Always have a good experience here! They have an amazing selection of really good quality food items. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. The queues aren’t long at all. The wait in the queue is far less that it would be at the Farramere store and I would definitely recommend this store if you are not a fan of waiting in long queues. The bakery is very well run, however, the staff in this section drag their feet and seem somewhat resistant to getting things done promptly. The coffee shop is clean and tidy and the service isn’t bad at all. Some of the waiter staff seem to lack a bit of training and they seem preoccupied with their own personal stuff at times - sometimes have to wait for one waiter in particular to finish whatever she does in her phone before we can get service from her. The food is really good and the cappuccino’s are spectacular - it’s just really very expensive. I really like this store and would highly recommend it. Just be ready with very deep pockets. Having said that, the value for money spent is definitely worth it.

Generally well stocked and the staff are nice and friendly. I did capture a big cricket or bug that the staff just walked past, but that was a first for me. I shop here all the time and they take any returns without a problem. Their watermelon is great!

Paid R90 for the saddest looking wrap I've seen in my life. The portion to price ratio is ridiculous. I feel robbed to be honest.

Pathetic security. My wife's phone was stolen out of her pocket this afternoon. A man cornered her with a trolley while a woman came up behind her and picked her pocket. The security guard was standing 10m away with his back turned. When we went back to report the incident, there was no security at the door. They said we could not see the CCTV footage until tomorrow morning, because the employee watching the screens only works from 11am to 3pm and she was already gone home.

Sadly a shadow of what it use to be, use to serve decent sized burgers ...now it's small buns...paid R50 for a small cup of juice which was just a squeeze of three citrus fruits...I gave an extra star just for Prudy our waitress who was very friendly, not her fault the food was basic and overpriced...in fact Woolworths quality as a whole has fallen in this year ...checkers catching up to them in a big in way in terms of quality and value....Hope you guys fix things.

Yes, it’s more expensive. But you can’t argue with Woolworths quality. This store was exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. First time I’ve been into a Woolies with a Cafe. What a wonderful addition. Great place to come and have a coffee with a Woolworths quality snack. The shop was well stocked. Overall one of the better Woolies to visit!

My experiences at Woolworths Food & Café Northmead Square has been pleasant. They are well stocked, the shelves are neat and the staff are both friendly as well as accommodating. The positive attitude of the staff is refreshing. The coffee is delicious and the presentation at the coffee shop is adorable!

Not the best experience at the Woolies Cafe, they prioritse regulars over new customers and expect to wait for your drinks and meal. I was served by the manager who wasn't the friendliest and got the feeling that she didn't want me there....I rushed to finish my meal and leave. Would not recommend this Cafe.

Great Woolworths store. Sometimes lacking with the amount of items on the shelf in the fresh s3ction but generally because it gets sold quickly.

This is a good store with good, varied stock. The only thing that brings this store down is the check out staff. I've been a number of times and have never had a friendly exchange at the tills. I'll keep going back though as their variety of goods and stock levels are good.

Great store with all the woolworths standards being met, except for the issue of having to wait longer than usual for check out. More than once has peak shopping times having only 2 cashiers tending to tills which has caused frustration due to having to wait in unusually long queues for a while longer than usual contrary to what has been benchmarked by other branches

Bought a potato salad here last week. Was absolutely VILE!! It tasted as if the potoes were frozen, then defrosted and mayoonaise added. The texture of the potatoes were revolting. REALLY. HOW do you not know to NOT freeze boiled potatoes?

This shop doesn't disappoint me, every time I fail to find my favourite chicken elsewhere, I know I'll find it there. Keep it up! The only thing that I wish to advise them with is to stock enough peanuts with raisins. Whenever they are on sale, there isn't enough stock. I love Woolworths peanuts to bits, they are out of this world!

Their food is great and right by the other shops so its easy to pop in and out for a hot pie/confectionery item. A bit small and the new way they made the route to the till felt a bit off but that's about all i can say that was off

Great place for shopping

Although its pricier than most of the other grocery stores, the quality is well worth it. Some items are only slightly more costly, while other items are expensive, but if you shop their specials and promotions it's not too bad. The fruit and veg last longer than most, and they're one of the few stores with a nice selection of gluten, dairy and soy free options. You must take your own packets though. They don't provide plastic packets at all, and the cost of their black material bags can add up if you're buying a few every time you shop. The staff are the friendliest by far - they're polite, patient and always helpful.

It can be disappointing. Had issues with them letting their staff sit on broken and I mean broken chairs, thankfully head office responded quickly. Their stock is not as great as Farramere branch, especially their vegan offerings. But for basic Woolworths offerings they're good enough

Clean, well stocked, accessible and great staff

My friend and I driving from school and decided to get some coffee at Woolworths. When I got in I asked the lady how it's going she tells me "fine" I order my coffee. 20 minutes later I ask them how long until it is ready only to get a reply "you boy respect me " I disliked that comment 10 minutes after that my friend tells me. "it can't take this long" so he asked her as she got up (Cross) gets the coffee as she gives it to us say you must learn some manners! I were lucky I had a nice day otherwise I would have lost my temper and put her on her place. I will tell this story to my family and friends we will never sepport them again. The shop is nice,clean and always has stock. BUT as a black person I am going to stop shopping there. Security follows you around as if you are going to steal, first it was the female security TODAY I caught a male security peeping. Shopping experience is really not nice if you are skin colour is brown. Tell your securities it is 2024 black people work and can afford to shop at Woolworths. Worse part these security personnel are also BLACK. Sies

Lovely. Would be nice if there were menus at the table, but I understand with Covid it's a safety precaution. My cheese cake was out of this world and teapot the tea comes in was super and it kept the tea hot for my second cup.😀

Increadibly helpful staff! I went looking for my fix of marzipan chocolates over season woolies lad some on their website. When I went to buy some it seemed they didn't have any on the shelf. I hunted down someone to ask if they maybe had in the back. She went to check and informed me they weren't very popular so they hadn't ordered new stock. She then took the trouble to personally phone 2 other branches to try find me some. I'm not a regular shopper at woolies but service like this will make me one. Thank you.
