The
building
itself
is
a
work
of
art,
I
would
give
8/10
to
the
architect
and
design.
Shopping
at
the
mall
is
convenient
and
pleasant
overall.
However
there
is
always
room
for
improvement,
access
to
the
2nd
floor
(restaurants
and
Pick
n
Pay)
is
limited
because
it
can
only
be
through
that
one
lift
and
one
set
of
escalators,
otherwise
one
has
to
use
Entrance
5,
something
has
to
be
done
with
that.
I
do
not
dispute
growth
and
expansion,
I
am
pleased
with
the
introduction
of
another
giant
retailer
(Pick
n
Pay)
to
compete
with
Shoprite
(formerly
Checkers)
and
it
had
done
well
to
open
up
employment
opportunities
however
it
came
at
a
cost
to
the
entertainment
sector
in
the
mall,
the
closure
of
the
theatre.
The
mall
can
do
more
to
accommodate,
cater
for
and
include
their
pedestrian
patrons,
crossing
the
busy
Voortrekker
Street
with
groceries
to
the
rank
is
risky,
unpleasant
and
dangerous
to
our
children,
the
mall
can
look
into
investing
in
a
pedestrian
bridge
linking
the
premises
and
the
rank,
I
mean
it
is
the
mall's
customers
who
would
benefit,
this
would
show
that
the
mall
values
their
lives
and
patronage.
Otherwise
it's
a
beautiful
receptive
place,
the
last
Gem
of
our
dying
city,
Benoni.
