To bad I have to give one star. Never ever again. Food terrible but quiet expensive. Service very bad. No wonder only two tables where taken on a Saturday lunch time.

Great remote location on the Elbe with tons of amenities. Bar is fantastic, ask for Antonio. Great selection and service. Restaurant is very good with authentic German cuisine. For large parties a boat tour is available to Hamburg which is very nice. Reception rooms very nice. The hotel is peaceful with great views of the river. Rooms are clean, modern and very nice. The only drawback (or bonus) is the distance to Hamburg. Its difficult to get a taxi. Book ahead and plan to wait at least 30 minutes. Cost is 55-75 euro to city center.

Really lovely hotel. We were there for a wedding. Food was nice, staff was very friendly. Location is beautiful right next to the river. Rooms are big, bed is comfy and a nice shower. Price is a little bit high, but we definitely enjoyed our stay!

The experience was great, rooms were clean, staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was really good and the restaurant had a good selection. The location is set just off the river and has great views. The sauna is quite large and has a variety of rooms with different temperatures and humidity.

Came here to have a quiet end of our stay after spending most of the week in central Hamburg. Found our visit to be very relaxing. There are spa facilities on site which we didn't use, but they did look very nice. We spent a lot of the time outside walking by the river. Breakfast was a typical continental. We had a wonderful weekend experience at the Fährhaus. Not only is the location exceptional, also the people working there are really professional and friendly looking forward to addressing your needs and wishes.

Cozy and quite place. Good escape from stressful everyday life. But too complicated to get to, when you don't have a car. Food is great . Great variety of cocktails in the lobby bar. But pisco sour wasn't really good .

My stay in this hotel was very disappointing as I noticed many bugs , insects and also spiders on the windows and some in the bed sheets as well , also I was surprised the room had no air conditioner as they listed in the website and instead they replaced it with a fan I do not recommend visiting this hotel !

We felt the restaurant handled the COVID-19 situation very well and checked on the vaccination certificate. Staff was very friendly and efficient and the food was very good. We ate pumpkin soup as a starter and muscles as main meal. Unfortunately no wine as we were there for lunch. Highly suggested if you happen to be in the area for a longer walk along the river Elbe

Very cozy place to overnight with your wife or lover, beautiful sightseeing over the river Elbe and the ferry station to cross the river with your own cat. The restaurant excellent, ideal place for wedding, baptising or other events.

A very expensive brunch for 37€. We were greeted with Sekt and a warm soup as a starter .Brunch starts at 11.30 . A half an hour later after the first rush ,we made our way to the buffet . Dissapointed we were to see that many dishes had already been eaten up. We missed out on 2 large Salmon , delightfully displayed on the table . The fish platters ,obviously very popular, were quiet empty too . This is a buffet till 14.30 . Coming later than 12 you would miss out on many of the dishes . The buffet is then reduced to the left overs . For the price of 37€ a pity . Coffee and tea is included in the price . Sweets were wonderfully displayed and there were some delights . But somehow the same consistancy , added were different colours and flavours , thats all . Would I eat there again . Yes I would . But only at a reduced price .

It's a nice place and there is plenty of nature there, but the place seems to almost only live out of weddings. The rooms are nice. You don't have much to do there though. There is a bus right near the hotel, which comes every half an hour during the day.

Amazing view and atmosphere, high in demand wedding location (my dad got married here :)). I love the tranquile atmosphere and they have a really nice café.
