Absolutely disgusting service from this Whimpy. A friend and I went for lunch. We placed our order and waited .... and waited. After 30 minutes I went to enquire about our order and was told it was coming. After an hour we walked out of the restaurant. No apology was offered. Totally disgruntled with the attitude of the staff and the appalling service. Will definitely not be returning.

Ooh my what an amazing experience.We had a party for my 2 sets of twins,you can imagine the amount of work but the managers and staff really came to the party..lol...service was excellent..one of the Mother's and a friend of mine even said wow the staff here is brilliant..We had a lovely time..☺️☺️

The chips that came with our cheese burgers were the best we had so far from a few Wimpy's that we regular visit...our waiter Irene has a very nice bubbly personality.... very clean Wimpy, keep up the good service Lakefield Roadhouse Wimpy...

Sunday breakfast at Wimpy, food was warm for the first time ever at a Wimpy. The place is neat and clean with a big outdoors play area for the kids. The toilets were also neat and clean. Dropped a star due to the very long waiting period four our food and the staff are not very friendly or welcoming. Will visit again and hope they are in better moods.

Welcoming place, the play area for children creates a home feeling and it is a relaxing space, while I am enjoying my meal my grand children also have a time of their life. Nice place for an outing and good food.

We usually love our wimpy breakfast and play outings but this time was a let down. The milkshakes came without straws and it was difficult to find straws. My youngest already started with her dirty little fingers. Food came and didn't get enough cutlery. 2 of 3 kids had to eat with fingers (this time cleaned).

Wimpy coffee always the best. Food was quick and correct. Big play area for kids and lots of parking.

Everytime we want our kids to get some fresh air and play outside this is the place for us,so yes I always love the experience and calmness.

The service was friendly but was sadly one off the worst milkshakes I've ver had, my bubblegum milkshake tasted like watered down fat free milk...and the salted caremel was overly salty (and I normally like salty things) 🤢 Very disappointed today, normally wimpy is one of my favorite takeouts... Today has me questioning this... Well at least for milkshakes...

Will never go back to this Wimpy. We were seated and left. No Waiter came to take our order for 10 mins. Nobody came to ask if we are helped, nothing. Worst part is the waiters was standing 3 Mins away and looking at us. But never made an effort to assist. Will NEVER GO BACK or support them. Spur is R10 more expensive with fantastic service

The children always love playing here. I've noticed that around 14h00, there has been a staff shift change over the past two visits. Around this time, I'd have to call another waiter for assistance, as we've been abandoned. I don't mind if there is a change of shift to settle my bill and get new items on a new order with a new waiter, as long as it has been communicated. Other than that, we always enjoy the atmosphere and food.

Was a very nice atmosphere Ane we had a very nice waiter. David the”Rockstar” was very friendly did order perfectly and we had no complaints. Very nice Whimpy and create staff would be coming back.

Absolutely awesome place for your kids to play, my 3 year old had a ball. Had to literally drag him away, kicking and screaming, after 4 hours! Relaxed atmosphere & affordable

After such a pleasant lunch with my wife and great service from Fortunate our waitress things took a bit of a negative turn when we had to make payment. Our waitress asked us to pay in front since we were using vouchers of which we didn’t have a problem. The person who was to assist us with payment was not eager to serve at all. She had a terrible attitude and made it seem as if it was our problem that the voucher was not going through on the payment terminal. She suggested that the voucher might be for Wimpy at petrol stations even though I mentioned this was not my first time using this type of voucher. I advised her that she should find out how to use such voucher in future and she made it seem like it was my issue to resolve. We were extremely disappointed after being treated so well by our waitress.

Pleasant service, in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great food. Served by a wonderful lady named Fortunate. Beautiful smile and friendly service. All the waiters and waitresses were so friendly.My son had a wonderful time playing in the play area.

Service is great - Thank you Naomi! Naomi was super attentive and we were served in good spirits. Enjoyed the latest 2023 menu items, great additions and good changes! Unfortunately no air conditioning - sitting near the windows subjects you to the children playing outside - so air conditioning would have been preferred.

The babies and I had a wonderful time. The staff are friends and warm. Brunch was delicious. My eggs were cooked to perfection. The hot chocolate I ordered was creamy and delicious. The kiddies area is safe and very fun for busy little bodies. I know everyone is going green and earth friendly etc but my only issue at this point is the lack of regular straws. I was there about a month ago and they still only have paper straws which ruined the taste of my shake and just turned to mush before I got halfway through my shake. The staff have tried to put in a word but I suppose this is a management thing. It would be great to have a normal straw next time.

We had a great birthday party at Rynfield Lakefield. Irvin was our server and he served the children with patience. He even went after them in the play area to give them their ice cream. The food was good and the service was great.

Love taking my children here. Safe playground, and parents are inclusive so watching you children is easy. Had the rib burger it had a bit too much relish but service was amazing, will return!

Our waitress Thembi was such a lovely person. The service was great and the food was good. We'll be back just to be served by Thembi.

Didn't really go out for big meals but loving the current Burger and Milkshake special. We specifically selected a Wimpy Roadhouse because of their later closing time.

I enjoy this Wimpy alot because of the outside open play area, I get to sit outside and eat while my daughter freely plays near my sight and reach. The staff is always friendly, not and then they clean up the tables and the food is always delicious.

This wimpy is the best restaurant, has spacious kids playing ground, the staff is so friendly, and their food is excellent.

I love this Wimpy especially the service, staff. And I love the smokig area and the kids play place. Overall its definitely one of the best Wimpie restaurants in the country.

The people provided great service even the manager checks on customers if they are still fine the best service ever...but would love if we can have more options on Vegan and vegetarian coz had to pay extra for an vegetarian petty to substitute the chicken on the salad...

The food was nice, Staff always on point, I was attended by 4 member cos everyone cares. Wendy, Tshepo, Alady and a guy with long Dreads who told me about the waffle special. By one get one free special. One other thing the children play groung is nice always children attended to. But cos of Covid19 is closed. Lot of positive things to say

This Wimpy has a "roadhouse" facility. It is quite difficult to attract the attention of a waiter, so service is slower than expected.
