The rooms are very basic but the whole hostel experience was quite nice. We had a bunk bed, private room for 2. And the next time, double bed. The hostel is well taken care of. U can do the laundry there for aprox.5€ and dry it. U have a very big, nice, well equipped, clean kitchen, it is cleaned by the staff every day between 14 and 14.30. There are many showers, bathrooms, toilets. Some need renovation, but I think they are on it. Mind u have to bring yr own towel or pay a couple of € for one. We were positively surprised. The rooms could have more areas to put yr things on. Shelves.

Very big and clean and well equipped kitchen, great location, easy self-checkin. What I was missing was a power socket for every bed (I stayed in a 4-bed-room).

My room had a changing area and huge bathroom which allowed me to wake early and not bother my roommates. The location was perfect for going out in the city and going on hikes. The kitchen was also super nice.

I loved everything about this place. I was in a 4 female room and met great people! The kitchen area is great! You can store your things in the fridges and cupboards. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, ovens, stoves, microwave, 2 dishwashers, and cleaning items. There is also a living room with couches, smart tv netflix/youtube, and norwegian board games. The staff was super helpful and nice! Location is central walking distance to the city center and funicular.

Decent place to stay for the price you pay, in a expensive place like Bergen.. crashed here for a couple of nights and no complaints. I arrived late in the evening and had not received a code to enter prior to my arrival. Maybe it’s a technical issue. However I called the number on the door and they immediately responded. Big thanks

Clean, spacious, automatical checkin, good kitchen. Only downside: no parking near the hostel, closest parking is about 8 minutes walk and kosts 280 nok per day. Recommended.

Hostel is just okay. The beds are surprisingly comfortable, but there is no privacy. Rooms don’t have A/C or any fan system. The lockers were just big enough to fit my carry-on sized roller luggage and backpack in. However, shared bathrooms were dirty and not anything great. There is a full size kitchen for those wanting to cook food. They do let you store your luggage after check-out though for free, which was nice.

The hostel rooms were clean and tidy. There are lights next to each bed, and the lockers are fairly good. Sheets and bedding are provided, however, you do need to make the bed yourself when you arrive. They send an email with automated check-in procedures, so you basically don't need to interact with any of the staff there. There are many toilets and showers available throughout the floor and in general they were all very well maintained and clean. The showers worked well with good pressure. The hostel location is also right in the city centre so I would definitely recommend this place.

Clean hostel with a view on the mountain in the city center. Beds are very comfortable and each one has a lamp and 2 USB ports plus wall plug. Recommended to budget travelers going to Bergen.

Highly recommended! We stayed there for two days and our experience has been great. + The staffs are so friendly and always smiling. Very helpful when you need help. + It is located right at the sentrum. A perfect location. + Rooms with views. It is on the 4th floor so you get to see the cuty and the mountains from your rooms. + Afoordable - The room heaters can be better but it is not bad

Best place to stay for solo travellers. Located centrally in bergen only few minutes walk to catch busses and tram.

My daughter stayed at this hostel as a solo travel to Bergen last month. The location, and accommodations were ideal for exploring the city. She found this hostel to be exceptionally clean, actually spotless. The staff weren't very chatty, but the environment felt very safe. She would highly recommend this hostel.

Both the common room and the kitchen are small but sufficient. The sanitary facilities are mostly clean. The beds and lockers are super loud. Especially in a larger room with people arriving and leaving throughout the night, it is nearly impossible not to wake up several times a night. In addition the beds are not that comfortable. Overall I think the hostel is pretty overpriced for the bad experience it provides.

A good stay. Certainly expensive for what it is - but otherwise happy. High points were the cleanliness of the hostel - bathrooms and kitchens were well maintained throughout our stay. Plenty of bathrooms and showers too. We stayed in a shared room - nothing special but it had nice views, clean sheets and even a desk to get some work done. Would be nice to have some curtains on the bed for privacy - but otherwise decent. Kitchen is small but there is a large dining area and the utensils are excellent. Can't comment much on service as I rarely saw staff - reception is open for a short time. Everyone gets their own room key which was very handy for when we would split up - also was very secure to get into it. Would recommend if you're staying in Bergen.

i had a lovely time staying here. it’s cute, clean, and beautiful. this place has a huge dining area and very well-equipped kitchen. the location is also close to the train station and main attractions. should’ve been better had they had a 24 hr reception.

Very disappointed, the beds were so squeaky that when anyone moved it would disturb everyone else. Could also feel the springs under the mattress. The windows were not soundproofed and the street was bery noisesy even at 3 am. Also it is pretty annoying not having a receptionist "after hours".
