We have always been big fans of Lazy Acres and our family has frequently camped there for years. Since the new owners we have had nothing but bad experiences. The last 3 times we have been there it has been awful....and seems to just be getting worse. One time we were assigned a share site with a complete stranger (including having to share a fire ring), one time we didn't have a fire ring at all and this past weekend we didn't have power and lost a bunch of food that was in our fridge before we realized. We called the number left to call staff multiple times and left a message but no one called us back or checked on us the entire weekend! The ENTIRE weekend! They raised the prices, had nothing for the kids to do, the grounds were not maintained and zero staff available for assistance all weekend. Easily our worst experience at Lazy Acres and needless to say we won't be back!

If I could give a negative review I would. We used to love coming here. New ownership if absolutely awful. Horrible experience. We will never be back. Already canceled the next reservation we had planned!

This place has been a family favorite for many years. Now it is run down, weeds everywhere. Trampoline is gone. Feels like a ghost town on a gorgeous 70 degree sunny weekend. The prices were increased to $50+ a night! Sadly we won't be back, the amazing campground this was is no longer.

We stayed for 6 days and we didn’t want to leave. The staff is amazingly friendly and they are 100% accommodating to everyone’s needs and safety. We noticed a hole in the trampoline mat and they closed it off and put in a new mat and netting the very next day. They often make rounds on their golf carts to assure everyone is having fun and safe. It was our first time camping with our new camper and we can’t wait to go back!

I’m a travel nurse. We stayed here for a few months, and would’ve stayed longer if we wanted to skirt the camper for winter. They are under new ownership and are open year round! Very nice park! I’m hoping to go back March 1st.

We booked Lazy Acres en route to our home when returning from vacation. This campground has tons of fun stuff to do including mini golf, pavillion, pool, nice paths and even a lake with ducks, geese and a beaver! I wished we had more time to stay and play, this campground is loved and it shows. The only amenity we could have used is a fenced in dog park (our puppy was a handful by this point in the trip!). Thanks for the great night!

Stayed here also on the way to Winona, MN. Also in a tent site with 30 Amp service! All I needed. Great set up for families with youngsters! Bit also great for this elder on her own. So many songbirds! Should be called Robins’ Nest!

This is a awesome RV Park. They have cabins for rent, paddle boats to use, great entertainment for kids and family, splash pad. Owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet. It's very well kept. If you haven't been there please try it out. You will go back. There is not a RV Park in miles that come close to the friendliness that you will get there. Thank you all for all you do for the campers.

My husband and dog enjoyed our stay here. The staff was super nice and we would have loved to stay longer but needed to be closer to work. Peaceful and quiet, great place to relax.

This is a really nice campground. The stalls are wide and spacious, not cramped like sardines as in some other campgrounds. Nearly every stall has a fire pit and a picnic table. The restrooms are clean and modern. There are plenty of recreational opportunities on site, including mini golf, disc golf, sand volleyball, horseshoes, a splash pad, a half basketball court, a pond for fishing and boating, and a children's play area. My only reason for not giving a higher rating is that my sister's female domestic partner, visiting from Maryland, felt that she was treated poorly by the management. She started to take her dog into the restroom, a simple oversight because she missed the notice on the door, and she felt that she was chewed out excessively (even after apologizing) for what was just an honest mistake. She also said she was chided for driving a bit over the posted speed limit on park roads; how could they know how fast she was going? My sister and her partner are thinking of making annual summer visits to Iowa to see family. If the management is willing and able to rectify this situation and make them feel welcome at Lazy Acres, we will definitely stay there again. Otherwise, we may look for another place to camp during future visits.

Only stayed overnight at this campground while passing through on a road trip to Wyoming. Owners were very nice and escorted us to our campsite and made sure we had everything we needed. Spacious campsites. Very clean restrooms. Lots of activities on site for families like putt putt, volleyball, train rides and more.

A very relaxing RV Park!! Right off the highway. Casey gas station is just up the road. The RV park is big and beautiful. Very spacious RV sites. Lots of luscious green grass. Tons of play places for small children. Summer splash pad, volleyball, horseshoes, trampoline, and mini golf. New owners are very nice. I asked if they had a place I could give my 2 small dogs a bath and they were able to offer me a great place. The park has two washers and dryers. This is a great campground for an extended stay or just an overnight stopover.

If you camp down by pond there is a JUNKYARD along the tree line. Small trees. Very friendly gentlemen on golf carts.

Really nice park with mostly large pull through sites. Laundry was fine. A mini golf area, splash pad and disc golf also. Very clean and escorts to your spot.Very easy to navigate the roads. Pads are gravel.

What a wonderful campground! We only stayed two nights but certainly put it on our list of places to come back to and stay longer! Very kid and family oriented with so many activities. Very clean bathrooms and well kept grounds. Golf ball race, air plane slide, bean bag toss, splash pad, scooters, disc golf holes, fishing, covered creek bridge.
