The best super fresh local seafood place in Benin. Just give it a try and you will be absolutely happy. The owner is very welcoming too. A nice ambiance and very good food. Don't forget the delicious Mousse au chocolat made with 100% Benin Cacao.

La perle du golfe est situé a fidjrosse. Sur une terrasse juste au bord de la voie. You can find this restaurant at Fidjrosse, it has a beautiful terrace. Where you can be serve a fresh sea fish and langouste. Ii like the environment, the breeze, the silent and the neatness of the environment and the class they give it. You can have lovely wines as well. I like there food, well garnished and good to the taste. All they have to work on, is on the time the foods are served. Go have a look and a taste of the freshness. You won't regret.

To absolutely try when in Cotonou if you like seafood! There's a selection of seafood on site, style farmer's market from which you can make your selection. Then, your seafood is cooked on site for you with your selected side dish (rice, French fries, sweet potato French fries, plantains, etc.) Or if you want to cook it yourself at home, you can just buy it and do so. An advice though: if you want to eat on site, plan accordingly. The cooking can take about 1hour or so. Don't go there if you are starving or famished! The wait might just kill you! They are open non stop everyday from 10AM to 10PM, except on Mondays. I believe, if I recall correctly, on Mondays they open from 5PM to 10PM. Enjoy!

Fresh chosen fishes and others sea foods cooked right in your presence. 😋. The only inconvenience, the food take long to arrive and the don't propose any great local apéritif while waiting..
