What brought me here was that they had Elbar Weiss in the beer menu. The menu also features numerous vegetarian options at reasonable prices. The food is tasty, has a homemade quality, and there is no smoking inside so visitors can choose between a stylish interior and scenic outside seating.

Very poor service, we ordered a mixed grilled and all we got was sausages. When I enquired to the waiter, he was rude and said I should have asked what meat was in it, we ordered was the most expensive so we would expect something other than just sausages.

We had the best imambajalldi that I had in years. The rest was good food too. It is located in a pedestrian area with a nice view from the river Osum. The wine selection has several local wines from Berat wineries. We went there on Sunday and the place was crowded by a mixture of local people and tourists.

I sat in City Grill with a friend, originally for a drink. The restaurant smelled good, so we ordered food. We ordered tzatziki with Greek salad and the local specialty meatball called Qofte. The tzatziki and the salad were fresh, and the qofte was very tasty. The staff in this restaurant is very friendly, but this applies to the whole of Albania, where I have been, everywhere I have met hospitable people. The City Grill restaurant is a friendly and familiar restaurant on the main street of Berat. My friend is a football fan, he was so happy that he had the opportunity to watch the World Cup. The TV volume is not disturbing. Recommended restaurant.

I was strolling in Berat while i was on vacation in albania and while looking for a place to eat, City Grill caught my eye. Glad i decided to enjoy my lunch there, the staff was on top, the food WAS DELICIOUS and the atmosphere was warm. This is my place to go every time i am in Berat. Keep it up. 👍🏻👍🏻

The restaurant had indoor seating area with ac and outdoor one.. Slow service but tasty food. The ran out of pizza so we tried the Chicken risotto (not that good) and the chicken pasta (tasted and smelled like cottage cheese), The pesto past was good the sauce was fresh and really tasty and the salad is not bad all with 2 Pepsi and 1 orange juice. for 2400 Leke

We liked the restaurant, it’s one of the busiest on the main road. It’s good food with a nice indoor and outdoor terrace. The service is good, a bit slow at times, and they serve the plates at different times which is a bit weird because you want your fries with your meat for exemple. The prices are ok and the quality is there, the meat is tasty and the variety of the plates are great, you can go for meat on the grill, traditional Albanian food, pizza and pasta, salads, etc. I recommend !

Excellent restaurant with great food and a nice warm environment. Plus: you can pay with card, and the chairs are very comfy. There's a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, a bonus if you're vegetarian. The customer service was also remarkable. Very polite and professional waiters.

The waiter was rude, the service was poor. We asked for a suggestion and he said here’s the menu. So we just ordered pasta and they were average at best. Also, it was a cold inside and we barely could eat without wearing the jackets. Avoid.

We literally finished our meal 10 mins ago. It's got a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff serving nice and quality food. They have halal meat options as well. And more importantly, it's good value for money. Definitely recommended 👌

The area was beautiful and we found a nice spot along this boardwalk area for Christmas. Walking in everyone was very friendly The restaurant was clean and the food was great. We were coming from Italy and our kids liked the pizza here better. Highly recommend.

Marcel was an excellent server for our large delegation of nine gentlemen. We ate to our hearts content- destroying a selection of lamb ribs, pork ribs, pizza and pastas. Table wine was good too

As a first, we asked, if they accept cards. When they say they don't (national sport in Albania) and we turned back, whey changed their mind a said they accept. Restaurant is very nice, but service was much behind it. We ordered pizza (impossible make bad pizza), 2 same salads (finally they have been little different and some albanian food with lamb. We are travelling 2 weeks across Balkan, but this lamb was the worst I've had. I wanted to try it, I expect something else, so it was my choise, but anyway: lot of broken bones, little meet hidden under some undefinable porridge-very strange. Maybe it should be like that, I don't want to judge it, but personaly it was very strange taste and food

Absolutely delighted with our experience at this stylish Berat restaurant! The blend of traditional Albanian dishes and grilled meats, alongside European classics, was a culinary delight. The chicken soup was perfect for a cold and rainy day. The staff's warm hospitality, especially towards our toddler, made our visit truly memorable. Five stars for a perfect mix of ambiance, cuisine, and exceptional service!

Great restaurant in this good Berat City. We were well welcome and we all enjoyed our meals. Next time we will be around we will come back !

Very impressed. I've been to quite a few "Zgara" (grilled meat and Albanian classics) places in Albania, but this was the best yet, which was surprising given the very modern look and prime location on the main strip. Ordered the Greek salad, 5 Kofta / meatballs (min order 5), and the Byrek (spinach and feta pie in filo pastry). The salad, which was huge, and nicely dressed. The kofta were some of the best I've had anywhere in the world. Nicely seasoned, and extremely tender and juicy. And the Byrek pie was lovely, maybe needs a tiny pinch more salt in the filing. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the food came out pretty fast considering the place was packed. Prices were reasonable and similar to what I've paid elsewhere for the same or similar dishes. Highly recommended.

We had dinner at the restaurant and were absolutely satisfied, with the service and the food. The staff was very attentive and friendly, the food was great and at a very fair price. On top, the cutlery and wine glasses were polished and spotlessly clean — something we hadn’t experienced very often in this category of restaurants.

Location is good, service acceptable however cleanliness and cooling the meat (chicken) along the supply chain appears to be insufficiant. We got a heavy food poising after having lunch there - not funny. Suggest to look for a better place.

We had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was great, the wine was amazing and the people were the absolute best. They gave us explanations about the food&wine, they let us stay for a very long time and they even gave us great recommendations for wine tours!! If you go and eat in Berat, eat here!! New build and traditional feel. The castle is above you. Food was VERY good. Waiter was attentive and accommodating. Highly recommended if in the area.

Nice vibe. It was a bit cold when we arrived in the restaurant. The waiter led us to sit at front of the heating that kept us warm the whole time. Very considerate. We ordered chicken fillets with mustard sauce and chips, the waiter told us that the chicken comes with chips. We were glad they don't oversell the food. The meals were also delicious and tasty.
