I
don’t
eat
at
McDonald’s
but
my
17
year
old
daughter
does.
She
has
used
door
dash
several
times
in
the
past
and
never
had
any
issues.
Tonight
however,
was
another
story.
She
put
her
order
through
DD
at
10:15.
Over
the
course
of
an
hour
the
delivery
times
changed
5
times.
Before
anyone
comes
at
me,
I
know
this
is
a
DD
problem.
She
asks
me
if
we
can
just
go
get
the
food
because
the
last
update
said
it
would
be
12:15
before
it
was
delivered
and
it
had
already
been
an
hour.
We
go
and
there
is
a
line.
She
can’t
go
in
because
the
doors
are
locked.
We
get
to
the
window
and
I
explain
the
situation.
The
manager
looks
through
the
bags
on
the
counter
that
are
waiting
for
DD
and
tells
us
the
order
isn’t
there.
We
explain
that
the
DD
app
is
saying
the
food
is
still
at
the
restaurant.
She
checks
again
but
still
doesn’t
find
it.
She
then
asks
us
to
pull
up
and
she
will
have
the
food
remade
and
brought
to
us.
A
guy
comes
up
to
the
window-Houdini,
aka
Joshua-and
asks
what
all
she
ordered.
She
gave
him
her
phone
so
he
could
just
read
the
receipt.
He
attempted
to
give
us
his
wallet
to
hold
since
he
was
taking
her
phone.
I
told
him
there
wasn’t
any
need
for
that,
but
he
insisted.
I
gave
it
back
to
the
manager
as
soon
as
he
went
to
make
her
food.
We
pulled
up
to
where
we
were
asked
and
within
5
minutes
he
had
brought
my
daughter’s
food
out
to
us.
The
food
was
hot
and
she
was
happy.
I
have
had
some
seriously
bad
experiences
with
this
location
but
tonight,
with
this
crew,
was
different.
They
were
short
handed
and
the
line
was
long
but
both
the
manager
and
crew
member
that
we
dealt
with
tonight
were
awesome!
It
was
closing
time
and
they
were
overworked
but
still
polite
and
overall
just
nice
people.
It
was
a
refreshing
change
from
some
of
the
other
people,
including
managers,
that
I
have
dealt
with
at
this
location.
