Masters
student
here
from
Canada.
Pros:
-
No
tuition,
even
for
international
students.
-
Akademisk
Kvarter
has
interesting
events
and
is
a
great
place
to
both
study
and
have
some
drinks.
-
Great
location,
right
in
the
heart
of
the
city
centre.
Cons:
-
Teaching
quality
is
lacking....or
at
least,
a
very
different
style
than
I'm
used
to.
Often
technical
errors
like
assignments
disappearing
and
links
for
class
readings
not
working.
Rooms
and
times
for
class
are
constantly
changing
at
a
moment's
notice
as
well,
very
frustrating.
Likewise,
I
receive
written
feedback
for
assignments
yet
no
formal
"grade"
so
it
is
a
bit
uncomfortable
to
be
clueless
as
to
how
you
are
performing
academically
until
the
very
end
of
the
course.
-
Poor
"school
spirit."
As
an
international
student,
events
were
organized
during
the
first
month
(which
were
fun)
but
after
that,
nothing.
Organizations
such
as
buddy
groups
are
set
up
but
no
meetings
are
organized.
It's
all
great
in
theory
but
different
in
reality.
Really
pales
in
comparison
with
the
other
universities
I
have
studied
abroad
at.
-
No
24
hour
study
space,
school
libraries
keep
very
short
hours,
no
private
study
spaces
and
the
public
ones
fill
very
fast.
