The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I walked in to find one woman behind the counter working on the computer. She completely ignored me, even though I walked straight up to the counter and said hello. I waited whilst she acknowledged her male colleague as he entered and they continued to have a conversation all whilst I was standing at the counter politely waiting. After about 5 minutes she finally asked "can I help you". You have got to be kidding me!! What a poor excuse for an auto shop!

Friendly joking staff,able to take your car on short notice, very satisfied with the service and team here. Have definitely found my new long term mechanic

I visited this A.T.U. (Auto-Teile-Unger) three times so far. The employees were always friendly. You may obtain the German vignette for low emission zones (Umweltplakette/Feinstaubplakette) here, which is a rather quick procedure.

Served by a friendly young man who quickly identified what we needed and showed us several options. In and out of the shop in 5 minutes, I appreciate that.

The staff at ATU were very friendly and helpful, when they realised I needed an English speaker they got their colleague and no one seemed put out by this. They explained the options for the roof box and rails that I needed and I am happy with their recommendations. I had to go back because I did not understand the fitting of the cycle carrier and again they were most helpful, coming out to the car to check things and demonstrate how it should be fitted. Very impressed and will go back for sure

Car repair in Luxemburger strasse in Trier, available for HU as well (annual mandatory technical control on vehickes) the garage also has a shop inside, where clients can buy car fluids (engine/brake/gearbox oil), bulbs, batteries, tyres, etc. Open on Saturdays till 4pm. English spoken.

I would recommend this service. I was here to change my wheels to the winter ones. They've done a great job, although it was a bit slow despite the booked appointment, I suspect they are working on several cars parallel. I also visited the shop not so long ago, I had a complete list with different kind of products (car care, fuel additive). A guy (Hans Weber, as later I've asked his name to be able to indicate it in this review) came to the door to check my covid pass, after that he asked if he could help me with something. I showed him my list (which was around 6 or 7 item) and he helped me to collect them quickly. It was a nice gesture, after everything was in my basket he went to cash desk and I could be the 1st who could pay by there.

Horrible experience. Unfriendly, rude, slow, inflexible. I ordered a light bulb there and since I didn't hear back from them I drowe by 4 days later. I learned that my appointment was 2 hours ago (first time I have heard about having an appointmet with them) and they were unable to find the 10 minutes to install the light bulb anymore. I have cancelled the other order for 380 € I made. Don't even try calling that service! Nobody will ever get on the phone, you'll get to listen to stupid financial commercial.

Reasonable price and quantity

Prices are OK but still a bit expensive especially for labour. Some people from the staff are friendly and some others quite unfriendly.

After they keep the car there for the whole day for a diagnostic I go to pick it up and the person at he counter says they dont know what is wrong with my car…they couldn’t find the problem…but i have a problem for sure….and I should go to the Bmw service for a diagnostic…and for this advice i have payed 55€ :)) So…if you need complex repairs made on your car dont go to ATU…they are totally incompetent and unprofessional as mecanics…If you need just simple things like oil/brakes/tires changes…are somewhat ok… 0 stars
