Hiking area

👍👍 Lovely spot to watch sunset 😊 The hike doesn't take long, but it will make you sweat quite a lot. But look at the view tho, isn't it stunning? People often mention view,

Not an easy hike, but in such a close proximity to the center of Bergen. If you are an average hiker, it will take you about 20mins to reach the top. If You are an average non-hiker, it will take you 25-30mins to reach the top. Fantastic view from the top!

There are several routes to the top, but the most famous one is the stairs. It’s intense but it’s the shortest way. The view from the top is just breathtaking. I would also categorize is as an easy hike

if you arent in at least half decent form this hike might be a bit too much for you - my head started hurting a little over halfway up. bt conditions-wise this is a great place.

This is a pretty short hike but it is quite steep so it will definitely bring up your pulse and make you sweat. But if you take it easy, this is not that hard and you will be rewarded by a great view at the top. Make sure to go on a sunny clear day for the best views of course.

It take a toll to go up here, but it doesn't disappoint at all, the views are incredible and going a bit further, gets you to a lake that has amazing areas to sit a relax.

Amazing! Demanding on body. You should be able to at least walk 100 fligths of stairs ( aprox. 300 heightmeters)

Not as easy as it looks but worth the views and adrenaline! Considering getting down via Floyen if you wanna be kind to your knees 🙈

Quick escape from city into nature! Steep stone steps directly towards the top for breathtaking views of Bergen ❤️ once at the top you can choose different hikes or swirl down via also multiple options of hikes. To land directly back in the cosy city centre for a well deserved meal.

Excellent view but even locals suffer to get upstairs 😅😂

Great hiking challenge, with stone stairs from start to the end. Nice view from the top. But, if you are not in a decent form try some of other walking areas in Bergen, and there are hundreds. 😊

The food was exceptional. We didn’t order any starters but the main course, which was oven-cremated sea bass drizzled with a reduction of mountain goat and wild bird song, was just melt-in-the-mouth gold. The waiter recommended an incandescent 1990 French Chablis but we refused because he hadn’t washed his hands properly. Instead, we opted for a locally brewed beer made from the bark of a dog. Dessert was woodland fruits and berries, doused in the same locally produced beer we ordered with our main course. The whole experience was incredible and we showered in the same locally produced beers made from the bark of a dog, that we had ordered for the main course and which drowned our dessert of woodland fruits and berries so playfully. We were sopping wet by the end of it but a dining experience like this, is unique and cannot, and will not be faltered. I won’t hear of it.
