Everything we ordered was really tasty and perfectly seasoned. The entire establishment was clean and modern. Must order: garlic chicken, eggplant, and the walnut shrimp was amazing. This business also has a great story with Uncle Lou at the center. I love supporting great small businesses like this. We went with no reservation at 1pm on a Sunday with 5 people and had no issues getting a table.

I dined at Uncle Lou on the last day of my visit in North America. At that time, I missed Cantonese food very much. And Uncle Lou didn’t disappoint me. The food is delicious though the taste is slightly different from that in Hong Kong. Besides, I particularly like the atmosphere of the restaurant. It is a mixture of East and West. Customers can order a drink and enjoy watching baseball game while they are waiting for their seats. Uncle Lou is so smart!

Great decor and ambience in the heart of Chinatown. The food is delicious and really hits the spot. It’s hard to find a spot in Chinatown that has both great food and great decor/service. Uncle Lou has both. It’s a nice place to bring family and/or friends and serves up all the classics. We had the Peking pork - which really reminded me of being back in China. In addition to the eggplant in garlic (wasn’t the best version I’ve had) and beef he fun - very classic and delicious. The portions were larger than I expected and definitely will be back!

Top-notch Cantonese-style foods that will blow you away. Every dish we ordered was the best we could've hoped for. We came as a party of 7 on a busy Thanksgiving day but got our table quite quickly and the servers also worked really fast on every orders. The restaurant is also spacious and clean, combined with the fairly cheap price tags and big portions make this a top choice for Chinese food.

The Peking duck was quite tasty. the atmosphere is pleasant. The white rice wasn't bad. brown was not tasty. vegetable springrol were not bad. service is friendly. As a compliment, when you sit down at the tables you are served tea.

Uncle Lou Chinese restaurant is a must-visit in Chinatown! Their service is top-notch, and the staff is super friendly. The food is simply amazing - I tried the honey walnut shrimp, crispy garlic chicken, and bacon fried rice, and they were all incredibly delicious. Plus, the restaurant is spotlessly clean, making it a comfortable place to dine. What sets them apart is that they accept credit cards, which is a rare find in Chinatown. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu. If you're craving fantastic Chinese food in a clean, friendly setting, don't miss Uncle Lou's – it's a gem!

Friendly staff with a great menu. I thought the graphics on the menu were super cute. We ordered the pork belly, the Peking pork chop lunch special, and a steamed pork bun. The restaurant provides tea and a tasty soup to start. The lunch specials we ordered were really delicious and came out quickly. I will definitely come again!

Fantastic Chinese food. Ginger fried rice was a surprise hit! Also the jelly fish was fantastic! If you are in the area, this is an absolutely necessary stop!
