Wonderful experience taking the floibanen up to the top of the mountain. There are a lot of activities to do around the top, with a cafe, lake, hiking trail, children's play area, and yes don't miss the goats. Very friendly lot. The trail is filled with picturesque views and points. Totally worth the effort. Suggestion is to take a 1 way ticket to the top, and then hike down the way to the city. Overall, a wonderful experience and must see part of Bergen!

From terrace you will have stunning view to the city of Bergen and the bay. Early in the morning there is a fog sometimes, so check on the wheather forecast, prior taking the cable cart to the upper station. There are kids playground, restaurants, ice cream stand and hiking trails as well.

I highly recommend taking the floibanen up to enjoy the beautiful views of Bergen. There are some hiking trails available, plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view or nature. There are a couple of shops, a kids play area and a place for a snack and a cold beverage. The restaurant was under construction when I was there and there were outdoor toliets for use. If you walk around you can most certainly find a little quiet spot to enjoy.

Amazing views over Bergen and lovely environment to walk around. Make sure you pre book and go early! We walked on to a train no bother, when we came down the queue was out the door. Worth the wait though!

Very interesting cable car with an extreme gradient. You can quickly reach Mount Fløyen, from where you have a very good view of the city and the harbor. We drove once around midday and then again late in the evening to enjoy the illuminated city, a good idea. The café on the mountain is also worth a visit.

Lovely views and the mountain goats are awesome! It’s worth the visit if you’re in Bergen.

Only do it on a clear day. Large park at top with walking trails could take a picnic. Goats roam free. Restaurant available. Good view, easy to find in center of Bergen. Would be very busy in summer buy tickets in advance if possible.

The flyway is a very modern cable car that runs silently up and down. In the 2 "train carriages" named Little Red Riding Hood and Blue Man, you have a fanatical view of Bergen. Fantastic destination. The short train ride and the price are definitely worth it. We took the trip twice, first during the day yesterday weather and at dusk and clear weather and got to see the sunset over the city, as well as a nice night light in Bergen

Excellent little funicular to a great. Iewing area above Bergen. Stunning views and loads for kids to do at the summit. There are walks, play parks, a cafe and shops. We bought tickets in advance on the Internet and just scanned them from our phones. Much cheaper than any arranged trip from the cruise. It was less than £30 for a family of 4.

Fun ride to the top but we didn't choose the best day to take the lift. 😊 There was a lot of fog so our view was obstructed. We still enjoyed a little walk and encountered very sweet goats on the mountain. Hopefully one day we can come back and enjoy a better view!

A cool funicular Railway in Bergen. The top has spectacular views of the city. As well as a little slice of natural beauty. Take a walk around the lake and enjoy the views.

Great destination. The short train ride is definitely worth it. We just drove up and then hiked down for about an hour. A little tip: if there are too many cruisers, it's better to postpone the tour to the afternoon.

Buy tickets in advance to skip queues, made a huge difference. Beautiful views from the top, we did a large hike for a couple of hours up the top. Would recommend taking out a free canoe on the lake nearest the viewpoint for 15 minutes as a bit of fun. A must do when in Bergen.
