Lovely eating experience. Waiters Osman and Romeo were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Food was served steaming hot and was delicious. Clean prayer facility.

The staff are so friendly, taging the kids in playroom awesome safety feature, play room is well supervised, food is awesome, great place to have family gathering, I have a great experience every single time. 5 stars no question!

It's ok, just! Quality of food has gone down since I was last there a few years back. My ribs just barely passed for ok and lacked tenderness and marinade and my daughter's quesadilla had to be sent back as the chicken was at tough as rubber and quesadilla was overcooked and inedible. Should never have been served. The manager was quick to resolve but then her food arrived after the rest of us had eaten and that really irks me.

Quality of food improved since my last visit they upgraded with culinary and staff is hands on with their friendly behavior. Nachos was the best lol and well done on the perfect T-bone steak !

Spur does not disappoint. And one is told in advance that it's a non-alcohol, no-pork branch. Interestingly looks like an eatery in the sub Sahara region! 😀

Table was dirty, utensils needed to be replaced as they were dirty too. Coffee was awful 😖 they gave us like 5 chips each 🙈 Wouldn't go back there again.

When you go out for dinner, you would love to enjoy your customer experience, not just food. We walked in today 31 August 2021 after 5ish pm. The waiter switched my mood from happy, pleasant to: I just want to leave. Other resturants will ask if you would like to order a drink, this lad is like; can i start you off with crumbed mushrooms. Dont tell me what to eat. The menu has more than one starter. Secondly we wanted to order T bones... I get informed after I make a selection and then I am asked to wait while he goes to the kitchen. Then he offers me the most expensive items on the menu. If I wanted to order anything else I would. Please train your staff accordingly, if you want to up-sale, learn some techniques because the training you use is hopeless. We eventually walked out and enjoyed a much more pleasant experience at Merinado.

Had a family dinner on Friday 29/10, sauce bottles dirty and oily, kids play area smells like it's never been cleaned, the poor trainee water had a shirt on which looked liked it came straight from.the washing line, ordered medium steaks which was done, the entire place is just not up to standard. We'll done to the franchisee and manager, will not visit agian or recommend this franchise.

I came here last month and promised to do a review so here it is. The atmosphere was a bit tense because they don't sell bacon anymore or alcohol and I think it's upset the people that would usually go here. It is Halal and I don't know for how long it has been. Otherwise, no one bothers you. The waiter was a trainee and an absolute help. He really went far and beyond to make sure that I was well taken care of. I felt like perhaps the upset customers might take their frustration out on the waiters and sometimes they are just plain rude to them. I really tried to make sure that the waiter knew that he really took great care of me and went above and beyond to make sure that I didn't have any trouble. Thank you. The food was great although I overate. I wanted ice cream also but i was full. The drinks were amazing as well and the food was fresh. I'm really glad I found this hidden gem. Thank you for your good food and amazing service. I hope you get nicer customers.

Being a Muslim own restaurant you expect more from the people that attend the place very disrespectful and expect the manager to have control of what goes on at his restaurant. Very cheap and low class of people attend the restaurant. Had to cancel an order with over R2000. Evening spoilt buy spoilt rich people.

Took a friend for breakfast. We ordered took a long time. Waiter bring cold capuchin. Breakfast comes cold. He did not bring toast. They were out of bread. Got wrong order.. Was not happy

Beef ribs was tough. 500g lazy aged steak not at all the steak we usually order at other Spurs. Paper thin steak which could not have been a 500g rump. Rather looked like a thin Tenderized steak. Horrified to see how a staff member came out of a toilet stall & didn't wash her hands. When I followed her out, she went right to the kitchen!! Overall, service of waiters was gr8 and a cozy atmosphere. That steak & ribs was just very disappointing.

Always a good place for a meal. We often eat here and enjoy being served by Confidence our waiter.

Ordered Monday cheeseburger special as a take-out. When I opened the box at home, the onion rings looked like scraps leftover from other people's orders and tasted burnt. There wasn't a single whole onion ring. Only small bits and pieces. There was also no sachets of sauce for the chips. And I didn't taste any cheese on the burger. Extremely disgusting meal. Very disappointed. Won't be back.

This review is for my visit dated Sunday 31 Aug 2022. I humbly request the owner look at the video footage between 08h00 and 09h30. A group of young Muslims, sat closest to the Managment office, the young guy lights a cigarette in your store, total disrespect to the manager and other patrons. Shocking, totally shocking. He was loud and a total disgrace. How does someone, just throw his weight around, then thinks he can do as he pleases, lights a cigarette in the store and just dictates. I left my meal, paid for and walked out

We decided to do the Monday Spur special. Although our food was tasty we waited a bit for our drinks order and for the food to arrive. The food and plates were also not hot. Given we were a table of two that arrived for early dinner before the rush. There are plenty staff members on the floor and in the kitchen so we were not sure why the wait.

Very nice culinary experience. Doing sanitizing procedure outside according to legal requirements. Inside safe distancing is maintained. Each table equipped with spray bottle with sanitizer. Our waiter made us feel welcome and explained that restaurant is serving Halaal meats with no bacon or pork available. Also no alcoholic beverages served. Breakfast very tasty and 'sunnyside up' eggs the best I've seen in a long time. Will recommend this place to anyone.
