Food is great. Excellent service however busy day expect to wait for order

Always a good experience and love their food. Always fresh and tasty 💯 What disappoints me is that when you see the adds on TV the size of the salads are in bowl and seem large ... but when you get your order they in these small plastic containers 😩 I'm not expecting the bowl but the size in adds are deceiving 😳

The snoek portion was undersize and just the bad part of the fish. Calamari portion undersized

Had a blonde girl with blue eyes serve me. She was kind and friendly all the way. Even when I had some special requests for the food. Beautiful smile too. Would definitely recommend.

Bought grilled calamari for R133 and got this. This is pathetic for what I paid. It looks like a waste of a container.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars review or actually -1000 star review. We ordered and paid for 4 fish but only received 2 fish. Then when we call in to report this matter the manager tells us sarcastically that the order is meant to be 2 fish, but the menu says 4 fish. We have all the proof but yet they argue and fight to be right in the end. This is really really ridiculous the food didn't even taste nice, the fish was like rubber. Never go to this store its a waste of money and they will rob you blind and still argue to be right when they are wrong. Never ever go here unless you want to throw your money down their sewrage drain.

I don't know whether I should say bad or disappointing that I used to buy 4 medium fish with chips but now is like I don't know your menu anymore 🥴😳🤥 you have changed to fish strips I don't know who would spend so much money on fish strips . Maybe you could go back to what we prefer as customers then your business go back to normal otherwise with that 8 fish strips definitely am forgetting fisher ways

Just love there fresh fish and pop prawns. The parws have a crushness that is just right with sweet chilly sauce and some tartar sauce to the fish and you jave a excelent meal 😋

I decided to stop eating fish a while ago because I don't agree with the overfishing of our oceans. I broke this decision tonight and I'm not sure whether the meal I received was confirmation of overfishing or just cutting costs but I'm sure it's illegal to catch such small fish. My medium hake was tiny! The prawns and chips were tasty though. I also waited about 30 minutes for one hake and prawn platter even though they weren't hectically busy. Won't be going back there in a hurry. 😔

Had their seafood platter for two last night and it was ferpect. A lot better than the half-arsed one we were served at Jose's Taverna a few weeks ago.

The service was very slow for a place that wasn't over crowded. Their rice wasn't well cooked as well but the fish was good.

Ordered the trio family meal. Rice was wet hake fried to a crisp, had to remove the outer layer to try and eat it. There's no way they didnt know they messed up but they served me that thing anyway. Will not be buying from this fishaways again. Edit following my complaint and the response to have it looked at, they keep sending me messages that they tried to contact me with no option to contact them back, no missed calls and I have truecaller and there's no caller that's registered as fishaways that called me. They haven't emailed me or anything. Edit 2. I finally got contact from Fishaways Northmead about four weeks after I had submitted the complaint. They asked me to describe what was wrong with the food and asked that I bring it back to them before they can make it again. I explained that I don't have the food but I have a picture of it in my bin. I tried to explain that I could not possibly have kept the food for four weeks (even if I did, I'm surely not driving there to bring it back). They insisted that I bring the food to them, at which point I hung up. To clarify I'm not interested in them making me food again. How they handled my complaint was WOOOW!!!
