I place take out orders here 2 - 3 times a week for my grandparents. It's Mothers Day and this is where they wanted food today. When I placed the order I requested extra ranch, I do not mind paying for it. When I picked up my order there were only 2 ranches for 3 orders of cheese fries and a Steak so I went inside and asked for 2 more. The lady that's doing take outs, my receipt says Cortney, was very rude about it. She said I need to be tipping if I want extra ranch. Being a part time waitress myself I never expect tips for to go orders, but some customers give them out of kindness. I do try to leave a tip when I have the extra cash, however, today my mom gave me her card and I didn't ask her about adding a tip before getting the order. I tried to call right afterwards to talk to a manager and the girl who answered said its lunch rush and too busy for me to call back. I will not be coming back here any more to get my grandparents lunch. **updated my review. The owner, Brandi, is very nice and understanding. I am pleased that she reached out to me to make things right for my family. I am hopeful that there won't be issues in the future if we place a to go order**

Great location and with easy access from the interstate as well as nice size parking lot. Waiting time for a table wasn’t long as well. Wait staff was prompt and didn’t hesitate to keep checking on us unlike other places. The back end of the house was just as good. The food ordered was not only delicious but prepared in a timely manner. The chicken was cooked just right and was full of flavor. Stop on by and check them out.

Very sweet & attentive young blonde waitress, who said she'd only been there a week. But still excellent. Food cooked perfect. Grilled chicken very tasty, probably marinated. Ground steak tasty. Baked sweet potato was the best thing. The okra was crisp & hot, however, tasted like it had been fried in the fish oil. Rolls were yummy as always. Prices reasonable. We always have a good experience at this location, but today was one of the best. We stayed here for a few hours to watch a game, and our waitress Cindy was so sweet, let us take our time ordering so we could watch the whole game, and never let our drinks run low without a replacement already waiting for us on the table! Great service!

We had such a great experience at this Colton’s! Shannon was our server and she was amazing! Excellent bar service! She is fast, and attentive and still able to entertain all her guests! The food was also amazing! We will definitely be back, and plan to bring friends next time to sit at the bar with Shannon! Just an overall great experience!

Absolutely horrible! We came in at 7pm on Friday night. We only waited about 15 minutes to get a table. We spent $90 on our ticket for 3 people. The ribeye I ordered was supposed to be med rare and got it almost blue. The server suggested getting the veggies grilled and when I got them they were hardly cooked let alone grilled. I got mushrooms and onions extra for my steak and the onions were hardly cooked and the mushrooms were little bitty pieces. Hardly worth the money I paid for it. The tips that my fiancee got were well done and not med rare as ordered. The smashed loaded potatoes had no flavor and when we went to use the pepper grinder it didn't work. My daughter's food according to her was "okay", but I could tell she was not impressed with the cook on her sirloin. The server was way too busy and barely had a chance to refill our drinks. So we dealt with it. We will more than likely not be coming back, especially since we spent almost $100.

Was visiting my sister and brother in law and visited the Benton location twice. First visit the food was good, the second not as consistent. Someone was a little heavy handed with the salt that night. Our server on both occasiins, Hannah was very friendly and charming. She made several drink and food suggestions. She gets a 5, food a 3

I ordered loaded chicken, and I think the cook spilled a hot seasoning on it. The onion Tangiers were good, but they were going to charge for a full order when it barely was a half order. The waiter was awesome and took the Tangiers off.

My broccoli was dirty and cold my salad only had lettuce and cheese on it.Also my sons chicken tender was extra extra crispy.Can’t forget about the bathrooms! They where disgusting 🤮

Devon was the best waiter I have ever encountered. Service was spot on! He anticipated all of our needs from the moment we sat down until leaving the restaurant. Surprisingly, my fiance, who ran upscale restaurants for 20+ years in LA, was thoroughly impressed with the level of his skills.. & that's very hard to do!! So happy we stopped to eat here on our way through town.. oh and the food was equally as great! Coltons is definitely a place worth visiting! One of our top picks for great steak & service for sure!

We ate here around the first of November and it was the best food and service!! I ordered a med rare steak and it was cooked to perfection. Everyone else at the table was very pleased!! Our waitress checked on us so often I never had to ask for a refill nor did anyone else at the table.

Food and atmosphere is always great and wonderful wait staff. I eat here at least 1 a week!

My friend and I were on our way back to Texas and we were hungry for cattonstonsfish. We saw Coltons off I 30 outside of Little Rock Arkansas and thought we would give it a try.. The waitress was very friendly and said it was on their early dinner menu. We both ordered the catfish dinner that comes with cole slaw and 1 side. Some of the best catfish I have ever had and my friend agreed. Double thumbs up!!

Our server Josh was super sweet and a good waiter! the food was pretty mediocre though. didn’t have much flavor or anything special to it. the bread isn’t fluffy like it used to be, and fries didn’t even have salt

Ups and downs. Mesquite chicken was very juicy and had a good flavor. Our table was in the corner and all the excess chairs were just shoved in behind and around us. Macaroni and cheese did not fail to disappoint. The pasta was too big and overcooked. I've yet to find restaurant Mac and cheese that is any food, so no big surprise there. My niece loved the loaded mashed potatoes and the grilled mushrooms are amazing! All in all, we like to go here every now and then. Waitstaff is usually pretty attentive.👍🏻

We were seated quickly and offered peanuts. Our server was also a bartender and very friendly and quick. Rolls were hot and fresh, and salads came quickly and were good. My steak was a little overdone and lacked seasoning. My husband's chopped steak was cooked well but bland. The onion tanglers were limp, and too thick, or something. The crust was soggy and the onions mostly raw inside. We both left them on the plate.

Food was very disappointing. The taste of the food here just does not compare to other (similarly priced) steak houses. The only thing saving this place from 1 star is the wait staff, they were extremely helpful and courteous (wish other places would hire staff like them)

My husband and I are OTR trucking and stopped here for our 1 year wedding anniversary dinner as we'd been traveling all day on our way to Jackson Missouri. Had never heard of it or been there, just found on Google and they had a place close we could park the semi. It was nice and clean on the outside and appealing looking. Right off the highway which was a giant bonus for us. We had a great dinner! Talked to a couple locals seated nearby that inquired about my husband's shirt cause they could tell we weren't from around there lol, they were very nice and cool to talk to. We both had a great dinner, the rolls they bring to the table are fresher than fresh. It was like taking a bite of the freshest roll ever, it was at the perfect baking point. Even had a little bit of leftovers to take home. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. Will definitely return someday.

The only good thing I can say is our server Garrett was very good. The staff that was seating people would rush back and sling the extra chairs towards other people leaving the chairs in the middle of the aisle. The servers would come by and shove the chairs closer to our table instead of storing them. Had to ask for rolls. Not sure I will return to this location.

We eat lunch here often and have ordered take out a couple of times. I don't think we have ever had a bad meal. Our usual meals are the 6 oz sirloin medium rare with mushrooms and grilled onions and grilled veggies. And, we love the rolls.

I enjoyed a filet, cooked to order, with a baked potato and steamed vegetables. Everything was done right. The rolls and whipped butter were a nice treat. The waitress was attentive and friendly. What more can you want? In fact, I came back for lunch the next day. 😁

I visited this establishment with my family on December 26th with my family to celebrate my mother's birthday. The food here was good, it tasted fine but was a bit cold. It was the day after Christmas so of course they were busy and we weren't too bothered by it. However, what was completely unacceptable was the bartender (whom I learned was also a manager later that night) that was making drinks. Our table was right by the bar so we had a great view and was within ear shot of what he was saying and doing. We had ordered a frozen margarita well before we ordered our food and waited a good 45 minutes for it before asking our waitress to cancel it. During this time we saw him make at least 3-4 other frozen margaritas while chatting with patrons at the bar. He was hardly behind the bar and when he was he only seemed concerned with who are sitting at the bar. Despite our waitress explicitly telling the bartender to cancel the drink, he still made it (and wasn't even very good.) I then overheard the bartender getting attitude with our server how "Well did you tell the table that another waitress took the drink" and found his mannerisms and actions very unprofessional and off-putting. I guess we weren't the only table to think so as there were other tables that had complaints about him. Our waitress was Stephanie (Or Buffy) and she was AMAZING!!!!! She was handsdown the best part of this night and was the best server I could ever ask for. She was very diligent and repeatedly asked about the status of our drink and did everything in her power to assure my mother had a good night and dinner and I am thankful for that. I cannot write into words how much of a pleasure she was to have and how phenomenal she was. Colton's should have more people like Stephanie and less like the bartender. I know it seems trivial but we had waited patiently for our drink, and then for him to finally make the drink once we asked for it to be cancelled left a sour taste in my mouth, especially when it was for my mother's birthday.

My server was great! Bartender sucked. Her idea of making a drink spicy is to dump so much Tabasco into it to almost make it undrinkable. The steak was seasoned well, but it was a little difficult to cut and chewy. Not worth coming back for.

This is our tried and true that we return to. It has been here throughout the years. Music isn't overpowering and atmosphere isn't as noisy as some of the competition. Always friendly people. Update 1: still good

I tried to give this establishment another try and regretted wasting $40. Steak is obviously not well done. The cooks dont care how they throw your side condiments all in one container. When I asked for extra sauce because my pasta was so dry, they tried to charge me.

The only time I've been there, my mother and I stopped to eat on our way to Little Rock for health services. It was a Wednesday at about 11am, they were short handed, but this one little waitress named Holly was absolutely amazing!! Just the fact that she was real down to earth and told us she had 4 tables in front of us was so appreciated, because at least we knew she knew we were there. Our food was out of this world delicious! Alice springs chicken for us both. I got French fries and they were delicious, and my mother got grilled veggies which were also superb. I'm not kidding, I've been to a Colton's several times in other towns, but this one, on that day? Excellent 👌!!!

Everything tasted great. Waitress was nice but new, so the service wasn't great. We had long wait times for drinks, we got our salads WITH the appetizers, the appetizers were cold, and we didn't get our rolls until after we got our appetizers. I know first world problems...

This food was so good. I think my husband loves his coffee as much as his steak. He says it was the best cup of coffee here had ever had at a restaurant. Our waitress was attentive but not clingy. We shared a huge steak and split our side orders so the cost was less than thirty dollars including out drinks. BE WARNED that they keep peanuts on hand so do not enter if you have peanut allergies

First time here. Stopped by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! Queso was tasty, the wedge was beautiful and the filet was cooked perfectly! To top it off our server was awesome too! If we ever ride though Benton again we'll definitely have to stop by. This place definitely gives Texas Roadhouse a run for their money!
