Wow. This burger restaurant is quite unique. Located in the beautiful reviving downtown of Hamburg and approx. 5 min. walking 🚶‍♂️ from RATHAUS. I'm not going to harp on this burger restaurant because everyone knows it’s top notch. I really liked the idea of the pop-up menu screen that saves time to place your order. What I will say about the food is the burger that I opted with additives to put on was in a whole other dimension. It was funny that I found myself wanting more and more of it. Even on the way home I was contemplating going back to get another burger or the sweet sweet potatoes 😋. Let's conclude this review; the place, hosting staff and food were beyond expectations 👍.

It was a nice burger place near the church and the main area, but the location is pretty calm. We sat outdoors and enjoyed some delicious burger with fries. The service was very good and we enjoyed our experience there.

Dropped by Burgerlich for lunch and a little break with the baby. Pros: • They’ve got this neat touchpad ordering system. • Prices are reasonable. (Tip: The kids’ menu is a great deal! 😉) • Service was quick and the staff was friendly. • Good space for kids and strollers. Cons: • The meat in the burger was somewhat on the dry side. • The menu didn’t wow us — pretty standard fare. • Noticed that half the ordering screens weren’t working. All in all, it’s a decent spot we’d recommend.

Friendly service and a high-tech ordering system makes this a unique dining experience when you need to fill that Hamburger craving while in Hamburg. It's an industrial yet warm space where you walk in and sit yourself if it's not busy. They give you a plastic card where your order would be stored. Push down on the tabs on the table and a screen will come up with the menu where you can order food and drinks. In a few short minutes your made-to-order burger is delivered to you by a smily server. When you're done, you head to the counter by the door, hand in your card, then you pay. I'm sure they'll figure out a way soon enough where the card and payments are also done on the screen at the table too. So even at a burger place, German engineering is featured quite well. It was fall and apple season and after we paid, we were also offered free apples on our way out - they were crunchy and sweet. Great!

The hamburgers are really good at an affordable price. The staff is also really friendly and the place is really hip, I would recommend it😉

The food was amazing, burgers, fries, the lemonades, even the ketchup - all fresh, house made and tasty. Personnel was lovely as well, all friendly and helpful. And even though it was pretty busy, there was a relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant, not too noisy and the decor is comfy without being obtrusive. Will definitely return!

Great place for lunch and the service arrived incredibly fast. The food was very tasty and you order at the table on a touch screen. The staff were very friendly and helpful and when I entered the restaurant I was asked if I could pay with cash because the card payment services were down across Germany at the time.

Great experience and intuitive ordering system. You get to use a touchpad that is integrated into the table, this is where you order your food from with the help of a card you get when entering. Sadly there was something wrong with my touchpad so I couldn't order any beer but that wasn't a dealbreaker. Overall very good food and really helpfull service.

Wanted to go to another place, but it was closed, so I stumbled upon Burgerlich by accident. They had a full house, but could give me a seat after 15 minutes. Ordering is very easy, you just select what you want from the menu on the tablet in front of you and they'll bring it to your table. The food was really good, staff was very friendly and the place itself had a nice atmosphere.

We ordered Beastie Burger and Chili Burger. Beastie Burger has 2 patties, bacon, fried egg and all other ingredients. It is hard to consume but delicious. The bun and patties were pretty yummy. They serve beers from tap. Nice ambience and kind waiters. I liked the digital ordering consent as well.

Really nice and innovative place and it makes so much fun for kids and families to sit and order food. The burgers were absolutely amazing! Highly highly recommended

nice place but we waited 40 min for 2 burgers. my friend became warm big burger and me - cold small one 👎🏻 , but the stuff fixed the situation in 10 minutes by bringing me a delicious hot burger 👍🏻 drinks were cool

Very nice Burger place, drinks and sides (except the green beans- they tasted very strange, had no seasoning and with a somehow fishy flavour on top) are tasty too, sweet potatoes sind phenomenal, nice service and you get to order using a touchpad, waiting time isn't too long too and everything comes warm,a lot of options and there are some veggie options too. Recommended (except the beans)

I really enjoyed it! Although ordering there via tablet is intuitive, I can't foresee that the burger came with mustard, but thanks to the kindness of the service, they changed my order in a moment. Very good meat and freshly baked bread. The drink was amazing. I would repeat!

Called in for a quick bite on a Sunday evening and our expectations weren’t high but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and efficient. Ordering was easy with a tablet on your table. Food was very good. The burger and fries were delicious and the teriyaki chicken bowl did not disappoint. Can definitely recommend. 😋

Big range of burgers to choose from, from beef to chicken, fish and vegetarian options. You order with a tablet that is on the table. Burgers took a bit long but they were delicious, tender, juicy and flavoured. Sweet potato fries were super crispy.

Good but not great. What I liked the most was the friendly staff, the quick service and the way in which the food is ordered. The burgers itself weren't as good as their price though. Maybe it's just the Hamburg tax.

The idea of a contactless way of ordering with a tablet is put to practice really well in this restaurant. After placing the order, we didn't have to wait for 10 minutes to get the food. Regarding the burger, here the salmon mango burger, because of its unconventional mixture of ingredients it was intriguing and the reason for the order. The salmon was medium cooked retaining its stability. Nevertheless, eating the burger just with hands is as expected close to impossible. Furthermore, the mango pieces could have been a bit more ripe, i.e., softer and sweeter. All in all, the burger was not only something new, but also a fruity alternative with a touch of the sea instead of your standard beef burger. The fries and homemade passionfruit lemonade were also top-notch.

Smooth and slick ordering process involving tablets sliding smoothly out from the table (I didn't expect that and it was such an intelligent way of maximising space). Tried the burgerlich special burger, the chilli burger and the fish burger. Ah, the meat here is grilled well with the smokiness infused within the meat to give a melting explosion of flavour paired with the buns and veggies. Mmh, fantastic. The fish burger was good too, I'm personally fond of fish so to taste some fresh grilled fish where it's NOT overwhelmed by batter or oil, that's a win for me. Perfect balance. I'm trying to be honest but the service was horrible! I waited over 30 min for 2 shakes that were made with soured milk. Then the nice gentleman that helped me gave me 2 coupons for free burgers and I came back to use them a day later. The waitress lady only took 1 coupon and said i ordered the wrong burger. My burger was undercooked so i basically didn't eat. I gave the second Coupon to a family as I was leaving as I have no plans on returning.

Really cool burger restaurant with modern ordering system. The food is also fresh and tasty but the price is not too expensive. They also serve nice cocktails 🍹 always love to come here to have nice food and atmosphere.

Best burger in Hamburg. Easy ordering experience on the tablets that retract into your table. Very filling and delicious burgers with yummy sides and unique drink offerings. The flavored mocktials were delicious and unique. Definitely will be back for another round. Very friendly to American visitors. Thank you for a great time.
