Outdated
bars
and
handles.
Only
broken
bars
that
"spin"
due
to
the
weight
parts
are
detached
from
the
bars.
Almost
only
smooth
ceilings
on
machines
where
you
need
grips
such
as
lazy
pulldowns
and
"weight
rowing".
Nor
can
you
use
lime
to
make
up
for
the
bad
handles/grips.
(Have
asked
at
reception).
"Normal
machines"
and
loose
weights/barbells
work
perfectly
normally
and
are
of
good
quality.
Treadmills,
bicycles
and
the
like
are
in
good
condition.
The
center
is
clean
and
has
cloths
everywhere
to
wash
the
machines.
Very
nice
and
upgraded
wardrobe
downstairs.
Called
to
ask
about
the
opening
hours
and
was
helped
by
incredibly
pleasant
and
helpful
staff.
I
have
been
to
reception
to
ask
how
they
wanted
the
routine
when
you
arrive
at
the
center
as
they
have
an
"active"
reception
and
when
I
was
there
before
we
had
to
scan
cards
(Maybe
4
years
ago
now?).
Was
met
with
some
creepy
merit
that
wouldn't
help
and
made
me
feel
stupid
for
asking,
still
don't
know
how
they
want
us
to
do
it.
(These
are
three
different
ones
who
work
there.)
I
have
been
extremely
satisfied
with
the
other
active
centers
(Søreide,
Bønes,
Bergveien,
Arna,
kokstad),
so
surprised
by
how
disappointing
this
was
when
I
moved
to
Paradis.
Looks
like
they've
started
to
upgrade
the
center,
but
weightlifting
equipment
still
needs
attention
(and
maybe
some
lime).
Very
good
prices,
and
access
to
a
swimming
pool
and
joint
exercise
classes
such
as
spinning
for
those
who
want
it.
Recommend
the
other
Aktiv
centers
over
this,
but
Aktiv
itself
has
been
good.
