There’s two caffe, gift-shop, ice cream shop as well a children’s park(Trolle park), you can also spot lovely mountain goats roaming around in the nature, if you are in luck. In the surrounding woods, we spotted quirky wooden statues, a mountain stream, small waterfalls(caused by recent rainfalls) and the nature view is spectacular! A must for any Bergen visitor.

We took the funicular up to the hill (takes about 5 minutes), and one way ticket is NOK 85. Walking down to downtown Bergen from the hill takes about 45-60 minutes. The view of the Floyen is superb. Fantastic hike! My wife went one more on a hike to the panoramic view of Floyen and took a different route down. The hike gets steep, but for moderately fit hikes, I dont think you will have major issues. We did experience some rain on our hike which passed pretty quickly.
