ---—----------------------------------- First impression: very big hospital with all kind of treatments under one roof. Doctors are good. Hospital is clean and hygienic. They have latest equipments too. But when you come to the hospital remember to take full day leave, not because of huge crowd but because of mis-management. I reached hospital at 7:50am for endoscopy and waited for doctor just 30 mins. Receptionist told to wait for an hour for report. From around 9:30, I am being transferred from one department reception to other department. After so much of waiting the nurse said she didn't receive the report. After confronting that the department has already released the reports then she asked my name and said reports came but she won't give me until 12. After requesting 4-5 times she said doc will look at report then she will release it. Couldn't this little info be shared to us before. It's 1pm but still no clue till when I have to wait. Pathetic management. If you are thinking to come by your car then it might take you half to 1hour to park only.

Excellent Hospital that has pretty much all advanced testing equipments under one roof. From making appointments, medical tests, treatments and getting discharged, Manipal Hospital at Old Airport Road is one of the top Hospitals in Bangalore. The staffs here are extremely friendly and the management is very good too. I have been to Oncology Department, Pathology Department and Radiology Department, overall my experience is great. The frontdesk persons namely Maria and Kathik at Oncology Departments are one of the most helpful staffs I've seen. Keep up the good work Manipal!

My sister got appointment in Manipal hospital and doctor prescribed that need to take one haemoglobin injection as soon as possible and That will take 3 hrs. When we checked In injection Room For patient 3 sitting chair ,No bad. As per my prospective at least 1 bed should be available because normal injection for time duration max 30 min fine if more then 30 min bed should be allocate respective patients. Hopefully above info Manipal Hospital management will take High priority and provide at least 2 bed in injection department. Thank You.

No doubt it is one of the best hospitals in the city. Manipal definitely is a one stop location for all the problems. - They have specialized doctors available 24/7. - The space & ambience is hygienic, well-maintained and good. - The only issue is the amount being charged. - It definitely is worth it to be treated here, but it is very expensive. - I had to rush my mother yesterday night around 12:30am for an emergency. I had given her a painkiller due to which her pain subsidised. The doctors only did tons of scans and weren't sure of what to say... So they asked to take an appointment with the assigned doctor. I was charged 8k+ for literally nothing. The nurse said that the doctors prescribed dolo 😅. To take an appointment it'll cost me another Rs1000. So, I would request that either kindly reduce the cost or look into such issues. The canteen food is good. The nurses, cleaning staffs and doctors are humble. The quality of treatment available here is not available in most of the places. So if one is looking for a simple to complex health problem to be solved, you can drop in.

Very fast and efficient overall health checkup. Manipal is also best for paediatric emergencies. The team of doctors here dealt with our child’s emergency promptly and gave him the best healthcare.

Health Check Department: Had annual health checkup here. Process and management is well managed. They properly guide and give instructions about each test that needs to be done and when. TMT and ECG were mine focus to get done to heart history. Both of these procedures were nice done and under good supervision. Ultrasound was patiently done giving good time to check every organs. I'm happy with the health checkup process at this hospital.

Health Check Feedback. The hospital and staff are fantastic. Dropping a star based on my today’s experience, which was the same experience in 2022 Dec too. The process needs serious improvement in health checkup department. It’s a frustrating experience to move from one procedure to the other randomly waiting and not knowing what’s the next step. Online appointment was easy but it asked me to come at 10:00am or later and one of the test is fasting blood sugar. I have given these feedback to the customer care. Hoping to see positive improvements. If you are heading here, go on weekdays and go early. Follow up with desk on next steps. Expect to spend the whole day.

Went for a medical trip for a family member. It took total 3 days to complete consultation with 4 specialists along with the follow up of the tests. International lounge is helpful for travellers to speed up the service according to their routine. There maybe long waiting hours depending on the department. Consultation fee for international patients is from INR 1000-2000 Lab test are bit expensive I found bit of difficulty without a proper canteen or cafe service. Better the management consider it. Staff were helpful specially in international section. I think international lounge need to be bit more comfortable than it is now based on my experience with rivals such as Aster medicity.

Staff are helpful. Most doctors and staff also speak a variety of languages catering to patients from different backgrounds. Good amenities such as hygienic toilets, a tram service from parking to hospital entrance, two cafeterias, ample seating area outside doctor’s office’s, etc. While cost of treatment is expensive especially tests, it is worth the money you pay. Overall, a hospital that can efficiently and with quality assurance, identify and treat any disease or disorder you may have.

Came from Odisha for treatment of my relation. The patient was not able to stand and sit with severe back pain. Consulted Dr Thomas J Kishen at Spin Care OPD of Manipal hospital, HAL Airport Road, Bangalore on 31st Jan 2022. Doctor saw all old reports, and examine the patient. Advice to do spine surgery on same day and informed that patient will be able to stand on next day. It's a miracle, after operation, next day morning is on 1st Feb 2022 his junior doctor came and instruct and encourage the patient to start walking. The patient was not confident that he will be able to stand and walk, but started walking. Dr. Thomas was advised to stay in hospital for only one day, but as per our request he allowed us to stay one more day. No unnecessary tests has been advised for my family in the past 6 years and the diagnosis is to the point. Our family depends on his advise. Tulsi madam from support team is also very supportive.

Went for comprehensive health check up. Amidst all the rush and chaos, the staff managed to rush through all the tests and proceedings systematically. They were very helpful and explained the processes and gave proper directions. Only doubt is that whether the consulting doctors get enough time to go through all reports before giving advise or prescription to the people. But overall experience was really good. If you are looking for affordable cost on your treatment. Then i’ll say that don’t go. 6 months ago my mother’s treatment was started under a neurologist. My mother told him that i’ve severe problem like chest pain,pain in left hand and right side from the shoulder. Then the doctor told us that dont worry everything will be fine just do some scans and let me see. After that he prescribed us some exercises. some medicines that cost around 20k. Scans are too much costly i’ll say .But after 6 months my mother didn’t feel any changes in her problem. I told all these things to doctor and now he is saying that i can’t say about the chest pain that doesn’t fall under the spondylitis. You have to go to other specialist. And i also go there for a problem of Urachal cyst. Dr told me we have to do a surgery .You are ready? kaab karwana hai? aaj? kal? Then i go towards the accounts section and i asked her the cost she told me that it cost around ‘2lakhs’. I was shocked that same surgery at narayana cost around only 50k. After that i had to go through other hospitals also. In aster cmi hospital Dr told me that nothing to worry. Surgery is not needed. If you want to do that thn you have to accept it that there is no belly button only a flat line you will see . Are you happy to accept it? I’ll say that dont worry. It’s a normal thing just make it clean and clear. And very interestingly they charged me for that surgery Only 50k

While I understand that with better rooms, you get better facilities and instantaneous services from nurses and staff, the services at the ward can be improved. While I personally have witnessed a lot of hospitals have small beds for attendants of the patients, it was saddening to see that a famous hospital like Manipal would have the attendants sleep on the floor, that too with their own bedding arrangements or simply on the chair with no extra pillow provisions. The wards seemed understaffed as well. The doctors are good, nurses are well behaved and polite as well but it also seemed as if one has too much to handle. Happy with the medical treatment, but not too convinced with the facilities provided.

Review is based on the experience I had during my corporate health check up. -Firstly, easy to locate - placed right next to Brittania on the HAL Airport main road. -Once in, there's plenty of parking space available for 2/4 wheeler parking. Parking fee per hour is Rs.10. -Clear instructions within the hospital to navigate to th required floor/space. -Clean washrooms, only bad thing being unavailability of toilet rolls. So it's always better to carry one. -Good staff, they were quite helpful, polite and very patient I must say. -Good consultation in the sense the doctors actually take time to go through your report which is not usually the case at health check ups. -Canteen available on the campus and the food there is quite alright.

The worst hospital, this hospital is only fit for corporate health check up, not for common people or any other health issues, these doctors are meant for day light robbery.

Health checkup experience was terrible. Extremely crowded and no staff to guide anyone. Appointment system is a disaster, no one follows the sequence making the entire appointment system redundant. For different consultations as part of the health package, one has to fend for oneself, no proper queuing system. Just wanted to get done with the process asap.

Oncology department is unorganised and there is no proper protocol followed in sendjng patients. providing response is really horrible. All the staff is really unresponsible.Even though the they have the best doctors,staff dealing the oncology is hopeless.No protocols in emergencies. i think Staff should be changed

Maria Vinay from the surgical oncology department has been extremely helpful in coordinating everything for my review with the concerned doctors there. She is a cheerful and helpful personality who makes sure you're comfortable and enables smooth processing of anything required.

Good doctors and friendly nurses. But very expensive.COVID test alone costs 3.5k :) also once you get admitted the cleanliness inside the room is not great. They had to be reminded to change the bedsheets every morning . And very poor time sense. They told the surgery would be at 9am and then they kept postponing by an hour and finally they took her to the OT at 2pm

1) Assistant doctor from MRI scanning dept asked me my personal medical history questions out loud in the middle of patient waiting area. Totally unprofessional. 2) Tall, guy with spectacles in Neurology department ( scanning dept) , barged into my personal conversation with my family members in the middle of other patients and started judging for no reason. 3) Waited for nearly 4 hours for NCV test with my mother who is a diabetic. The only thing we value is the doctors were very good and the receptionists are very polite and nice, which we respect them a lot for.

Have tried platinum health check packages for my senior citizen parents at Manipal Bangalore - Old airport road. The experience was the least desirable one. - The waiting times were extremely high. - The doctors were not properly attending the health package patients (esp Urology doctors). - The tests were not conducted completely (like eye check up etc and marked complete). - Some consultations (with senior doctors) took extra long waiting time. Overall experience and quality of services were not worth the money. After coming out without any reports in hand after 10 days of run around, checked with a few friends and they all had the similar experience and didn't want to go ever again to Manipal.

I went for a health checkup.. Overall experience was excellent.. it's difficult to get my vein as they are very thin .thank you to the pathologist Smitha and Balaji they were able to take blood in one go without any pain. Overall staff is very helpful and they always carry a smile on their face.

Old story Hospital charged for 10 tablets separately rather than charging for a single strip of dispirin Had a real emergency so had to pay and take as no medical shop near by. When checked and asked later about it - sorry can’t do any thing it’s billed and never refunded the amount. Putting the blame on human error. They are ok also to complain to PS and IMA as they state it’s manageable - WOW The story is small bill we noticed how about poor people recovering how many will check the bill. No audits I believe or if it’s there all are involved in the plan. Lastly it was a blame game Biller to manager to consumer care to auditor to biller again. BEWARE AND KINDLY CHECK THE BILL BEFORE PAYING

I brought my mother for a health check to the Old Airport Rd facility. Overall our experience was very good with two suggestions for improvement. The staff were very helpful on the -1 level including the customer service staff to the facility cleaning staff. I would give very high points to them. Our experience with the cafeteria at the health check level was very bad. The staff was rude, they did not have choices for food and stopped the service while people were walking in. This entire setup needs improvement starting from training staff, providing meals for customers who are walking in and making sure they are taken care of.

The experience has gone from wow to ZILCH! Really pathetic! Making patients wait for hours to get each of the test after the initial tests! Really bad experience!

Did you have a heart problem…he said this…and did the operation…because he was getting cash money…if before the operation Dr Ranjan Shetty cardiologist did proper check and told that my father has blockage. that in the heart…but what does it mean to a human being….

the place has more bad doctors... the give a bunch of lab test which is of no use, we end up paying thousands for lab tests..though there are a few great doctors which you can find helpful..AND do not do lab test in this hospital they are too expensive and they are cheating ..other places you can find them atleast half the cost..(i have experienced this).so its up to you to decide

Doctors are very good and facilities are too good. Really we have to appreciate nurses, chefs and house keeping members. The hospital staff will take care of all in and out process, no burden on us. I strongly suggest this hospital who are having the medical insurance. The cost is little bit higher and reasonable for the all services.

Manipal Hospitals is one of the best Multi-speciality hospital in bangalore. It has experienced and seasoned team of doctors in all departments. During my recent visit to hospital I was it was really amazing to see the dedication of doctors, duty doctors, nurses, cleaning staffs and food services staff towards the patient and their next kin. Each one of them is well aware of there duties and perform them efficiently and in time. They are always present to attend to your requests. Navigation through the hospital is extremely easy as everything is systematic. I have received immense support during my difficult days. I am a regular visitor to the hospital, today for the first time I went to Radiology. The department is very helpful and has some great people. Right from the registration to picking the reports was very efficient despite large number of people. I was particularly impressed by Ms Manjula from the report dispatch. The place was not at all crowded and I saw that the reports were being dispatched very efficiently. Thanks a lot Ms Manjula.

Well maintained hospital and experienced doctors/Staff’s. The appointment should be something realistic. E.g. Dr spends minimum 20 mins for each patients but appointment is given to 6 patients in an hour. It is understandable appointment can vary due emergency cases. But I have been noticing the appointment is given and patient has to wait minimum 1 hour. I was given appointment for 09:00 am and found 3 patients waiting who are given appointment before me. This is happening for past 1 week.

Was here for annual Heath checkup. Process was well organised from initial registration to completion of all the tests. Nursing staff was friendly and cooperative in guiding us through each and every procedure and tests. Doctors gave ample amount of time to discuss on test results and gave a valuable guidance. Overall had a very good experience 👍🏻

Doctors are good but prices are ex orbit ant. Nurses are careless(Patient will bear, use consumables as you like) and doctor charges for internal visit are Rs 1700/- per visit for plastic surgeon!!! Beware to shell out money but Doctors and supporting staff are decent enough.

This review is for Health Check department of Manipal Hospital, HAL. They are doing a great job. 1. You will get ample help and directions 2. Not much waiting time for tests 3. Staffs are helpful and well behaved 4. Doctors listen to you genuinely unlike some other hospital for heath check cases 5. All tests and consultation done on same day and it took minimal time 6. They send the report to your address if you can't pickup the report next day

One stop solution for all the medical requirements. It is on the pricey side, in terms of the cost. Too many unnecessary tests and medicines. Parking here is nightmare. Generally takes 30 mins to 1 hour for parking

Internal medicine(general physician) doctor advice most of the patient to doing Full body check up without any reson, its Too costly. But health check up staff are are good specially blood sample collector. I gave 3 star for Manipal.Next time I will try Sakara World or Appolo.But I know a Urology doctor DEEPAK DUBY is exelen at Manipal. I'm not satisfied with general medicine doctor.

My father went for surgery and by god blessing he did well. Dr. Sampath Rao sir and team did one of the longest surgery of 22 hours and even after that he is doing fine. Further, post surgery the recovery team also worked spectacularly to work on the case (Thanks to Nurse Abhiyuk, Betsy and others). While writing this review, my father expected to discharge tomorrow. The treatment was for vestibular schwannoma and the tumor size was 3.7cm touching the brain stem but Dr. Sampath Rao sir is truly god along with Dr. Ajay also and Dr. Rakshita and other team member. Really i never expected such groud to earth team and very humble nice people. God bless them. From the nursing team to everyone was great. Lastly, one of the least appreciated group is housekeeping. The most dedicated person is Mr.Gopinatha (Housekeeping,1035B bed), he was always helping and 24 hours was there, he is very nice guy and helped my father in every step, tolerating his nuisances. All well that ends well! Thank you.

We had great experience at manipal Hospitals old airport road. All the doctors (Dr.Rajeev, Dr.Arvind,Dr.lohit,Dr.Prasanna) are so helpful & excellent nursing services. Dietician (Anjali) was so sweet with us. Everybody looks after you personally! I was admitted for 10 days & my dad was admitted for a month after liver transplant. The care we received was too good. Cant express in words. Everybody is so well trained & loving right from cleaners, helpers to specialist doctors. I would highly recommend this hospital.

Just to compare with Aster, last year I did my health checkup in Aster clinic but their service was not good as Manipal hospital. Also as a compliment, Breakfast, Lunch was provided along with vehicle parking charges. All the above review was only based on Corporate Health checkup. The health checkup was efficiently organized at Manipal Old Airport Road branch. Along with the comprehensive health package, they thoughtfully provided a water bottle and a breakfast token. All tests were conveniently conducted on the same floor. Simply follow the guidance of the receptionist for the next steps. My overall experience was positive and well-managed.

Had my mother's annual health checkup done here. Excellent product, they take great care of doing everything thoroughly. Highly recommend the place. Not 5 stars because the crowd could've been managed better, had little clue where to head next after each test, was a bit chaotic at times. Your whole day is consumed, like 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM till you step out. We got to the place at 7:40AM

Visited for mother's full body health checkup. Took 2 days of time because of their mistake. Once report came they referred for eye department. & Eye doctor unnecessary prescribed 3 costly test & suggest you have to do otherwise serious problem can occur in the eye. So, these 3 test was done but report was normal. So, overall experience was not good. wastage of money. One lady dentist Dr ( Name I don't remember, her age is around 38yrs) was very supportive and guided very well. Thanks to her.

I am visiting here last 5 year for health checkup and my family consultation for any health issues. Over all staff behavior is very good and polite. Only issue I found is any discounts info for corporate for consultation and tests were not known to all places mainly at all doctor consultation billing sections. Check main heathcheckup billing counter or floor main billing counter for this. the hospital is little expensive. Ask for daily bill when you admitted in hospital, no need to wait till end of the day (discharge). All specialists and all kinds of labs available. No need run outside for any tests. But there lot network on connectivity issues in health checkup places.

Worst hospital for Vascular surgeon please don’t go

Everyone in Maternity ward was very helpful and humble. Dr Aditi and Dr Mallikarjun Sir very good. Maghima and Muthamizharasi sister took very good care of me. Kalai sister is very supportive . Sharmila mam gave us cake and we are very happy with the cake. Because of this nursing care we will surely recommend others to this hospital old airport road branch.

Very bad exp with Cardiology dept !!! Still waiting I have visited thrice as a whole. There are walk-in on Sat usually. I have never felt regret before. The third visit has been horrible. I have visited pulmonology dept. twice before which is great in organizing walkin/appointment of busiest docs but the exp with third vist to Manipal regarding consultation to cardiology dept (Dr Ranjan Shetty) is so bad that we had to wait for 3 hrs literally. They didn't take appointment and called me to walk in on Sat which I did within 10 min. Walk-in is 1st come 1st serve basis. But here the wait of 3 hrs made me regret the decision of consulting Cardiology here. So, ensure before visiting that you have fixed appointment and also ensure you have all day. On top of it, the attender was arrogant
