The whale and reindeer were superb and absolute must orders, the lamb and wolffish were delicious, and the beer selection was excellent as well. The service was a bit slow and the waitress a bit abrupt. The toilets were clogged and no more paper. I had mussels for starters which were 10/10 really I admit. For main I tried the reindeer but wasn’t the biggest fan. 100£ for two with drinks.

A nice a cozy place for dinner. Didn’t manage to get a window seat but it was spacious and comfortable in the corner too. Waiter recommended us some of the signature dishes. We feel the fish soup was a bit disappointing because there was no “fish” in it, and the cod tasted bland too. The dessert (cakes and sorbet) was also too sweet for our liking but we thought maybe it’s the authentic local cuisine.

Booked a table for 7pm on Thursday 31st August and just as well as upstairs was very busy. It took us a while to order and get drinks as well as a wait between courses because it was busy. The food was good, the choices were interesting and portions were good. Expect this place to be busy because it is right in the old town where everyone congregates.

Had a great dinner here, the restaurant wasn’t too packed so it was easy to find a table, and the wait staff were friendly and very quick. We tried 2 of their signatures, the fish soup and the reindeer fillet, which were both delicious. The fish soup was very creamy and the reindeer was surprisingly tender and easy to eat.
