Upon arrival, we received a city map, which helped a lot. During our stay, the owners were constantly interested in whether they could help with something. The food is excellent, the owners are very kind. Out room has a breathtaking view.❤️❤️❤️

Pure gastronomic experience. Tavë Dheu was by far the best typical albanian dish we tasted in our journey and Tavë Kosi & Pork Skallope were also delicious. This restaurant is part of the guesthouse (with the same name), a house in the middle of the Berat hills with ashtoning views to the city and the river. Those views are enjoyable from the accurately baroque decor of the main saloon or the terrace. The waiter was attentive and extremely nice, his husband is the real cook master and his sweety children are very tender. Lovely family and lovely food. Highly recomended. They deserve the best.

Food is delicious prepared with attention and love. Felt genuine care! There is a lovely terrace with a fantastic view of the city and the mountains. Would come back!

This hotel built into the hillside overlooks the river valley and was exquisitely restored with attention to detail. The room was very small for four. The climb up the tiny alleys is exhilarating and results in astounding views. You cannot see it from the road, so stop and ask for directions at a street store. We enjoyed cocktails on the hilltop with a moonrise. The breakfast left a bit to be desired if you are vegetarian because it was not a la carte.

Wonderful hotel with a kind owner. We were one of the only ones here just after the touristy season ended. As such, the owner kindly upgraded us to a room with an amazing window view. The terrace had one of the best views of the city. It was uncrowded, clean, and peaceful. The breakfast included an in house made juice, what we think is peppermint tea, an omelet, sausage, cheese, bread, some fruit, and a spiced cake. I would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Berrat.

A lovely restored building in the old town with rooftop terrace bar with great views over the other side of the river. Bizarrely pas, the restaurant obscures this view with net curtains. Food is average. Staff are friendly and every corner seems to be immaculately cleaned.

We only ate there. Food was mediocre, red wine was grose. Meals were not served simultanously. One of us got a pizza, which was served when everybody else finished eating.

We ordered pizza and was the best pizza of my life! The meat was ok for the not seasonal period we visited Berat. We highly recommend.

The place is closed despite being open on google maps. There was no information at the entrance of the door, we learned that it was closed by asking passers-by. This information should be updated, we had come a long way for this restaurant.

It's a nice hotel with an amazing view over the whole old town - including the restaurant and the terrace. Our room/ bathroom was simple but clean. The food at the restaurant was really good! The location is good for a walk in the old town and you can reach the new town by walking. We could park our car down in the street for free.

Roaming in Berat old town, we found this restaurant by accident, and what a fortunate accident. The food is cooked with passion and pleasure by the family that owns the place. Delicious experience. The waitress is very delicate and friendly, followed by her daughters who help carrying the food upstairs. Amazing view and relaxed atmosphere.

We came across this restaurant by accident. It’s is a family owned place, they were really friendly including the little children. We had pork with cheese, tomato and peppers as a starter and it was delicious!! The pizza’s were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for dinner. The view from the terrace is incredible, 10 out of 10 overall!

Incredible place with very nice view of Berat. Restaurant at the top with a beautiful terrace in height, very welcoming staff, superb typical dishes from Albania,delicious and every thing was perfect . I will come back again!

Restaurant review only, didn’t stay here. Initially we wanted to go to the restaurant opposite which was well ranked on Google but Guva had me at terrace and view point. We sat on their beautiful terrace overlooking the other side of Berat. Food was Albanian based despite the wife coming from Romania and it is family run with everyone doing their bit in the family. We loved everything we ate from the zucchini burek, potatoes and meatballs to the pasticio with cottage cheese. Would recommend this restaurant, it’s cosy, tasty and the staff do their best to serve everyone across two floors going up and down nonstop. Paid 2500 lek for two with drinks.
