We stayed only 1 night but would always come back again even if we walked a bit to reach the castle. I hope they will have more rooms in the future and always satisfied customers. The value of the expererience is worth the price. For me it was magic and made me and my son impressed. The history and the hosts captured us.

Peaceful, charming and excellent service

We spent several nights in the Castello in October 2017 and enjoyed our time there very much. The Castello lies just below the city gates of the upper city of Bergamo, but has its own grounds on which you can also park. There is a lot of space on the castle grounds where one can sit down, read a book and enjoy the landscape. The B&B is in a separate part of the castle with its own entry. Inside there is a lot of space, a beautiful living room, a fullly equipped kitchen and modern baths. The breakfast was in a beautiful ball room and always plentiful and well-tasting. We would definitely stay here again!

In august last year we got married and then spent 2 nights in Il Castello di valverde. We couldn't have asked for more! The hospitality was excellent. We really felt welcomed and special. Definitely going back with our daughters when they get a little bit older.
